An amazing place to stay. So attentive, nothing too much trouble. Very inclusive with all dietary needs. Staff very thoughtful.

After an initial issue with our booking they did get our afternoon tea ready only 20 minutes later than our original time … we were given a free drink from the bar to compensate… Our Afternoon tea was absolutely delicious although far too much to consume in one sitting, the children were happy with their takeaway cakes 🧁

My husband and I would highly recommend the Diglis House Hotel. We got married here on the 29 August. We had the most fantastic day. The weather was perfect and the staff couldn't do enough to help. Thanks guys. 😍

My husband and I got married at The Diglis House Hotel on the 10th October 2021. The Hotel were absolutely brilliant throughout the whole process from the planning to the actual wedding day. The staff were lovely and the food was delicious! Family friendly and definitely picturesque. Would highly recommend Diglis House for any event or function.

Another pleasant evening eating and drinking on Saturday evening. Pleasant staff, well organised on entry and during the time we spent there. Food was lovely too.

Diglis House Hotel has become our new regular. We feel it is the only place in Worcester that is actually wanting to keep their customers safe and happy. All outside staff wear masks, thermometer checks as you come in, seating plan to make sure social distancing is adhered to. We have and will continue to highly recommend this great and safe place to everyone who wants to meet safely and have a lovely experience.

First time eating out since lockdown began. Very helpful friendly staff all ran smoothly with social distancing. Food very nice and well presented can reccomend. Nice views to outside.

We stayed for 5 days. The team of staff there are absolutely brilliant, going out of their way to make every thing feel safe and normal. Under the pressure of stifling temperatures and the odd unreasonable customer all the while maintaining top class service. I recommend the Diglis House Hotel, simply the best Hotel in Worcester and possibly the most well run bar and restaurant during these unusual times for us all. Simply brilliant stay thank you guys.

Visited Diglis today with the family. The service was fantastic and friendly as always. Very well managed with social distancing measures in place. The food was great and came out very quickly. Will definitely be back soon! The Diglis team are doing a fab job.

Our family, a total of 14 of us, had Christmas lunch at the Diglis Hotel and I have to say it was one of the best meals we have had.
Our party included 2 young children and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff.
I can only congratulate the chef and his staff for the quality of the food, it was fantastic and it was great to be able to give him face to face feedback when he came out of the kitchen at the end of the meal to talk to his customers.
We have provisionally booked to go back for Christmas 2020 so no pressure.
Once again thank you Diglis Hotel you excelled and we all really appreciated the fact that you were working on Christmas Day for our benefit but produced such fantastic food, service and all with smiles on your faces.

Had a lovely stay here. The room was amazing, with views of the Severn & nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We had issues with the heating — they were there like a shot to sort it & even offered us a portable heater should we have needed it.

Food was very over cooked and disappointing, when I informed them about our experience I was completely ignored and no regard for this at all.

Have just returned home after a 2 night stay in a Junior Suite and am already looking forward to going back! The room was lovely, the staff were brilliant and the location couldn't have been better. It was all I could have asked for and more.

Four of us had a three night stay at the Diglis. The rooms were nice and overlooked the river. Breakfast was fine. Good choice, efficient staff. We didn't eat later in the day we were just too busy so I can't really comment. Some more friends joined us and we had afternoon tea in one of the drawing/sitting rooms. This was tea for six, rather than full afternoon tea. It was lovely. I think I speak for all of us when I say I hope to return for another stay one day.
The hotel is beautifully situated on the banks of the River Severn and 400 metres from Worcester Cathedral. Worcester Guildhall, Friar Street and all the sites of great historical interest are handy to get to together with the canal and locks just down river. Cafes, pubs and restaurants are nearby too and only yards away is the Royal Worcester Museum.
If you are interested in what Worcester has to offer, this is a pretty good place to stay.

Nice hotel. I only had a drink here and it took a long time to get served as only one till was working in the bar. Hence the 3 stars, but friends ate here and said the meal was good and value for money. Staff were pleasant and its a nice setting. Would give it 4 stars if they get till sorted.

Staff here are really friendly, its perfect here for a summer drink if your lucky enough to get a table, competitive prices, good drinks and a fantastic relaxing view. Also went to a wedding here recently, Jay behind the bar was great and the venue was perfect.

