Fantastic friendly pub! Had a lovely steak dinner for my birthday, very enjoyable, thank you! Special thank you to all involved in the recovery of the young cocker spaniel from the Toyota hilux yesterday! It was refreshing to see so many members of the community come together in the rescue! ❤

I've come here for my first proper weekend away in forever and not only is the White Hart a great home base for a lot of local walks, but the staff (and locals) are very friendly!

Really lovely pub food, cooked beautifully and served fast by very friendly staff! Particularly liked the chicken wings and breaded mushrooms. All great value, thanks from a very hungry family!

We had the fish & chips, they were delicious, nice staff comfortable beds.

We have stayed in the white hart many times over the last 3 years Amanda and her team are always welcoming they always remember us and book us into our normal room. My family often stay and also recommend the team highly — Nelson (the Great Dane) is also a big bonus x.

Great place to stay staff are amazing very welcoming and friendly as is the pub itself. Would definatly recommend.

Food and drinks were of decent quality, although they did forget to add the extra cheese to my meal and that I didn't want something which they had left.

Good value food I came here with a service user with disabilities so access was good. My only criticism would be no hooks on back of ladies toilet doors, this is a must for most ladies instead of bags on floors! And the Gents toilet door was propped open and the smell was off-putting when eating, lovely friendly and helpful staff quick service.

Would not stay here again. I'm a builder and I travel around the country all year and I'm not really fussy but this place is a joke the rooms are shoe boxes there only just over 8ft wide an 7ft high there is only a small little window which is covered by stairs so theres no natural light. The TV has got no signal an when it does it keeps breaking up. When we went for breakfast we couldn't get in because you stop in a separate building and the doors to the pub was locked which we was told when we eventually got in that we should have use have had a key to the door and when we told her we didn't have 1 she said not all rooms have both keys so good luck with that 1!

Lovely friendly place to stay. Very helpful. For local. Knowledge of places to visit.

Local old world accommodation. Small but reasonably well equipped single room. Quite expensive and nearly £6 on top for breakfast. Bar food good value old a good range of drink.

Great old 18th century coach house pub B&B. Great beers. Good accommodation.

Don’t bring a cat because there will be no room to swing it. Curtains fell down during the night (thought I was being burgled). They glued up the rail during the day so I was high on the no nails fumes all night (also left the curtains on the bed for me to put back up…). Oh I nearly forgot about the rats raiding the black bag bin outside every night…

Had a lovely lunch beutifal village building stopped in history you know it's a good pub when they still have locals sat at the bar good food nice cider very friendly.

Excellent food at reasonable prices, service excellent, staff very pleasant and helpful good beer selection. Well worth a visit, may even say worth going out of your way.

You couldn't get a better stake deal in ringwood, 2 for one and a bottle of wine! I personally absolutely adore this pub, every time I go in its so welcoming and friendly. The bar staff are so lovely and they will always talk to you if you go in by yourself, the locals are really friendly as well. The only thing is, when you go in this pub, you never want to leave, you wish it was your local :) oh and the best thing about this pub is from Sunday to Thursday beers are cheaper, I've never had a bad pint from here and its the best place to have a great night without spending a fortune. You can't go wrong when your favorite beer is £2.45 a pint!

Rooms are small, aren't as clean as they could be and breakfast is no longer included. Staff are generally nice but have had one be rude to me. Food is standard pub food, nothing to shout home about. Would recommend the star instead but it's usually booked up. Wouldn't stay here unless you don't really have a choice as there are better places around.

Never been before so wasn't sure what to expect. Very friendly, great service, wonderful food. We had a round table for 6 people in a room with subdued lighting which was very pleasing. We will be going again.

Great traditional pub with a very good range of food and drinks whilst also offering accommodation. Ideal location at the Market Square in Ringwood High Street. Hence it's also a good base to explore the New Forest and surrounding areas.

Really nice pub friendly atmosphere. Two open hearth fire places in one room. Thatchers gold on tap; one of my favs. The room looked very nice but windows wouldn't stay open with a small amount of mold on the sill. Main overhead light in the bathroom didn't work. But other than that very good. Massive king size bed and ample parking. Enjoyed it very much.

