Review of Crowne Plaza London 4*

Excellent. We went for one night with my elderly parents for our sons graduation, the hotel was immaculate and location to everything was easy to get too, the river is right across the road; but views of it from your room are only available in the executive rooms. The room were spacious and very comfortable; however they need to upgrade their PILLOWS, paper thin and had to fold them in half to get any kind of comfort at night unfortunately. We were in a standard room, so not sure if this is the case for the executive rooms. Reception staff were very attentive and allowed us to have a late check without any extra cost or hassle even though they were fully booked on the Monday; I did however negotiate with the receptionist to join the reward scheme. Bargain for the comfort for my parents! We got to keep one room and it was spacious enough for all of us to stay and get ready without feeling cramped. Leave our car in their free car park (always a plus with us) even after we had checked out till after the late graduation. Thank you! Alex the receptionist was amazing and turned his had to what ever needed to be done to get us too and in our rooms after our long drive to Kingston, "Alex I commend you high level of customer service even though you have only been in your role for 4 months" Also Cristina and Elena for helping try and locate a missing package that should have been delivered but did not turn up, I appreciate your help and support. The restaurant was brilliant, my mum is diabetic and we both only wanted a light meal, I asked for plain grilled chicken with sweet potato fries and side salad, the waiter took our order and said he would check with the chef, who came out personally to speak to us and check what we wanted also checking gain how my dad wanted to steak, brilliant customer service again. The food was brilliant and well presented with good prices. We had breakfast and again standard was as expected continental and full english if you wanted, they made your choice of eggs to order which was brill. Overall, the Holiday Inn Kingston South was an amazing stay and for my parents who do not travel and stay in hotels ever, this is one stay they wont forget at all. So I take my hat off to all the staff at this hotel for making this special weekend even more special. Thank you thank you thank you.