Came for a late lunch on a quite Monday (two of us). We ordered our food at the bar and went to sit outside and enjoy the weather. We started to notice food was going out but the people ordered after us. I waited 40 minutes then went in to ask about it. They went off to find out and came back with food in hand. I had a sandwich and the bread was a little dry from what I can guess was from being sat there, my sweet potatoes fries were soggy and semi warm. My partner had gammon egg and chips, which was cold and chips were stale. We were not tabled checked either, I know we were outside but still they weren’t busy and should be checking especially as I had already made a complaint. We ate what we could because we were very hungry but I wouldn’t come back for food.

We have just returned home after a three night stay at The Diglis. There were ten of us in the party, there to celebrate my husband's birthday. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they even moved a large table into the restuarant so that we could all eat together. The food was excellent and the outdoor seating area was large with lovely views of the river. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were the best I've slept on. We were in room 6 which had a large bay window overlooking the gardens and river. Thank you for helping to make the weekend special.

7 of us came for afternoon tea today, we sat outside on the terrace over looking the river which was lovely but unfortunately that's where the good bits ended, The afternoon tea what can I say at £14 per person we had a sandwich each of very limited choice salmon, egg or ham, the bread was hard and obviously been sat out even though we had to pay in full at time of booking as everything is made fresh! A bite size hard brownie per person, a scone and a slice of fruit cake oh and not forgetting the sour yogurt and strawberry sauce little thing, yogurt really on an afternoon tea? We had order and pay for extra sandwiches which took a while to arrive and more cost so for 7 of us we had two little cake stands come out, overall extremley disappointed for the cost we could have had a much nicer bar meal, if your planning on afternoon tea I honestly wouldn't waste your money there are much nicer and cheaper places to go in Worcester. Would have been a 1 star review but the location saved it!

Overlooking the River Severn and an easy walk to Worcester Cathedral. The staff are very friendly. The bar has a good choice of gins. We stayed in a Junior Suite in the adjoining annexe. It was a good sized room and bathroom. Although there is no lift in the annexe, you can get help with luggage if necessary. The car park by the main building is small and can fill up. However there is another car park by the annexe that has easy access back to the main building.

Lovely little pub. Parking is a bit of an issue, but plenty of parking around if you don't mind a little walk. Food is excellent. Alcohol choice is great. Atmosphere is chilled and relaxed. Outdoor garden is nice with a view of the river 7 a foot path width away.

Visited to drink outside in the sun. Location is nice as it is close to the river. Took a while to be served as it was busy & there were not many staff working the bar/they were not the quickest to serve. Drink prices were above average.

Great beer garden when the weather's nice, pleasant view over the river. Foods pretty good as well. For some reason they call last orders super early though, around half 9, hence the lower rating.

Stayed overnight for a Ginfest event at Worcester Guildhall. Had a ground floor room with bay window overlooking river made all the better by the weather. Lovely old characterful hotel in an ideal location to town centre. Breakfast was good but service was average.

A lovely hotel right on the river Severn within walking distance of the town centre. We popped in for drinks during a visit to Worcester and found the staff friendly and helpful. There's a good range of drinks as well as a reasonably priced food menu.

Hote / bar / function place on the side of the River Severn in Worcester. Lovely spot with scenic views. Peaceful. Historic interior and decor. A range of good ales cocktails teas and coffees etc. Meals served. Perfect place for a wedding. Beautiful rooms including a glass conservatory for those wet days when you want to be outside but cant be outside. Great garden for sitting out. Parasols and comfy seats. Disability access is some areas but couldnt see disabled toilet. Can take children and dogs on leads. Service good. Staff do come and clear the tables in the garden which is often not the case in such venues. Bar a little small at times of high demand.

This is probably the most popular places in the summer for a drink on a hot sunny day! Shame that it never seems ready for it! No organization in that area. But it is very popular wedding venue luckily they must have a function manager to organize the weddings. Excellent accommodation, the food here is of a very high standard and I can highly recommend that you try out the menu. The drinks are on the pricey side. Lovely view over the river from the garden. A must to visit.

It’s a lovely room (specified to be close to my dad’s room, but couldn’t be accommodated so are in different buildings). Beautiful surroundings. But slow restaurant service. And very limited parking spaces. Just about managed to squeeze the car in the last space. And although the restaurant was empty, they seemed to have run out of most food. All in all, a beautiful location if you’re just looking for a room, and amazing customer service, but you may need to consider eating out, and planning ahead for parking.

The signed house is a great, picturesque hotel by the river near Worcester. If you don't want to stay there you can have did and drinks, both of which are very good and the interior is comfortable. I would recommend stopping by here if you are in the area.

Lovely friendly place, dog friendly which was just so good even though we were without a dog. The spot is so peaceful right next to the river.

