Really nice hotel tucked away in Amesbury. Breakfast is a highlight and cooked to order. Parking is free however you first need to get a permit from the reception.

The Fairlawn House was great. The breakfast portions are huge and delicious. The bed was comfortable and we slept great. Quaint little place in a quaint little town.

We stayed in Amesbury in order to see Stonehenge. We had a party of four and stayed in one of the King Rooms (Sarum). Upon arrival, were greeted by Keith and given the tour. Keith and family were so very friendly and accommodating! Ours was a quiet room in the back and and even though we stayed over a bank holiday weekend, we didn't hear a peep from any football fans or rebel rousers. We had two foldout beds that were very comfortable, and a super King bed. We enjoyed a delicious English breakfast as well! We would definitely stay there again!

The structure is that of a typical English house, adapted to the reception of guests. Thorough cleaning, comfortable beds and bathrooms. English breakfast very abundant and varied, for those who do not like it is possible to order even a sweet breakfast but not cappuccino. The dining room is really cozy. Very friendly and helpful staff. The receptionist is very friendly and advises tours and tours which have proved really enjoyable.

Lovely B&B at the heart of Amesbury. I stayed on the ground floor B&B room for two nights. The room was very clean and had very two quite nights to sleep well before travelling again. The restaurant is lovely, the menu for breakfast has varieties of dishes to choose. I tried full breakfast and the omelette. They were all delicious. Very you very much for the service. Highly recommended for visitors to stay at this B&B.

My family and I stayed at the Fairlawn House B&B for one night, traveling to Bath. The hotel is very welcoming and picturesque, housed in an old noble house. The breakfast is English, very plentiful and delicious, but you can also find alternative options. We had not planned to see anything else nearby besides Stonehenge and we did not know that there was anything relevant around. Thanks to a very friendly and very nice receptionist we discovered the local beauties and we were able to visit the Salisbury Cathedral. Also the hotel staff were very helpful and polite, offering to send us some clothes we had forgotten in the hotel. I couldn't recommend it enough!

Nice hotel, with very nice and helpful staff, the rooms are nice and clean, the breakfast is very varied, it allows you to consume both sweet and salty.

Very very nice place. Only was here for one night. Brilliant servicd. Clean rooms. Comfy bed. Single rooms are very small. Still good tho. Breakfast was spot on. Very nice food. Excelent price!

What a fantastic hotel! Lovely building, cosy room, great temperature to sleep and a very comfy bed with a good selection of different pillows. Great (free) Wi-Fi. In the middle of Amesbury so close to lots of restaurants, pub and places to walk. Really lovely couple who run the hotel and very friendly staff. Everything is very clean and well thought out. Great breakfast. And best of all THEY RECYCLE! :D very please with my stay. Thanks very much :D.

Very nice place! I really enjoyed my stay here. It was easy to access the hotel and with several pubs and places to eat it was very convenient. The breakfast was quite excellent as well. I really enjoyed the view of the garden from my window.

Great hotel. We had one of the family rooms which was very spacious with really comfy beds. Staff were lovely as well.

Not even slept yet, but had a lovely welcome. Perfect single room for me, nice ensuite and free Wi-Fi. Lovely pub just across the road with good food.

I just checked in about an hour ago and I love it already! Keith met me at the door and took the time to explain everything to me and show me the room. The room itself is beautiful and I love it! Keith is very friendly and personable. He even recommended local places for my hunt for my first British fish and chips with beer!

Lovely welcome on arrival, I spent the night in the loft room it was a really nice room one of the nicest I have stayed infor a while, bed really comfy had a great night sleep. The breakfast in the morning was really great especially the bacon (would love to know where you get it) the service in the morning was really friendly. I would definitely recommend you use this place when you are in the area.

My partner and I came to Amesbury for a Valentine's treat & to visit Stonehenge. The hotel was just lovely. Our room was great, the bed very comfortable and the shower… well we didn't want to get out of it! Smashing breakast & lovely owners. Would definitely stay again.

Fully renovated rooms, huge bathroom, very fast Wi-Fi, perfect location downtown near several dinners and very close to Stonehenge.

Best place in Amesbury, and I should know I was born in the village. Moved away over 30 years ago, but visit regularly to see family. This really is the best there is! The newly refurbished 'lounge' is now room 16 and is just lovely.

Beautiful hotel and wonderful staff. Breakfast was perfect and absolutely the best introduction to the English cooked breakfast I could've hoped for for my American fiancee. See you for an anniversary or two for sure.

The hosts could not be more helpful, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped and the breakfasts are superb.

Location is amazing, 5 mins from Stonehenge. The rooms are fantastic and definitely newly renovated. The staff is incredibly helpful. And it doesn't hurt that its two doors down from the best Indian food.

We lucked out and this was the only place left with a room for the 2012 Solstice event at Stonehenge. My e-mails from the US requesting booking were returned promptly. The B&B is run by a lovely family with an adorable kitty that likes to hang out in the lounge and be petted by visitors. The decor is sumptuous but not overdone and our room was clean, comfortable, and had very new fixtures in the bathroom. Breakfasts here are great. The cellar has been converted and has the appearance of a very chic bistro. In the morning you can load up your plate with pastries, fruit, and a selection of other cold items, and as soon as you're seated they come and take your order for a custom-cooked English breakfast. And they do it right. In the future I hope this place is able to open its bar area in the lounge and the dining area as proper restaurants, as the food, service, and ambience are really fantastic. The B&B is either a thirty minute stroll or a twenty minute brisk walk to Stonehenge. There are lots of other great things in the area, such as the lovely church down the street or the Hawk Conservancy, which is just outside town. All hikes around other Stonehenge monuments such as Woodhenge and the barrows are a short walk from the B&B. Fairlawn House is LGBT-friendly, kid-friendly, green, accommodates dietary needs, and has free Wi-Fi.
