Really lovely staff and tasty food. A really relaxed quiet stay. The female waitress and her service was impeccable and really impressive and I would go as far as to say the best service we have had in the last few years anywhere we have been. Breakfast was tasty but dinner was really nice. Would definitely stay again. My only critique was that the floorspace around one side of bed was limited. But a very minor point. Lovely place. Thank you.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location for Warwick, Stratford upon Avon and Leamington. The food is delicious and the staff are all friendly, eager to please and polite. We loved our stay here.

We got married here and we love it so much. Farmhouse rooms are lovely and quaint, bar staff are very friendly and food is tasty and reasonably priced for a hotel. The village is very pretty to walk around and the hotel is dog friendly too! You can also stay with your dog.

We ordered a festive cream tea for x10 for our office Christmas party. It really was first class and so much of it. The chef told me the beef was local and good, he was absolutely telling the truth. We will be back for more. Thank you.

Huge kudos to the team for stepping up during Lockdown 2.0 — offering really lovely Sunday Lunches (we had one and it was really delicious) and Afternoon Teas — really friendly, welcoming staff.

It is joke for £13 the veg was a disgusting the amount on the plate. Would not feed a bird never again.

Just come back from a 2 night stay with my boyfriend. Lovely lady called Anna checked us in made sure we knew everything we needed to know. Restaurant and bar staff were lovely and so friendly and welcoming. Food was incredible and table service was quick even when the restaurant was busy. Room was lovely an spacious. Room service was very quick and nothing we asked for was too much. Thank you for a lovely stay and will look forward to visiting you again.

Stayed last week just after hotel had reopened. Lovely rural setting, both kids & dog enjoyed exploring the grounds the hotel is set in. Had a lovely spacious garden executive room set away from main hotel. Food was good although the menu was a little limited. Staff very friendly & made us feel most welcome along with the dog! A most enjoyable stay and would highly recommend the location/setting and the quality of the rooms and overall features of the hotel.

Had a great meal would recommend it. Staff were absolutely lovely and the food was great.

We had our wedding here August 23rd and it was brilliant. During all the preparation my (constant) questions were answered with a smile and on the day the staff were excellent, friendly, efficient and attentive and it all ran so smoothly. The space is well designed with the main room, side room, own bar and outside space. We would recommend with no concerns at all.
Many of our guests stayed in the hotel and enjoyed their stays, as did we. We will return!

This place hold a special meaning in our hearts as we married here 6 years ago, but we came today to celebrate my husbands 40th with a Sunday roast. Amazing no complaints at all. Will be back soon.

We had our wedding here on Thursday, the venue is absolutely beautiful and the staff are very well organised and prepared for everything! Our day went perfectly thanks to staff at the Charlecote Pheasant. Would definitely recommend this venue for not just weddings but as a lovely place to visit. Thank you.

We are spending some time at this hotel. We were made very welcome by the staff and nothing seems too much trouble for them. The food is very good. This is a hotel I would recommend without reserve.

My chips were old and reheated awful! But they were happy to bring me some freshly cooked ones. The new young man behind the bar who served us was very pleasant and attentive. His first day well done you.

Worked there for 4 years great staff and venue for weddings and parties great hotel guests and Christmas parties.

Stopped here after a visit to Charlcotte Manor across the road. It was just for refreshment — long drinks on one of the patios. An unusual hotel but a nice feel to it — restraunt was lovely & a good menu reasonable priced. Plenty of parking too.

Went for a lunch time meal. There was 10 in our party, we had not booked ahead but at 12.00 on a Friday, it was not too busy. Lovely old style inside but food largely a disappointment. So many items were off the menu, even pasta! Who does not have a bag of pasta in the cupboard. The roast chicken had frozen peas as the ' seasonal veg', potatoes over done. Fish & chips seemed the best option. This was not a busy evening time dread to think how they cope with that.

Absolutely brilliant building and staff Warning do not purchase food snack etc fromcar park £4.60 for latte and one biscuit. Disgusting! N/T you should be ashamed.

Single room was pretty uninspiring. Small, outdated and dirty. Worn out upholstery, broken blinds, creaking floor and crying baby upstairs, mould in the bathroom, silverfish and loads of dust under the bed. I won't be hurrying to stay again. Why 2 stars not 1? Because breakfast was superb. A buffet affair with a good selection of quality food. The waiters, waitresses and reception staff were excellent. Shame about the room.

Awful. Grubby room, duvet stained & with the stuffing coming out. Hospitality tray half empty. Booked a table for dinner at reception on arrival which wasn’t passed to the restaurant. To top it all there were people running around the building knocking on the room doors & shouting on Sunday afternoon. Reception said it was probably housekeeping when I complained. If it was housekeeping they need sacking. At £154 per night I expected much better.

Room 24 very quaint. Lovely surroundings. More like a converted loft BUT central heating on ALL NIGHT with windows open! Reported broken thermo valves on leaving. Thank goodness only one night without sleep. Despite this the hotel and staff are very good. Full English breakfast was star of our overnighter!

Really enjoyed having dinner and drinks here. The garden is very picturesque with a nice view and the building is spacious. Food we had was lovely, and came quickly. Will finally be coming again!

Poor service and very cold. But it was the coldest weekend of the year. Beautiful grounds but little English spoken or understood.

Staff were friendly, helpful and obliging. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. No problem with cleanliness.

We stayed in a beautiful ground floor room. Modern and clean and very spacious 4 poster bed… beautiful fireplace and armchairs. We had our evening meal in our room! Large bathroom with shower. Two baths and two basins Our view opposite was one end of charlecote park. Beautiful.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Lovely village n hotel in large grounds. ALL the staff were friendly n smiling, obviously they all work together as a group. Many thanks to Dale the Manager for his help.