Went for New year's Eve drinks, nice, cheap, cosy, rooms available too! Nice to have a drink but not go mental.

Stayed here recently for three nights. Lovely old pub good accomodation and good reasonably priced food. Staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely would stay there again.

Room is fine. Breakfast in the morning. Close to plenty of restaurants and serves local pints.

Its a very old pub and the rooms are basic but comfy. Staff are extremely helpful though. Expensive for what you get but a beds a bed.

Two meals for a £10. I had a 10oz gammon steak. Was excellent. Oven chips though but plenty of them. Great looking pub, waŕm and cosy with warm welcoming staff.

Stayed two nights and found the staff friendly and the room clean. Ample teas and coffee packets provided in the room. Location was good for the Southampton boat show and cheaper than nearer Southampton for those days. Hope to stay there next year.

Truly terrifying experience! We booked a family room, during our two night stay we found eleven wasp, the second night we were attacked by two wasp as we were trying to get to sleep. The room was also very dirty, toilet seat broken and chewing gum on the bathroom floor. Whilst my partner was having breakfast (I was held up trying to deal with yet more wasp's) the hotel manager approached him to say breakfast had finished, he explained that I was dealing with the wasp, all she would offer was eggs on toast (I don't eat eggs). I then arrived as she was arguing with my partner in front of other diners (I did mention that it was nor appropriate to discuss this at this time but she carried on), during that argument she let slip that they have had a problem with wasp and had recently had the exterminator in, maybe we should have been told about this when we checked in, and the room should have been checked before we arrived. Very disappointed, wont be staying here again!

Really friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble however the room needed a deep clean. 'Muck' around the taps on the bath, a loose toilet seat, dust on the skirting boards as well in the grills on the top of the radiator. The bed was very comfy but didn't sleep at all well the 2 nights we stayed as the noise from some sort of fan going on and off all night!
The breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked but they do need some little milk jugs as You had to keep getting up to put more milk in your tea.

Being gluten free I asked if I could have chips with my meal yesterday and was told yes and I was in agony all night and today obviously at the time of eating them I thought I was safe but now realising looking through your allergen menu I think I have been cross-contaminated the meal looked good but now I am suffering.

Nice spacious pub, friendly staff and reasonable prices. Located in the center if town, its easy to get to.

I can not believe that a 'main' pub in ringwood town centre can actually get away with the food they are serving I paid £9 for a lasagne and I got no bigger than a £1 microwaved meal sized slice of microwaved dinner in a dish out on a plate with a slight salad garnish.

Lovely staff but just one person doing the bar and restaurant. She did a great job. Should have been more staff on duty for a 24 person booking for dinner.

We had a family room it was nice and big our bed was huge and our son had a nice space just round a corner. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was good too.

Only stopped here for a quick beer. Pleasant enough barmaid, clientele were mixed but seemed friendly and the bar itself was interesting and quirky. There seemed to be far too many 'information packs' scattered around and somehow made the place feel untidy. Menu looked interesting, but slightly odd that I couldn't find a price for Sunday lunch? Maybe I missed it?

We came here as a last resort as at 7:30pm on a Monday evening in July the Elm Tree which is about a mile or so down the road, and the Inn on the Furlong which is just round the corner, were not serving food. We thought it was very good value for money and the staff were polite and helpful. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

The food was awful. Will never return, the service was almost non-existent, with the waitresses almost rude and annoyed that we asked for a meal! They were sold out of a few things, but didn't tell us until the rest of the food came, so it took a LOT longer to get food — It was a good job we were not in a rush, as we were tempted to leave. Please save yourself time and cash — Stay well away from this place! In case your wondering — No, there wasn't any good points.

Didn't have smooth on then the staff couldn't tell me what the equivalent real ale was. Not very good staff.

Very basic. You get what you pay for and I didn't pay much.

Thank you for a pleasant stay. Never stayed in a place, where we felt more at home. Amanda and her "family" took very good care of us in all way's. Recommendable in deed. Say hello to the Captain.
