Amazing place, rich in history. The brothers are delightful. And the cakes were brilliant!

Gorgeous old buildings with lovely staff. Fair price for what you see.

Very welcoming staff who live on site. Good historical place to visit, nice gardens, great hall, church and Bretherens kitchen/cafe.

Lovely home cooked food. Superb afternoon tea and staff. They even found a cushion for my 85 year old mother.

Full of history. Friendly staff who were very knowledgeable. Beautiful gardens where I had the chance to hold a falcon! Brilliant opportunity. X x.

Lovely hospital, kept almost exactly how it was all those years ago. The brothers who now live there and open up their home are a wealth of knowledge and love to tell you about the history. Brilliant rainy day out!

I got married here in 2009 and was perfect in every way wonderful room and courtyard. Fascinating history and residents. I would recommend to anyone as a venue.

Had lunch and a wander round yesterday. The tomato n fennel soup was really good. I got the recipe but the chef said he might have to kill me now. Cake excellent. Lovely ex service men share the history of this really interesting medieval place.

Well worth a visit. We've lived in Warwick for 14 years and never visited… until a heritage Day (free entry) came along. Interesting building to visit. Tea room of you're in need of refreshment. Nice (small) garden as well.

Fine hotel, not a bad price but was a slight bit of mold/damp in our room. Survived for the one night we were there but wouldn't want to stay longer without moving rooms.

It was okay… The downstairs was nice enough but as soon as you go upstairs the decor becomes is ragged we had to check that we had not taken a wrong tern into the service area. The room was not heated and since it was over the coach way had 2 external walls and external floor an ceiling, which ment it got very cold at night. We asked twice at reception for the heating to be turned on but the room was still cold in the morning… Breakfast and staff were nice though.

Reception and lounge is nice but when you go upstairs it becomes very dingy. The rooms are poorly maintained and are not cleaned properly. My advise is look elsewhere.

It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, it was dirty and the bed was so uncomfortable the springs were coming through. We left and got our money back and stayed at Warwick premier inn which was very clean and comfortable.

Hotel looked lovely, staff very polite. Breakfast was everything I could ask for. Only down fall was that being an old building the floors were very creaky and the walls were paper thin as we could hear everything the people next door were doing which kept us up most of the night.

Once you get past the facade of the main rooms, the corridors and bedrooms become very dingy. Our room for example, was a dive with rough plasterwork repair to the ceiling and old furnishings throughout. The wallpaper hadn't been changed for more than a decade as it had discoloured. The same with the carpet. The only saving grace, was that it was a clean bed and bathroom/Toilet. Ironically the hotel was full, probably because of the low prices. My advice is, if you want cheap and dingy then this is the place for you. A true Fawlty Towers.

Very disappointed with the whole place, firstly they doubled booked our room, was then invited to have a complementary drink from the bar to find out none of the pumps were working. Once in the room was like waking in to a time warp to the mid 70's, they had one of the smallest TV's i'd ever seen then to add to my disappointment the TV didn't work and was told it would be fixed the next day which was no good for me as we were only staying the one night. I then ventured to the bathroom to find someone previously in the room before me had urinated on the floor and it had been overlooked and not cleaned up. My Colleague had booked an executive suit to find out the difference in the two rooms was he had no urine on the floor and the TV had been up graded to a 28" screen. Overall STAY AWAY!

The hotel itself is fine, but the car park behind is a rip off! They send you fines of 100 GBP if you are just a few minutes over the time. We had a lovely day in Warwick, but thanks to the sharks hired by the hotel, it left a very bitter after taste. Thank you.

The worst hotel I have stayed in ever! Such a shame for such a beautiful place.

This hotel is perfectly situated for anywhere you want to go in Warwick, as it is within walking distance of the Castle and the main town. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful from the moment we arrived. Our room was adequately and comfortably furnished. The decoration was a little bit tired, but it was clean. On the hottest day of the year, we were very happy to find that the hotel had thoughtfully provided a free standing fan in the room, which helped with a comfortable night's sleep. Breakfast was very good with a great choice of food and drinks on offer. Would have liked some fresh tomatoes, rather than tinned, but that is just my taste! Our only complaint was that we couldn't get any really hot water from the shower. At best it was tepid, but as the weather was very hot, we didn't find this too distressing! On the whole, a very pleasant stay.

Informative and fun the kids loved it and learnt a fair bit too.

This hotel has set itself a low standard and failed to achieve it. Dirty towel on floor of room on entering. Very tatty bath/shower room. Shower rose needed cleaning and no hot water in shower. Breakfast very poor and tinned tomatoes, very tired looking coissant and coffee served tepid. It wasn't poor — fair, it was poor. Certainly not to be recommended.

A contribution in German! The first impression is decisive: bad! Unmotivated unprofessional front Desk! For 10 nights they gave me a mini room with a double bed. Window to the Parking lot. On the back of the house, the sewer lines were brought down, and the were vented to a "chimney". Thus, it was only to Sleep with the window closed, otherwise it smelled in the room. A vacuum cleaner the cleaning staff did not know. Continental breakfast: it seems as if the hotel owner would have never been in a continental Hotel. The award of three stars seems to be here, too, coincidentally. Permanent Crack of the heating tubes are screwed a sleep. Medieval fittings in the bathroom; mixer taps the Redcoats have heard nothing yet. In General, the following applies: you choose the Hotel with great care.