I arrange a surprised meal for 21 people at the Charlecote Pheasant for my mother's 60th birthday. The staff were really friendly and helpful and sat us on 2 tables close to each other. The restaurant and bar are very clean and well presented and the drinks were reasonably priced. Our food orders were taken swiftly and arrived not longer after. Everyone seemed happy with their meals and said they were very impressed with the venue. Really happy with our experience at the Charlecote Pheasant and would definitely recommend.

Wonderful Christmas break of four days. Everything was perfect could not fault anything. Everything first class full of compliments to management and staff. Could not have been better.

Had a fabulous couple of days staying at the charlecote. Staff were lovely nothing were to much for them. Food was fantastic what more can I say. Definitely coming back later on in the year. Thanks for our lovely stay xx.

Had a fantastic five days here. Food was great. Wish we'd upgraded to a better room but very comfortable. Only one radiator in room so quite cold. Towel hook on back of bathroom door and toilet roll holder hanging off. Need a bit of entertainment in the evening. Apart from these niggles we had a fantastic time and the staff were all lovely and we will definitely go back
Beautiful surroundings. Need a bit of information in Reception about excursions. No one knew what times to meet.

Booked for a Christmas party meal. Starter (pate) was good but only 3 biscuits so had to use the bread roll to finish it. Main course was roast beef, very thin slices full of gristle, roast potatoes were incredibly dry so I did not eat most of the main. Also the horse radish sauce and vegetables arrived just before we finished the main and the vegetables were so over cooked that the sprouts were grey and mushy. On a plus note the service was good so could not fault that, apart from the late delivery of the sauce and vegetables, shame about the food.

Adequate 3 star hotel. Breakfast good FEB but evening meal poor. Diver sole cold and slow cooked lamb shank a disaster — couldn't cut it with knife and returned to kitchen, never to be seen again. Staff great.

Hi… . This place was absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous grounds and views. A very informative film at the start of the day and lots if places to sit and reflect. We had a delicious carvery at the hotel restaurant. A great day out.

An entertaining experience! Good food once we got it. Hotel rooms 9 & 10 desperately need some tlc.

None of the information about this hotel is clear or accurate. Parking varies from free to £8 per day depending on which website you check. There is no air con — room is extremely hot and the hearing cannot be turned off! Expensive for a 3* hotel.

Working away so only a one night stay. Its an old converted farm house and outbuildings located in a nice little village, not all the rooms are located in the same building but no problem there, its also located next door to a national trust park with house and gardens, so good if you want a stroll. Unfortunately it started off badly. The walls between the rooms must be made a paper, if I wanted to I could of joined the phone call in the next room, as I could clearly hear the caller and the recipient (must of been on loud speaker). So lets have a shower before my meal… no I wont no hot water. Resorted to boiling a kettle and having a sink wash. I wasn't charged for the meal due to the issue with the water, the food was very nice and the service was quick and friendly. Overall the stay was ok, the rooms in the other buildings may be better but I can only base my review on the one I was given. Would I stay again, maybe.

I was staying here for work so can only comment on the room & reception staff as I ate elsewhere. Initial impression was good, however that changed when the staff tried to charge me for my room that was being paid for by my employer! My room was large and clean — perfectly fine for a short stay. The aircon was not working which was disappointing as the room was quite warm for sleeping and either the walls are very thin or I had the loudest speaking person in the room next to me. Finally, smokers tend to use the outside immediately before the entrance to smoke as it's undercover. It was extremely unpleasent walking through their smoke when leaving the building and it also means that whiffs of smoke drift into the rooms that face that side (like mine did). Overall it's ok, but I wouldn't choose to stay here again.

How hotels should be run! Was a very busy evening in the restaurant but we still had top notch service by superb staff. Top quality food, excellent room & felt I must mention the real gentlemen on reception. Could not fault, thank you.

Booked at the last minute, great price for a good sized room overlooking the tennis court, lovely greeting on reception on arrival, explained where our room was and timings for meals. Fabulous breakfast served by helpful and courteous staff, would strongly recommend and visit again. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant.

Had weekend break here to visit Stratford nice and quiet food good with good service. But place lacked atmosphere.

Historic building on the edge of a large national trust property. Now a good sized hotel.

Very handy for Stratford (even a bus service) and lovely Charlecote Manor (just opposite). Excellent breakfast and perfectly acceptable dinner. Nice areas to sit out. Bedrooms and all other facilities good. Reception staff are very helpful.

An enjoyable stay. A very relaxed feeling about the hotel. Good location for any budding cyclists. I would visit again.

A pleasant hotel in rural Warwickshire. Rooms vary in quality — recently mine was too warm and smaller compared to previous visits — but I'd happily stay again. Breakfast good, staff welcoming.

Service was fantastic. Barmen looked a little grumpy, But I guess you get that when 95% of the clientele look like a scene from cocoon. Room was very nice, a good size and clean. Bathroom could do with a bit of updating but nothing that would put me off staying again. Bar was very nice and low lit. All in all very good.

Beautiful location only 10 minutes from Stratford upon Avon, friendly helpful staff, spacious hotel room. We will definitely return.

It's a pleasent setting and in the country the food is great the staff are very helpful and friendly. There is a N. T. Next to it by the same name, it's well worth a visit. It's not to far from Stratford upon Avon. Plentiful scenery all around beautiful area.

Massive rooms and friendly staff in a nice country setting. Wi-Fi very slow, but not a problem. the pub menu is not available in the restaurant witch caught us out but overall very good.

Fantastic hotel'nice location friendly service, very good food I would totally recommend it.

Food is excellent it is a shame there were no proper vegables like carrots or cauliflower there were only a tomato or mashed potato.
