It was our 30th wedding anniversary today my hubby booked afternoon tea for us. Food was lovely staff friendly but wasn’t asked if we would like tea or coffee just brought us tea we had only got one full cup of tea then less then half for the second cup had to ask more hot water then had to ask for or small spoons for the lemon posset.

Stayed three nights due to work purpose at 3 counties show ground. Very impressed with friendly welcome and cleanliness of room, which was easily sign posted. Both evening meals and breakfast was lovely and well cooked. Good to see COVID procedures are being encouraged
The only downside is limited parking space.

Very friendly, beautiful food, great selection of drinks. All round fantastic.

Had lovely meal at lunch time today in the restaurant — attentive service, great menu choice, all Covid precautions in place, felt very safe & welcome.

Superb food, Service and Atmosphere also if you want to see social distancing etc etc etc done very conscientiously, with a smile, even took your temperature on the way in, this is definitely the place to go! Loved it ❣️

Had a great overnight stay. The view of the Abbey was amazing especially at night as well as the scenery. Staff really friendly and the food was beautiful in the restaurant. Would definitely stay again.

The Mount Pleasant Hotel has become the living heart of our Malvern community. Offering a lively mix of social, community and charity events, it offers something for all tastes whilst retaining class, style yet still a lively, friendly and warm atmosphere. The customer service is second to none and attention to detail on all matters relating to customer choice and individuality. My own involvement has been varied over the years — as a former party retailer, now as a charity and business client and across very many event types, and as a faithful local customer too with my family. I feel I can speak with authority. What a gorgeous local business with great integrity and traditional values, deserving of all our custom.

I’ve eat in this hotel during previous stays whilst working in the area and decided to use the hotel this time also. It’s very clean, relaxed and well located. Food is great be it for dinner or breakfast. Great selection at the bar also. Will definitely stay again.

Food here is amazing went on Friday as part of a large group, excellent service.

Very nice value for money and they are very understaffed as I lost my expensive ring and they founded and they rang as next hour or two to to come and collect it thank you very much for your decency and honesty from Dr and Mrs Tarzi.

Love Happy Hour and your wonderful cocktails, and just dined at the new restaurant, the Mulberry Tree. Delicious food at reasonable prices with great service too!

Booked and paid almost 6 months in advance £140 room B&B. Arrived to incredibly small room, not even large enough for a full size double bed, bathroom so small almost impossible to brush teeth unless you stand with your back to the wall, no space for wash bag. Constant noise from kitchen extraction fan and view into kitchen. Horrible depressing room. When we spoke to reception we were told these were economy rooms. If we had been told this when booking we wouldn't have booked! Definitely NOT worth the money. Stuffy, noisy, depressing, tiny room. Horrible. I so wanted to like it, but can't wait to check out!

We had the bubbles and sharing platter last night it was very good value the staff are all lovely will certainly be going back soon maybe for there Tapas night.

The food was good, particularly the sharing boards but the outstanding service made our evening. Happy hour cocktails are recommended too!

Had our wedding reception here. Casual afternoon tea that became a full on function for 42 people. Brill smiley helpful staff and nothing was too much trouble. Couldn’t fault them. Thank you!

Very friendly staff. We have our old girls reunion here every year and the staff can’t do enough for us. Lovely food. Lovely rooms. What else do you need for a few days break? Thank you to all at Mount Pleasant.

The whole evening was a treat. Service was great. The meal was superb and the ambiance relaxing.

The food was decent but the service was a bit odd. They kept referring to our cousin's 7 year girl old daughter as "the baby", as in "would you like a high chair for the baby? " Which was probably a bit insulting for her. They also asked 3 times if we wanted to change tables. It all seemed a bit like they weren't sure what they were doing.

Lovely setting and surroundings. The service was great and the breakfast plentiful and fresh. The bedrooms are in need of some updating and general maintanance, some of the fixtures were of a poor quality but the overall size of the rooms were good. The bar, lounge and dining areas were clean and tidy and there was plenty of parking available.

