A nice place to stay, even with the family.

Very nice staff, they helped us so much. The rooms are also very nice. We liked everything and would come back for sure.

Recommend all over the world affordable prices, clean rooms nice. It’s really a good place to stay.

In general, a poor version of a Ibis Styles hotel and there is no way I would say this is a 3 star standard compared to what I have seen at Ibis Styles in France, for less cost. Located in a deprived, high crime area and just because it is in 'London', Ibis are really taking the p*ss! -My lovely 'check-in' female receptionist was excellent, really friendly and helpful. Afternoon and evening male reception staff, unfriendly and disinterested in their role. -Parking area was a good facility as the road outside is mad, at all times with traffic so parking out there is a no-no. — The price of the bar food was very reasonable and pretty good standard. — Breakfast was of a poor standard compared to Ibis Styles I have stayed at in France. Just very bland and unimaginative as a continental breakfast. And they clear away far too fast, even if you have just gone for another cup of coffee? — The bar and breakfast area looks like an Ikea store the decorations are so cold, unwelcoming and austere. Just does not encourage you to spend time there relaxing, as you just do not feel relaxed. It is like a M & S cafe feel rather than a lounge bar. — My room had one window, restricted opening for ventilation and this opened out onto the area where the staff stand to have a smoke, at all hours of day. The smoke enters the room which is not great for a non-smoker. Why doesn't the hotel provide a proper shelter away from the hotel for the staff to stand in?

My wife and me stayed there for three nights. We did nt have a very good experience to say the least. It was very basic and smelly. There was a constant smell of drains. I could nt work the shower hot tap and the sink was blocked. I reported to a very nicely dressed member of staff who seemed to acknowledge my complaint. Over the next 2 Days none of my complaints were dealt with. Breakfast was acceptable. The hotel looks great from the outside. They seem to focus mostly on outward appearances and forget what it is they are supposed to do, i. E. To look after customers. We won t go there again and we wont be recommending it to people.

It's not bad. It's justa bit more expensive than should be for the service. Breakfast is bad too.

This was good value for London. However the interior decoration in the room was dated and some of the furniture unecessary. Staff very helpful and courteous.

It's not a luxurious hotel but the rooms are nice, clean and there are all the basic amenities in the room. The bathroom is nice they have shower gel. There are tea and coffee items in the room. This hotel is good for a basic hotel.

Service friendly, room very cramped, dinner bad cards, either kitchen closure or problems in the kitchen. Breakfast from 6.00 am, was glad the half-seven was already toast and cereal. With an estimated 200 guests I found it very bad that only one coffee machine is available, which must be emptied after 15 cups. Is not recommended.

Lovely location only thought is we didn't realise it didn't have some lift and as we were on he you floor our bags were kindly taken to our room. Had dinner which was really tasty. Lovely night there well rested. Would recommend.

Overall good experience. Big room with double bed. No cleanliness issues. Good staff with 24/7 service I guess. Nothing can beat the complimentary breakfast.

It was an amazing experience at ibis croydon. I have stayed with my partner. It was quick check in and had our room keys to relax after long journey. Room and toilet was spotless. After freshen up ourselves we came down at the bar and enjoyed our dinner. We always stay at ibis on different places and we enjoy the buffet breakfast. All the staff was very helpful. Whenever I come to london I will definitely stay again to enjoy the amazing service.

It's a contractor's hotel, but you couldn't knock it, my room was clean, the bathroom spotless, it was warm, quiet, no cooked breakfast, but a good range of cereals. The rooms are cheap, don't forget £7 extra for overnight parking though. I'd happily go back.

They don't consider your feelings even with booking. Com, but it was nice a experience at hotel ibis styles. The rooms are very good.

If it were to be the cleanliness of the hotel, it would have deserved only 2 stars. (The bed linen was left-handed and covered with fluff, Dee carpet full of crumbs, the curtains with stains, cracks in the stool, hair in the shower drain, a sleep mask don previous occupants under the bed…) As the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the transport links to the city centre to London was quite good I give 3 stars.

Horrible place in everything. Corridors gloomy in labyrinth, without elevator. Single-split room with no adequate heating system. Ancient baths and almost no hot water. The only positive thing, the bus at the door, can easily get to train stations or even to central London directly.

Very clean and well maintained, nice rooms, good breakfast. Transport links to London Victoria Peak. Only the area is a bit weird.

