It has been a pity not to have more days to spend in this amazing BB in Salisbury. Rawani and Simon, our hosts, are really nice and friendly. It was like been at home. Breakfast is delicious and the varanda that looks over the garden is lovely. Rooms are cosy and tidy. The Old Rectory is really recommanded!

My partner and I stayed here at the start of the Wiltshire Way cycle ride. This is a first class b and b. Couldn't fault it. Friendly hosts, lovely comfortable beds, clean and spacious rooms of a very high standard. If you're looking for a top b and b in Salisbury you would struggle to beat this.

It’s lovely, well kept home. The hostesses is terrific. Food is good. I’m so glad I had an opportunity to stay there.

Definitely I would recommend the old rectory. Since the first email I exchanged with them I knew it would be lovely. Simon picked me up from the train station and gave me all the information I needed. Ruwani cooked a nice breakfast and gave me some advice too. They both are very friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect, less than 10 minutes walk from the main market square, plenty of restaurants and takeaways on the way and some of them offer 10% discount to the old rectory guests. The room has everything you need and it is a good dice with a soft bed to lie down. Bathroom big enough and plenty of toiletries.

Brilliant stay, in a lovely B&B the beds were incredibly comfortable so slept so well. I must say the complimentary bottle of wine was very welcome and the ‘Breakfast’ was fantastic especially the coffee. Would definitely come back and recommend.

First class accommodation and service. Ruwani and Simon kept in touch with us on our arrival day to ensure we had transport from the train station to the Old Rectory, which was a total luxury as the train station is within 15 min walking distance. Location was excellent — easy walking to central Salisbury but quiet and residential for unwinding a sleeping. En suite room was beautiful with coffee, tea, and biscuits that were a great pick up after a day of exploring. Ruwani cooks a delicious breakfast to order each morning, and we enjoyed chatting with her and Simon when we saw them. If we find ourselves again in Salisbury, we will for sure return.

A lovely warm welcome awaits those who stay here. Breakfast is superb and cooked to oder. Rooms clean and comfy. Little extras provided such as quality coffee in rooms, chocolate s, a choice of toiletries, iron and ironing board. Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts… a home from home.

We stayed five nights at The Old Rectory and were amazed with the warmth, hospitality and helpfulness given by Ruswani and Simon. The breakfast is one of B n B's best in the UK. We dearly apologise for forgetting to return the keys but my husband is sending them back soonest he can. Thank you to Ruswani and Simon; we'll be back when we go that way.

We found this B&B by chance. We were really lucky to stay here. The host was really nice and fun to talk to, would have chatted more but our time here was too short.
The place is just beautiful. The room was very nice and the bed comfortable and I slept really well. The bathroom isn't in the room, but opposite, but is for exclusive use for this room only. The bathroom is modern, great shower, nice fixtures. You wouldn't expect it from the outside.
The breakfast: Fantastic! A nice little winter garden with a buffet of cereals, fruit, yogurt, and so on… a menu for hot breakfast which is prepared fresh with delicious choices.
I could go on and on, but bottom line is: This B&B is top class and I absolutely recommend it! Thank you so much for making our stay in Salisbury extremely comfortable!

This lived up to our hopes in every way. Our hosts were charming and very efficient. Our accommodation and facilties were first class, a light and airy mix of modern and traditional with high quality fixtures and fittings. There was plenty of choice for our delicious and generous breakfasts. We certainly hope to return to The Old Rectory and thoroughly recommend it.

Wonderful place in a quiet setting close to the city center. Room and breakfast were both excellent. The owners, Ruwani and Simon, made dinner reservations for us and took us to and from the train station!

We slept as well as we ever have on their top notch mattresses. The breakfast was memorable. Ruwani made great restaurant recommendations and was tremendously helpful.