Ive been here several times for a course regarding my profession throughout a whole year. The seminar room was ok but our group was only 14 people so I don’t know what will happen in larger groups. The food was ok but not something special. Well cooked but a wide variety, the restaurant cart looks better. It’s a nice place to stay if you want something quiet and to walk around the hills. Malvern is a fine place to walk around and one of the little in Britain with hills and nice beauty at whales.

Only went in for Sunday dinner, found a very nice place to eat and rest, I will be using this place again, staff nice and friendly, with lovely surroundings.

Stayed here overnight but didn't eat in the restaurant. My room (double no 9) was nice, contemporary with a nice shower ensure, but it was at the back of the hotel with a view over the slightly manky courtyard below and up the hill behind — there must be some rooms at the front/sides that look out to the church and beyond to the stunning views. I got to enjoy them from the bar instead though. Most of the bar/restaurant is set for eating, only a couple of sofas a way away from the view otherwise, but I was allowed to sit at a dining table by the window as it was before service. Breakfast was OK — fairly limited choice of fruit/cereal, but the scrambled eggs with very nice smoked salmon was much better. All the staff here were very helpful and friendly, and I'd definitely stay here again.

Absolutley wonderful place. Beautiful setting for a beautiful building. Fantastic friendly staff. Wonderful food and a huge selection of services on offer. From an informal lunch right upto a wedding reception. Can not recommend the mount pleasant enough. Look forward to my next visit.

We had a delicious meal, cooked to perfection with very friendly staff. The atmosphere and surroundings were perfect. Sitting in the window seat opposite the Abbey as the sun set was the icing on the cake. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Was there for a wedding. Great experience. Lovely staff and the location is great.

Just had a scrummy lunch here (an early Mothers Day treat) in the newly refurbished hotel. The food was outstanding — prepared on the premises and presented beautifully. The staff were warm, courteous yet unobtrusive and made sure we had everything. Today we ate in the bar where there was ample room between tables so you don't feel hemmed in, but not spaced too far away either. There was a comfortable number of others dining 'with us' forming a convivial atmosphere. The only downside is that the Mount Pleasant is no longer dog-friendly, even in the bar area despite sensible hard floors. Ernie, my retired assistance dog, who now has pet dog status, hopes that once the new decor is not quite so new, the hotel might reconsider their dog policy. Many visitors to Malvern bring their dogs with them after all. Locals too!

We did not stop at this hotel yesterday, but we wanted to share with you some amazing service by Bally. Me and my friend Julie were in a predicament in finding somewhere to stay for the night. We had booked but we had not noticed we booked the wrong day and the hotel was fully booked. Bally took it upon herself to help and find a place for us by searching and calling hotels for us. She went over and beyond for us and we cannot thank her enough for what she had done. A massive thank you Bally from Jo and Julie.

Had an overnight stay and evening meal at this very nice hotel. The homecooked food was very enjoyable and the accommodation was second to none. Very friendly staff.

Very well presented, great atmosphere, good ales and excellent selection of spirits. Food looked lovely but didn't have time to eat unfortunately.

Very nice place to relax and have a cream tea after looking around Malvern. The Gentleman there was very helpful and even put the fire on for us! Very welcoming.

Beautifully situated at the foot of the Malvern Hills in the attractive town of Great Malvern, the Mount Pleasant Hotel is ideally placed for those staying in the region. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, and free Wi-Fi and parking are available to all guests. Full English breakfast was delicious and pastries, fruit and cereals also available. Restaurant serves high quality food, along with a wide range of drinks at the bar to suit all tastes. Menu slightly on the pricy side for the size of the portions, but friendly staff and impressive service make up for this. Overall had a great stay and would come again.

Beautiful area. Hotel is located in a perfect spot. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was amazing, all the little touches you hope for when staying at a hotel were spot on. I would return.

