I had the potato curry today, and while the quality was very good the quantity was seriously disappointing. I don't understand it — I believe in supporting gay venues but won't eat there again. How much extra would it have cost to give an adequate portion?

OMG! Where to start. This place has been thrown out of Scarborough and landed in Kings Cross. Xfactor wannabes screeching on karaoke led by a 70 year old tone deaf host. Bar staff are friendly but they are of course controlled by the annoying queens that have been thrown out of every other bar… then there is the stroppy old pool playing 'cross dresser. Step back in time and have a giggle. If you last 30 minutes in this place then… you are from Scarborough?

It was a drag queen night with many of the crowd in drag. Even if you are not a fan I still recommend to have a drink there as it is something different from an usual night out (just be prepared to take some friendly banter if you are a "square", I did! )

Nice little bar, friendly atmosphere and bar staff were also welcoming. It was a cold night and we sat near a "live" fire place — cosy & warm. Bar service was quick. We went at a quiet time, on the way to the theatre, so there wasn't a show on, but we hear the shows are good. We passed by later and saw it was much busier with a performer on stage. We will return…

Good classic London pub, one of the few gay-exclusive venues around. Hosts various Cabernet and "after dark" members only events.

Is it a pub or a bar? Whatever it is it's not the best looking place around but I was coming for Geek meets here and that made me like this place. I'm not a fan of gay venues but this place is indeed cozy and staff are friendly. Downside would be price list but then again it is a popular place. Not a fan of dungeons or stuff but it dkes give you options.

The most community-minded of all London's gay bars. Friendly, down-to-earth and no 'attitude'. Lots of locals, such as myself, are loyal supporters yet it also attracts visitors from around the world — so there are always new faces. Great staff and the owners, Martin and Duncan, are game for a laugh anytime. Top recommendation.

Fab place. Great choice of food which is freshly prepared and excellent value. Underground club in need of redecorating but always a good time. Bar staff are the friendliest in town. Atitude free all welcome. Great acts on selected nights.

I suspect that the basement still smells of urine from the continuous Yellow parties held there. The toilets are just as disgusting. Shame it could be a good venue without those two at the helm.

Just there to visit the Underground Club. Lil, small. Not the best. But it was a funny night! I would visit it again! :).

Great at the weekends. Bit quiet during the week. It's really friendly though :).
