Loved this venue the moment we saw it — booked it for our Christmas 2019 wedding and had the best day! The staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone was looked after, and that it was a magical day! Thank you Adam Wilson and Melanie for helping us stay sane! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

We got married at burley manor in august, all staff at burley went above and beyond to ensure the day went smoothly! thankyou to everyone who made our day so perfect!

My wife and I got married in the Barn in May 19 and have to say it was the most amazing experience and would recommend it to anyone looking to get married there. From sitting down with the team to organise the finer detail of the day, to the amazing tasting evening for the menu to the actual wedding day where the team worked tirelessly throughout the day to ensure the it went without a hitch, I simply can’t fault the team. Food was absolutely stunning (and we had compliments from professional chefs in our group), wine, champagne, gin bar and drinks were perfect. The wedding service went faultlessly. The team could not do enough to ensure we maximised the use of this stunning venue including using the front of the venue as well as the barn itself and the bar afterwards until 3am as we had pretty much booked every room that evening. I have had a number of people come to me post wedding to tell me that it was best wedding they have ever been to and much of that goes down to the Burley team and the stunning venue. The wedding suite was perfect. The new Barn attached to the old Barn works perfectly. I could not recommend this place enough and yes although if we had got married in a community centre it would have been wonderful, Burley Manor ensured the day was magical from start to finish. Perfection.

We held our wedding at Burley Manor earlier this year. It’s a beautiful location and was absolutely perfect for our day. The team worked so hard to make sure every room looked amazing and everything ran smoothly. The food was great — we went all vegan — and despite almost all of guests not being vegan, everyone commented on the quality (and quantity) of the meals. A special thanks to the new manager Adam who pulled everything together to ensure we had the best possible day.

We chose Burley Manor to get married mainly due to the location and venue and boy are we glad we did. It truly was the most wonderful day — although a few hiccups on the build up to the day the staff have been extremely accommodating and generous. The day was an utter dream and we truly could not have asked for anything better. Freddie is absolutely phenomenal and a true asset to the team as is Gemma who picked up where the previous coordinator had failed to. Freddie went over and above for one of our guests who wasn’t well enough to sit at the meal and ensured personally that he got each course of food just as we did! Very welcoming hotel. We dropped in for pot of tea. Service was excellent and friendly. We would love to stay at this hotel and may do so on next visit to new forest.

My family and I have been to the restaurant twice now and had a terrible experience both times, sorry we gave it a second chance. on both occasions they could not manage to serve the main courses with the vegetables and potatoes. The wait was so long they were cold by the time the mains came and all had to go back. One of our party had completely finished before the rest of us had received the re heated food. The exact same thing happened both times except the second time they bought out the cold food we had just sent back. The restaurant manager blamed the young waiter who had taken our order which we found totally unacceptable, we were offered 10% off our bill but this really did not go far enough for the wasted and stressful time we had. It is such a shame as we would have used the restaurant regularly as we have just moved to the area. We were a party of six so quite manageable.

We feel so lucky to have held our wedding at Burley Manor Barn in July this year. We booked it in 2016 before the Barn was opened and from that point onwards they were fantastic at keeping us in the loop on the progress of the venue and in helping us plan the details of the day.
We visited a number of times to go through the planning with Gina Sanchez (Wedding & Events Manager) and have our tasting session and every time was a wonderful experience due to how great the service and surroundings are at Burley Manor.
When the big day finally arrived, Gina and her team were absolutely superb. They made everything so easy and allowed us to enjoy the whole experience with no interruptions.
Can’t thank them enough for everything they did to make it a perfect day, and were so grateful for how amazing the surroundings were for the day and of course for the photos!
We highly recommend anyone thinking about holding their special day here!

Spent a weekend here as a last minute getaway with my very elderly parents. Reception staff were fabulous and did so much to help. There are ramps they put down over the steps in the corridor leading to the garden suites. Restaurant food was good, however, we had to wait nearly an hour from ordering to our main course arriving. The restaurant wasn’t busy on the Sunday evening. The music being played on speakers was far too loud for elderly hearing aids! Sadly, they couldn’t turn the music down. Lovely views over the deer park. Dog friendly accommodation.

Stayed here for our anniversary and enjoyed a lovely couple of days away from home. A very impressive, almost imposing, hotel, at the end of a long drive. Plenty of easy parking. All the staff we dealt with were friendly, eager to help and very professional. Our room was large, spotlessly clean and had the most wonderful views. Over the large field and forest in front of, and to the west of the hotel. Food was nice, we had both an evening meal and a breakfast. There are local shops and a cider distillery all within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend to anyone looking for a hotel on the edge of the new forest.

Beautiful setting great staff and excellent breakfast. Also had 1 of the best massages I've ever had. We booked through secret escapes then upgraded, I can only say glad I didn't pay full amount on our room which was seriously in need of a make over. Great view though.