Though a bit belated really want to say thank you to all the staff concerned from myself for the fabulous CHRISTMAS meal that was prepared on 21st December 2017 for the Worcestershire Independent Group — the food was exceptional, and the customer service second to none. Have now joined the WIN group and will look forward to the lunches. So Happy New Year to you all and thank you again for the excellent service by all your staff.

I recently enjoyed a works Christmas do at the hotel. 3 course meal and a disco. Price was reasonable, food was lovely, service was ok, disco was cheesy and fun, facilities were clean. Had a great time.

Historic hotel in terrific location. Lovely friendly staff, food and drink very nice. Due to the historic nature of the building a little creeky in places but well presented clean and tidy. Overall loved my stay and will stay again.

Lovely family room, good hot shower. Evening meal was beautiful breakfast not quite as good. Sadly no views from the back of the hotel but amazing view from the dining room.

Having always been a lovley looking hotel. The new renovation looks great. They have a really good selection of drinks and very friendly staff.

Nice hotel, didn't stay over, was just attending a party. Room was rather small and narrow and unfortunately the band hired for the party were using speakers so the volume was far too loud!

Undergoing a refurbishment, rooms have been given a terrific overhaul. Reception area is still in-progress. All that is being handled well by staff who are really friendly and helpful. I will go back if in the area again.

Great view over the town and valley beyond if you gave a room at the front. Check in not efficient — they have to fetch a laptop from the office. Showing its age.

Went for carvery — quality food, good service, poor decor and very warm temperature in restaurant detracted however.

Great location to Malvern town, theatre and walking base. Staff were friendly, service good and breakfast was yummy. Some areas need a good clean or new carpets. Room 16 was noisy due to chiller and kitchen extractor fans but clean & comfortable. Well done to all the staff as I couldn't fault their service.

I'm absolutely hooked on the carvery! Having been to every one of them in Worcestershire, this is by far the best. Fabulous views and setting and the staff were wonderful. I can well recommend it.

Had a wonderful stay with good food, friendly staff and a room with the best view overlooking the abbey. Food especially breakfast was amazing.

Arrived at hotel gave us a new room. Overlooked brick wall and had kitchen extractor fan runnin all night outside. Room smells cooking fat and over bed is two skylights which have no blinds so was awake at 4.30 as light came through onto the bed. Had evening meal was dry and overlooked! Breakfast was overlooked and wasn't eaten! Worst hotel we've stayed in for over 30 years of travelling. I did complain they offered me a drink from bar!

Service was lovely and the location is excellent. It would have got five stars if it was a little cheaper!

Very clean and friendly staff and a good position for a walking holiday.

I met with colleagues for a social gathering. We were moved to a smaller room when the group became larger. It was a nice evening.

Had carvery, good was very nice and staff were polite.

The food was nice the dining room was a bit strange and empty, the bar was livelylively, was good value for money.

Friendly staff, excellent outside area with fantastic views. Food reasonably priced with something for everyone. Burger was definitely not out of a freezer!. Toilets could do with a revamp but were clean.

Nice enough place, but the decor is very dated and the rooms really need refitting. Some of the fixtures in the bathroom looked like they were from the 70s, while others were fairly new. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean.

Really lovely staff, very spacious room which included a working telly with a good variety of channels and had very fast working Wi-Fi. Bathroom was clean and tidy, really comfortable bed, front of housr bar staff really friendly and welcoming. And staff respected privacy well, had a really lovely stay:)

This was a terrible hotel. I moved here from The Abbey as I had to extend my stay in Malvern and they were fully booked. I was horrified by my shabby room with a too hard mattress, no internet access, and a telephone which had to be brought up to my room from the front desk. I pity anyone who tried to call the hotel while I was on the phone! The final straw was the toilet which refused to flush! I left the next morning, early.

Very good hotel, staff very helpful, good function room, very good food would recommend to anyone.
