Had a fantastic stay. Rooms were lovely and clean — clearly lots of effort had been made to take extra hygiene measures upon reopening on 4th July. Great beer, great food and very friendly hosts — 10/10.

Fantastic pie dinner collected hot from the door. Superb coffee cake thrown in for ‘testing purposes’; it’s great guys, really great.
Everyone local to Cleobury must support these guys, as they are still providing great service to the community!

Very disappointed at lunch today — had looked at menu on website and were excited at the prospect of something special. Especially liked the idea of a Fisherman’s or Hop-picker’s sharing platter. Alas, what was on offer fell way below expectations — no platters, just relatively ordinary “pub grub” options. Add to this a price of £7.50 for a large glass of red wine and a chill in air because the log burner not burning properly and we gave up and left.
Sorry, but following numerous excellent times at the Talbot it will take a lot to entice us back.

Loved that it was dog friendly too. Nice food and lots of great areas to eat, drink. Good for a catch up with a few or many friends!

Had dinner there last night with our friends, it was superb, salmon to start, lamb shanks for main Best lamb I have ever tasted, crispy skin, the meat just fell off the bone. Great wine and excellent service, can’t wait to go back!

Lovely little gem in the heart of cleobury mortimer. Creaky floors add to the character. Lovely big bedroom was clean and at the front! Breakfast was hot and plentiful and val who served us was lovely! Will return!

Ate here last night and had gastroenteritis/food poisoning when I got home. Severe vomiting all night, day off work with stomach cramps today. I had Scallops and Steak. Will not be eating there again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stopover at this great pub/Inn serving good quality food and drink with comfortable rooms. Very friendly staff made this a memorable break.

Visited here whilst staying on holiday in the area. A nice selection of beer and a small but comfortable beer garden. Food is served from 6pm and we had a decent selection of tapas dishes. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

New Year's Eve — very good food and entertainment.

We stayed on the 18th November at the Talbot Inn for one night. As soon as we walked in, we were welcomed by very friendly staff and shown to our rooms. Really comfortable beds, lovely bathroom (big shower! ). In the evening we enjoyed a three course meal in the restaurant which was delicious and reasonably priced for the quality and portion size. I wouldn't hesitate recommending staying and/or dining here and will definitely be making a return visit.

Quaint little hotel in the middle of cleobury! Beautiful building with a recent makeover! Rooms are fantastic and beds comfy. Great breakfast served by excellent hosts. Superb atmosphere in the bar and was made to feel very welcome. Very Dog friendly in the bar (i think all the locals have one lol).
Great stop over and will not hesitate in returning. P. S park out back instead of main road!

Very warm welcome, fabulous food and great service. Visited for a birthday lunch for mom and it was well worth it. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Fabulous meal! Just what we wanted relaxed quality time and beautifully cooked food. Chicken liver parfait is the best I have tasted and chutney perfect that goes with it. Duck was really tasty and hubby had fish which he really enjoyed. Finished it all off with sticky toffee pudding and panacotta, we couldn't fault a thing!

Absolutely fabulous! We've just spent 2 nights here, enjoying fantastic accommodation and food, and a great atmosphere. Special mention for the great selection of beverages in each room; coffee pod machine and assortment of coffee pods as well as a cafetiere and fresh ground coffee and selection of tea bags. And a flask of fresh milk! We enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant on Friday and a wonderful private dinner with 12 of our friends last night. Fantastic food and service. Thank you Barney and Olivia and the rest of the team.

The best meal out I've had for a long time. We arrived as service was finishing and they sat us and served us with no fuss. The food was delicious. And well priced.

I visited The Talbot Inn for the first time on 22nd October where my brother held the reception for his wedding. Excellent, attentive staff. Beautiful decor. The food was absolutely wonderful. I also stayed there for the night. My room was really lovely. I really cannot recommend The Talbot Inn enough! Thank you to all the staff for making us feel so welcome.

The manager needs to control his language towards the staff, didn't stop for a meal, as I hear him call the waitress a "**cking dog" …

Sitting outside in the sun for a roast was very pleasant, Although service was slow. The beef was delicious, but the vegetables and roast potatoes were lacking in flavour.

Fantastic Sunday Lunch, not cheap but worth the money with a fantastic choice of sweets.

Barney and Olivia Run such an amazing Restaurant and B&B. It is a credit to the local community.

Friendly, warm staff, great food. Modern British menu, with some interesting twists, good wine list. I have not stayed here overnight but the public rooms are comfortable and inviting. Do try it.

A beautiful place to stay. We only stayed the one night and unfortunately didn't eat here apart from breakfast which was lovely. The service we had was very good warm and friendly. I'd definitely come back.

Lots of potential but poor execution. Very nice inside but poor unfriendly service. £15 for 3 courses good value but fish cakes were devoid of any fish and tasteless. Pudding good and Alacarte menu looked ok overall disappointing.