We got married at Burley Manor Barn in May and had the most wonderful day, we would recommend the venue to anyone. First of all the venue is beautiful, the barn is such a great space with the bar area and marquee there is plenty of space for additional entertainment too. The main hotel provides a stunning backdrop for drinks and photos. Gina was great at answering all our questions prior to the day (we had a lot! ) and organising everything on the day as well as the rest of the fantastic team. We felt calm and enjoyed the whole day without having to worry about anything. The food is amazing and one of the reasons we booked, loads of our guests said how much they enjoyed it and we were able to tweak the menu to our liking. The evening buffet is as delicious as the sit down meal, as were the canapés. A huge thank you to all the staff who work so hard, we wish we could it all again!

Well the Burley Manor in my opinion has to be one of the finest hotels in the New Forest. We visit regularly for morning coffee or afternoon tea. All the staff make you feel comfortable and are very professional. There is a real calm experience within Burley Manor and really is a charming place. Eating, having cuppa's inside or outside I can assure you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic, 5 stars all the way. Had afternoon tea for family and the food and presentation was great, choice of sweet or savoury a/tea, we had both. Going for lunch soon and will advise on that. Once you have eaten, take a stroll outside to see the herd of deer.

Really great staff and lovely food. We visited with friends and were well looked after. There was an issue with one of the meals and the staff told us this and cooked a new meal from fresh to ensure it was perfect. However this meant that some of the other food ended up being a little cold. The cost of the food was removed from the bill as a result. This didn't detract from the quality of the food or service and would return.

Great location on the border of the New Forest. Clean, spacious rooms with character and great views (my wife and I were upgraded to the honeymoon suite for no extra cost as we stayed mid week). Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Great food and drinks. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here for a week while working nearby and thought it was pretty good. The location and surrounding areas are stunning. The restaurant and food was good but quite a strange menu.

My daughter took me to Burley Manor yesterday for Mothers Day afternoon tea. The lounge was such a comfortable place to spend the afternoon and the tea was really lovely. Sandwiches were a bit different to the norm which was nice and a lovely selection of cakes, there was more than enough and we couldn't eat them all but I would definitely recommend this as a lovely afternoon was had by us all.

Burley manor is set in the very picturesque new forest. We were lucky enough to have a room over looking the deer park. With sumptuous sofas and open fires it's a perfect cosy atmosphere to relax with a gin and tonic (or two). The staff are attentive and friendly and the customer service is second to none. The evening menu holds plenty to choose from and the food was a delight. My only criticism is that I think the breakfast is greatly overprice. Having said that I would recommend a visit and will be returning again myself.

If you have a dog this hotel will meet all your needs and will exceed your expectations. It's extremely dog friendly & the staff can't do enough to help you & your dog feel welcome & comfortable. The food is amazing & definitely worth a try. The spa treatments will make you feel pampered. We are planning to come back.

Great place to stay with a dog. Extremely good restaurant. Not cheap, but if you want to treat yourself and have access to great New Forest walks, definitely consider it.

Hidden gem in a stunning location. Mediterranean food and good choice of drinks. Service is relaxed but very good. We love relaxing in the cosy lounge areas.

Staff were welcoming and attentive. Surroundings were beautiful as were the rooms. Lovely mini getaway destination.

Paul and I got married here in July and although we had exclusive use of the Manor we had our wedding breakfast and evening party with a band in the barn. We chose Burley Manor because of it's beauty, sophistication and fantastic food and staff. I would thoroughly recommend this venue for a wedding.

We recently held our wedding in the barn at Burley Manor and could not be more thrilled and delighted at the way it went. Like most couples we had looked at other venues but found none of them ticked all the boxes or were as helpful and friendly as the team at Burley Manor. From our first meeting with Gina and Lizzie to the day we left three days after our wedding they did everything possible to make our wedding and our stay as enjoyable and memorable as possible. Whenever we asked Gina anything the answer was always: ‘Yes we can do that’ and Lizzie when booking rooms for all our guests made them feel so very special. Alex, the new general manager, was very warm and welcoming to all in a very relaxed but professional way. This attitude filtered down to all his staff – Mike, Vlad and Louis were particularly helpful and friendly. The new head chef, Ben, was so helpful with all our requests for the wedding breakfast (and evening nibbles) and we had an excellent feast which was enjoyed by all. In fact all the food produced by the kitchens over our 5 night stay was fantastic. Burley Manor is set in a stunning location with a fantastic team who made all our guests feel so welcome that many of them have said they will go back. We ourselves are already booked in for our first anniversary but I fully expect we will go back before then.

A beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The staff were friendly and attentive, the rooms were spacious and homely with gorgeous decor, and the food was delicious. Would 100% reccomend and would stay again.

Just first stepping into the reception area, we were greeted by a warm fireplace! The energy of the place is amazing! Very polite, warm and Well coming staff (that includes the room cleaners! ) Very delicious meals and the hotel is set in gorgeous grounds. Our only regret was that we stayed for one night only.

My daughter booked the barn at Burley Manor for her wedding. Wow what a fantastic venue. The staff are so helpful and the service for the meal and drinks was spot on. After the wedding we were booked into the garden room. Again it was fantastic with the room being well equiped. I can not praise them highly enough for making you feel that nothing is too much trouble.