Rooms are very small and cold as there are problems with the heating. The electricity has been off for the past 2 hours +, with no indecation as to when it will return, so no hot water or breakfast.

Always enjoy staying in this hotel. Only downside was it took around 5 minutes for the shower to warm up. Apart from that I had no other complaints. I do regularly enjoy staying in this hotel when I am in South London for work.

A very attractive hotel with clean and chic rooms. For our 3-day city trip to Londen wonderfully suitable. Very rich breakfast (light and whole grain toast as well as croissants, various cereals, sausage and cheese, eggs, honey, jam, coffee, tea, juices …) and friendly and helpful staff at any time of day and night. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel entrance, so you are directly connected to the city. Bus tickets are available in the mini-shop about 50m down the street. A wonderful little, cute hotel with bar (unfortunately we couldn't test). Highly recommended :o)

Little window in the bedroom? Housekeeper exceeded. The staff is listening and responding quickly.

It was a nice and cosy place to stay during our holiday. The location of the hotel is good. Breakfast is tasty but not really an English breakfast. Just a good and basic meal to start your day. The room was good and clean. Sleeping was no problem since the bed slept nice.

I’ve stayed in the hotel for a week or so, it is a standar hotel, with all the basics amenities and services. Nothing really to say in a negative way. The breakfast, as I said, basic, but really nice and the croissant fresh and tasty. The room I had was quite big, as we had a wheelchair. Bathroom good size too. The staff has been really professional and kind. Maybe the only thing I can say is about the cleaning every day. They could have done better. For everything else, nice stay.

It's decent for the price we paid to stay for two nights, but it was honestly one of the hardest matresses I have ever been on. The room lacked any real character and the hair dryer was a bizarre contraption that looked like a vacuum. Breakfast was bizarre as it's not laid out well and nobody seemed to know how to queue. I gave up after a bit and just went and purchased breakfast as I was tired of people barging in front of me. The seating is also too crowded. But for just a quick stop over, it did the trick but it is unlikely we would ever stay here on our next trip.

It will be a 3 star, but perhaps according to the English evaluation, certainly not according to the evaluation of an Italian: tiny rooms, bad maintenance, toilets not clean on arrival and obviously lack of bidet (we are in 2017 and still we Italians are the Only to know the hygiene? ).
Double room with only two body towels? I mean, one per guest, no other hand and face towels…
Breakfast is Parca, almost spartan; Large absent: eggs, bacon, mushrooms and everything that makes English an English breakfast.
The place is obviously out of the way (the Croydon is at least 35/40 minutes by taxi from central London), but this I already knew, I am here aware of the situation; The problem is that after 22 the public services disappear.
The only positive note of this hotel is the courtesy and friendliness of the staff, always ready to solve the problems of the customers.

One of the best hotel in London. Public transport is easily available nearer to this hotel. The buffet breakfast is available for all customers. Quality of breakfast is good. Mainly they are providing continental breakfast. Rooms quality is best. They maintain hotel very cleanly. Rates are slightly high as campare to other surroundings hotels. But overall quality is the best.

The Ibis Styles London Croydon is a charming hotel in the south of London. The staff there is very friendly and the service of very good quality. The room is not very spacious but is very quiet, modern and clean. It has all the necessary comforts: air conditioning, cable TV, free Wi-Fi, electric kettle with coffee and tea graciously offered and a large bed very comfortable. The bathroom is quite large and also has a hairdryer. Breakfast is basic but good consistency and is already served from 6.30 am, even on weekends.
In short, for the small price requested, the hotel provides good service. On the other hand you will have to face more than 1 hour of public transport (Station Overground/Southrailway of West Croydon 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes bus, then 1h by train/Metro) to reach the center of London, but for the one that does not mind, it's a pretty nice ride.
Personally, I would recommend this hotel for small budgets that want to make a Citytrip in London and that are not afraid of long trips by public transport. For my part, I will gladly return to the Ibis Styles London Croydon.

Wonderful Holiday! I have visited London with my family in the summer holiday for 5 days and we were very lucky to find this hotel. We had the rooms 153 and 152 which were perfect to us (comfy beds and good Wi-Fi connection). We would very much like to say a big thank you to all the staff which took care of us and especially to Olivia. She was our guardian angel which every day made our travels easy with the best advice, without her I think we would have been lost and certainly could have not seen so many touristic attractions. Hope to see you again next summer!

