I have had the same problem. Came in 7pm. Someone else came in later. Heard banging and could see front door being kicked for 45 mins. Rang and emailed owners. Phones turned off. Rang police. Got anonymous number call. Thought it was police ringing me back. A stranger told me to open the front door and let people in. I was in my pyjamas and felt unsure. Another family then came in. A woman knocked on my door. She handed me a phone I was shouted at and told that I had caused the problem with the door. Minutes later all of my future bookings were cancelled when there was money in the bank at short notice. I have proof/ pictures and videos of everything. The place is really shocking, cracked tiles, holes in walls, wires held up by clothes pegs, run. Fast.
Could not get into the property, called the owners they did not respond — I was a single woman travelling alone, left stranded in London — I have complained to Booking. Com, owners still not responded, they were happy to take my money though, please avoid at all costs.
Tidy clean and comfortable. No reception ok for a good night sleep.