Both my wife and I enjoyed our stay tremendously. The friendly, attentive staff, the spacious and welcoming Garden Suite with its queen sized bed, the food that we just so enjoyed, with its array of flavours, ingredients and skill in preparation and presentation. We certainly will be coming back.

We decided to hold our wedding at Burley and only had about 4 months to hold the requisite meetings and plan everything. The wedding planner Gina was absolutely fantastic on that front and remembered all of our little details e. G. No cucumber in anything. We decided to opt for the exclusive use package and it was lovely having the run of the place to ourselves & see everyone again for breakfast the next morning. By the time my hair and makeup was finished at 12 the place was empty and ready to go. The bridal suite was gorgeous and I had so many compliments on how our guest's rooms were (I heard a couple people say they'd had the best shower of their life at Burley! ). Dinner was lovely — we went for a fillet of beef as the main which was perfectly cooked to medium rare. Service was impeccable throughout the evening — you basically never ever needed to approach the staff as they were keeping an eye and would come up to you as soon as it appeared that you needed something. I would also like to say a special thank you to Alina, the coordinator. She was so on the ball and kept the evening flowing along nicely. Overall we would recommend Burley to anyone — you did a brilliant job guys. Mr & Mrs Beaumont.

Beautiful old house, had beautiful room with a great view. Staff friendly and helpful. Deer and geese lovely to see. Great venue for a wedding.

Charging £20 for a 1pm check in. Never had this before — a real problem as attending a wedding at 3pm with three of us needing to get ready. We also booked all of the rooms for this wedding — our room alone cost £226 for one night. Come on thats not offering the service I would expect from this hotel. I would happily pay if this £20 went to the cleaner.

Beautiful surroundings with lovely views and to wake up to the sight of deer roaming around was amazing.

Fabulous place to stay in a beautiful setting, great food, friendly helpful staff. Wild deer running around in the evening. We turned up 30 mins after breakfast had closed and they still cooked for us… could not recommend more highly.

The building and interior was stunning, the food was dreadful.

Amazing room and wonderful converted manor house. Dinner was excellent and so was breakfast. The only thing that let it down a few times were the staff, no major issues (and they were very friendly), but they couldn't turn off the fire alarm one evening and sometimes it was difficult to get service. Otherwise, perfect!

Rooms recently refurbished and decor is presented to the highest standard. Faultless with amazing country chic taste…

We have between Christmas and new year a wonderful time in the newly renovated "Burley Manor Hotel" spent. Beautiful rooms (are really stylish renovated), and a great Team make for a pleasant stay. The renovation is really well done! For each of the in a quiet environment, a couple of nice days wants to spend! — sounds cheesy? was but so!

Had a fantastic nights stay here. Lovely welcome from staff. Brilliant, newly refurbished room and facilities. Amazing view of the New Forest and deer. Definitely the relaxing weekend we needed. I would love to come back for longer and try out the refurbished restaurant when it's finished. Perfect. Thank you.

Very disappointed. Bad service, extremely shabby and dirty room. Considering the location and tariff of this hotel it needs to improve greatly to compete with standards expected in 2015! We left within 20mins of checking in and went elsewhere.

Very disappointed We booked lunch in advance and half of what was on the meagre menu was unavailable The service was slow. The food that was served was O. K but plates were cold. We were the only people in the restaurant so there was no excuse. This was a birthday celebration. Not what I expected for such a lovely setting.

Substandard rooms, very dated and overpriced. Made a complaint but received NO response. This hotel desperately requires refurbishment.

Needs up dating badly. Holes in carpet in room. Rotten window frames holes in settee too. Nice from the out side. Not worth the money they charge.

Well its our 2nd time staying over the Xmas period and all in all we really like. This is a quirky place to stay as in a bit dated in its decor but it suits the clientele. The manager is always friendly and helpful but the staff are, lets say, unpredictable! The food is generally good but a bit more effort on presentation would really improve things as food quality is so important these days. Our bed is quite poor too, its a king size but low quality which again should be addressed as a good nights sleep is v important. The surroundings are beautiful and the peace and quiet are second to none and is a great base for exploring the New Forest. I feel improvements should be made but overall it is a lovely place to stay at this time of year.

Did not even get there! Booked a weekend break, well in advance. Got a confirmation phone call, all very nice and jolly. A week later a very abrupt phone call saying we could not go as work being done that weekend. Attitude was more or less "tough luck". Complained to the Head Office, was ignored. Needless to say, will not be dealing with them again.

It looked impressive but was very, very disappointing. We booked an afternoon tea for my mother's 70th birthday. It was possibly the worst afternoon tea I've ever had. The presentation was totally lacking: no tablecloth; no nice tiered cake stands; sandwiches poorly presented; it was not even served — we had to go up and help ourselves. There were not enough sandwiches to go round 10 of us (half a sandwich each). When we asked for more we were told the chef had gone. The scones came pre-cut and already spread with jam and cream (not allowing for any personal preferences). They had allowed us half a scone each. And forget having a choice of tea. Builders tea is all there is. Also, they don't have an expresso machine so no lattes or cappucinos! Very poor indeed.