Such a wonderful experience. Lovely staff and hotel. Very nice design of room. Room very clean with towels replace every day. Breakfast included an car park on extra charge.

Small room which we had to bend down to get around, worse night's sleep ever, annoying loud droning noise all night, then when someone would go to the toilet we would hear them flush and all the water could be heard loudly for at least 10 minutes in the walls. Dirty walls and windows, rusty and unclean bathroom and couldn't swing a cat in, I could stand in the middle and touch each wall. Sheets were grubby and table was falling over, okay I know it's a budget hotel but cleanl…iness is not something they should skimp on. There free Wi-Fi wouldn't even reach the room, so couldn't use it, breakfast wasn't all that, or hygienic, we have stayed in alot of hotels and by far the worst. If every ibis hotel is like this, I can't understand why they are still in business, but I will never try one again so will never find out. And £7 for guest parking a night?! They were having works done and they started work at 8am so very loud. Would not recommend anyone staying here, I wouldn't even let my dogs stay there. Only plus was staff were polite, cannot fault them. Photos they use are nothing like actual hotel. Never again!

The rooms are not very large but was ok for €69. The staff were also very net and breakfast tasted to me and my family.

This is a comfortable but basic hotel, convenient for getting around by car, bus stop right outside Hotel. Ground floor room 2 night stay but there were several sets of small stairway to get to room. Beds: 1x double needs mattress upgrade 2x single beds very comfortable ok for short stay staff very friendly & helpful breakfast included good choice car park available pay per night… would use this hotel again.

This hotel is very tired. Judging by my room, this place needs investment, quickly. The Staff, brilliant. Polite and professional thought. Breakfast. It was a little basic, but all was as it should be. No dramas with the food and I loved the fresh fruit The eating area was very nice, but a little odd as to it's location, near the hotel reception desk. May be a screen or two, just to obscure the aspect.

VERY small rooms so not good if you are travelling with a large suitcase, that said tho, the rooms are modern, comfortable and very clean, there's ample free parking (rare in London), foods reasonable and good as is beer, plus free Wi-Fi and continental breakfast you would be lucky to find anything to that standard for the same price. Working in the area or just needing a stop for a night or two then this is your place.

Best Hotel of the average English.

Clean and comfortable. Myself my partner and my sister use this hotel when visiting my son. Parking on site is reasonable. Small bar for a quick drink before retiring. Never used breakfast facilities but looks reasonable.

Booked at the last minute. The Reception was very welcoming and the room came with all the amenities that you would expect. Clean and tidy and very reasonable price all in all a nice place to stay and I would defiantly recommend.

Rooms were comfortable and I had a fairly big room for just 1 person. Air conditioning was good. Rooms clean. Breakfast area close to the entrance which isn't great and you only get continental included in the price (which was quite pricey). Food was good though.

Great layout, but very disappointing! We stayed there this past weekend to attend a friend's party close by. Long story short the cleaners made so much noise, shouting to each other, banging doors, heavily stomping when walking past our room and vacuuming the other rooms at 06:30 in the morning-no lie! (we only got in at 02:00! ) Utterly disgusted to say the least! We asked for a late check out to get enough rest before a 3 hour drive home and didn't get much sleep at all with all the noise! Landed up leaving at 11! Won't be staying there ever again that's for sure and best believe I will not be recommending it to anyone else!

Nice rooms. Nice beds. Accommodating staff when we checked in late, 1am. However, in the morning, could not get hot water out of the shower for 20 min. Had to call front desk, they sent someone to get a bit of warm water but no pressure! Showered under the trickle! Complained to front desk, no manager on site, desk staff apologized and did nothing else. Didn't really seem to care. That plus the fact our room was at the end of a labyrinth of hallways has convinced us not to recommend the place. Not at that price! Breakfast was very good though.

Bit of a mixed bag. Stayed 1 night and although the room was good and the staff were helpful the lack of food on offer was disappointing. Strange eating dinner surrounded by 10-15 people eating Chinese takeaway. My room (130) was right beside the corridor door so very noisy.

Cheap and very clean but very far from central London. At least 50 minutes between train and bus. Very small room Bathroom definitely to redo.