Very nice spot to sit on a sunny day, looking out from their terrace over the River Severn. Quite stylish more traditional hotel. A walk along the river front from the Diglis lock system should include a stop for coffee and cakes here.

Lovely Riverside hotel, have stayed multiple times. Breakfast is very good quality, the rooms are clean and the staff are lovely.

Called in with a group of work colleagues for morning coffee. This had been pre-ordered and arrived promptly. Nice place with view over River Severn. This place has a large garden with a river view and is extremely popular in summer months.

Welcoming warm and wonderful. We were staying with our family Maitre de made us very very welcome. Happy time.

There is a great restaurant here. The food is always good and there's a great atmosphere with lovely views across the river.

Stopped at the diglis 7th Nov. Lovely food and clean and tidy room. On arrival checked in to be told room was 32. Left to find it myself and could not as it was dark. Went to ask bar staff who again were not helpful. Eventually found it 20 mins later. It was the other end of the hotel in quite a secluded and dark area. Where as my male colleague was in the main hotel. Need to adopt premiers idea that females on their own are closer to reception. Would stay again in checking in on room allocation.

Well where do I start… me and my wife had a bad experience here at Diglis House Hotel. We had our reception here recently and I have to say we thought we would have the greatest experience of our day and life. Wrong! The food at the meal… well the chicken was just about warm, some with water still leaking out and some of the chicken under cooked. Not a great start as most guests who had the chicken dinner either left it or ended up with food poisoning! Guests were very disappointed and so were me and my wife! The DJ was miserable too. Most DJ's I have known always give a friendly welcome and are very entertaining but not ours. The DJ was supplied by Diglis themselves! What a let down! Then… I have the management team harass me because the children were having fun in the garden. Clearly they couldn't cope. Kids are kids! They weren't causing major problems like destroying the place. They were having a fantastic time! What do they expect kids to do? Sit down and be quiet? No chance! Then the evening buffet was terrible. The skewers were cold and not cooked either! Another chicken problem! Fantastic! The food was removed way too early especially the savouries. Guests wanted a snack to soak up the alcohol… guess what? … the staff had removed it all just after 9pm! What a joke! I've been to receptions and buffets do not get packed up that quick! Some guests were left feeling angry and hungry and left early than expected! What a disaster to our evening.

Very good location. Right in the bank of the river and close to the city centre. Some nice restaurants in the area. Nice period room. Had everything we needed. Free unlimited Wi-Fi. Free parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Good service. A rather small breakfast room for a place that size. We had to wait (not too long) to be seated. You have to pay extra for some breakfast options even if you include breakfast when booking.

The event itself was lovely — tasty food, polite staff, lovely atmosphere, the room was clean and well laid out. It took a long time to get a soft drink — there were 5 people behind the bar at one point, yet service was extremely slow and it appeared very disorganised.

Only a gentle stroll down the River Severn from Worcester town centre, the Diglis House Hotel is a delightful place to stop and have a drink and to take in a little river scenery. It has lovely gardens and friendly staff to make your time spent here pleasant and enjoyable.

Location is great. Set against the beautiful back drop of the River Severn and the world renowned Worcester Porcelain factory and museum. The staff are very courteous and professional. The event was held in the function room which has views over the garden and River Severn. The food was excellent. Certainly try the chocolate mouse. Would certainly recommend.

The Diglis has a beautiful setting and lovely food and drink, perfect for a summers day. However, sometimes in the summer during peak times it is simply too busy! Get there early at times like these!

Great location by the River Severn.

My partner and I had Sunday lunch here and unfortunately we were very disappointed. The location was perfect with a lovely view of the river but the food was very disappointing. We both had roast chicken which was more like canteen food than a top hotel, the roast potatoes were clearly frozen, the vegetables were overcooked and the gravy, which was supposed to have been made with red wine, was very thin and tasted as if it had been made with an Oxo cube. The service though, was excellent, but sadly that was our first and last visit to the Diglis.

It's a great hotel. Room was lovely, food was great. Surroundings beautiful. All good.

When our car broke down we had no option but to stay at the Diglis House Hotel as we were stranded. What a blessing that we did. I and my son have nothing but praise for the help and consideration that was shown to us by the management and staff for the three nights we were there. The location is beautiful situated right on the River Severn and very close to the centre of Worchester. The decor may need some updating but the hospitality more than makes up for this. Thank you all at the Diglis.

Poor room maintenance. Problems with heating, shower, sink. And staff unable to solve issues. Nice and cosy, but the maintenance issues are excessive.