The most unpleasant place I have ever had the misfortune to stay in my life. Looks lovely from outside, but its a big ploy. Reception staff non English, slow and cold. What they don't tell you at check in is that there is a parking charge of £5 a day and your vehicle is impounded behind gates to not let you out which is a disgrace as the hotel is like a prison. Nasty atmosphere, nasty tiny room which has no chair, table, cupboard, draws, no USB ports, shit internet and to top it off, if you want food be ready for the most disgusting experience, I ordered lasagne chips and salad. This was a cheap Iceland £1 microwave meal which was cold with water all around it, a child's hand full of cold chips, two bits of stale cucumber one lettuce leaf and a thin cut slice of tomato £7, revolting and gave me stomach ache. The room is not even fit for a convict, bed on the floor, arkwardly placed TV the place smells, all night long the sound of police sirens, I also had the room phone ring twice at night once at 4am and another at 6:15am with nobody there when answered, I ask reception why it rang and they did not know, useless staff. Breakfast is a very sad affair, everybody waiting and scrambling for food which is awful, about 3 cereals all cheap no Kelloggs or anything, and uncomfortable plastic tables and chairs. AVOID THIS SHITHOLE save your money and sleep in your car or a bus stop.

Ghastly place. Truly vile. Probably THE worst dive I've ever slept in. Cheap plastic furniture, cardboard tasting teabags in room. Corridors stink of 'I don't know what'. The room looks like what I'd expect a slightly upmarket prison cell to look like. Avoid at all costs. The staff are pleasant but — This is a really disgustingly awful 'hotel' It's more like a YMCA without the healthy bits. Yuk yuk yuk.

The Room are clean and I love the customer service team there. The only sad thing in my opinion is paying the car park when you stay over 2 days but I am guessing is Accor Hotels group policy.

Got to stay here a Saturday night on just £40 booking a month in advance. Best value for money! Room is not big, nor perfect, but staff is very nice, place is clean, breakfast (included) was adequate. Considering London prices this is a bargain up to £50. Still worth considering at £60, I wouldn't go too much over £70. Happy to have paid £5 for parking overnight. Thanks again to the staff, especially the guy at the reception.

First time in hotel abroad seemed cramped, breakfast service was good. Process were good too.

The only bad thing was the transport is difficult to get there. The rest was spectacular.

I've been here with a group of Slovak tourist, didn't know what to expect but turns out it was a sweet place, beds are fantastic, breakfast too, the only complain would be that rooms ars bit smallish, but everything else is cool. The hotel is clear, staff nice, the bus stop is right in front of the hotel — also the big plus for me, an exchange bureau is nearby (200 meters). Great experience.

Boiling 1 day or cold water only the next day, the problem is still being resolved. I hope that tomorrow it will be fixed. Otherwise correct and personal hotel pleasant.

I've been at Ibis with my family and it was very nice and clean. The staff were polite. We were happy and are intending to go more time sooner.

Didn't ask for my passport when checking in but mainly there's 1 elevator on 1 side of the hotel?! What is that about? So I'm expected to carry heavy luggage to the 3rd floor! Could've got something much better at he price I paid! Never booking with these guys again. Jokers.

This place is an absolute hell hole my company has payed good money for the 3 of us and ive stayed in better b+b's at half the price, food is frozen microwave rubbish and the place is like a hostel dirty and tatty, avoid like the plague.

We went to London 1 month ago. And we have stayed there. The hotel was very nice and breakfasts was so delicious. The hotel staffs were genial, I miss all. Specially, I miss Murtaza :-) I want to go there again. :).

Not being funny, anyone who lives or knows the area would of known better. Sorry u guys have been taken for muggs cos thats what happend.

I am very disappointed from the representation of the Norfolk hotel! Back in November, my father booked a room in this hotel with reference to this page’s guidance. He found that hotel which was showing on the map that was in Guilford while it was actually in Croydon. He has contacted the hotel before arriving to confirm that the hotel was in Guildford and the receptionist confirmed the details. After visiting Guilford late in the evening from a long driving from Gatwick airport we have sadly figured out that the hotel was not actually in Guildford, but in Croydon. The distance was one hour and therefore we could not drive back to that hotel. We looked for a hotel around but the hotels were full and for that reason, we had to sleep in the car until next morning. The following morning and for several more times I have called the hotel and several people everytime were claiming to be the General Managers were not willing to accept the fault of their page and were very unwilling to help us. For 7 months now, I have been trying to contact the management of the hotel however, everyone is pretending that he understands and he will find out what happened and let me know! No refund was given since it was not our fault to go to Guildford but the hotels fault representation online. I have never heard back from them even though they have promised that they will come back to me!
