One of the best B&Bs I have been to! The service is second to none and the house is simply beautiful… Tucked away, it's quiet & peaceful yet just a two minute walk into the village… I wish I stayed longer! ;-)

Very comfortable b&b tucked out of the way in Shipston. The room was excellent, very comfortable and nothing was too much for Bridget. She made recommendations for places to eat and made reservations for us. A great base to cycle the Cotswolds.

From the first few steps through the gate into the secluded, peaceful garden, the whole experience at The Old Kiln House was amazing. Bridget is the perfect hostess, nothing too much trouble and always has time to chat despite her busy schedule. We stayed three nights in June with our Canadian cousin who enjoyed the whole experience. Thoroughly recommend.

Brigitte and her husband were wonderful hosts. Brigitte greeted us with her cute dog Charlie when we got to Kiln House with a glass of wine and some yummy chips. We had an interesting little chat with her and she let us know which places to visit around the area such as Borton on the Water, the restaurant The Old Georgetown. She made sure everything was confortable for us. The place is super charming & discreet, the beds were very confortable, the heating was perfect … and breakfast in the morning has a vegetarian option, which I very much appreciated. It was delicious and cooked with love! They really went out of their way to make us feel right at home while being on vacation! We recommend this place to anyone who is visiting the area :) Thank you again for everything! :)

We stayed at this absolutely beautiful B&B for our 10 year wedding anniversary, everything about this beautiful B&B is so perfect. It is so beautifully decorated and just oozes luxury. Bridget is an amazing hostess, who couldn't of made our stay feel more welcome. We just cannot recommend staying here enough, we loved every minute of it.

We had an amazing experience staying at the Old Kiln House. Bridget and Patrick were fantastic hosts and their attention to detail — both with the breakfast and in the Sailsbury room where we stayed was amazing — we will definitely return — thank you very much for making our stay so enjoyable!

I would have no hesitation in recommending The Old Kiln House at Shipston-on-Stour — it is fantastic! Hosts Bridget and Patrick (and Charlie the dog) are so welcoming and the house is beautifully appointed. It's like a home away from home but with the added 5 star luxury. Each of the bedrooms and bathrooms have their own unique style, are quite roomy yet have a cosy feel, and the beds are so comfortable! The breakfast is worth getting out of bed for — a variety of great local produce which sets you up for a day of exploring the Cotswolds. Thanks Bridget and Patrick for making the weekend such an enjoyable experience. It was lovely to meet you both. We'll definitely be back.

The Old Kiln House is really an exceptional Bed and Breakfast. I have travelled a lot and stayed in many places for both business and pleasure and this must be one of the best. Reading the reviews, I was a little sceptical because they are so good but our experience was exceptional. The house is a fascinating mixture of new and old (it is apparently from the 18th century) and Bridget and Patrick have done an excellent job of complimenting the house with the interiors. The breakfast is really special and I really wished I could take Charlie the dog home with me. Shipston is also a great base to explore Stratford upon Avon and the Cotswolds. We have previously stayed in Stratford but I believe that Shipston is a much better base as Stratford is very busy and accommodation in the same price bracket nowhere matches The Old Kiln House. We have already planned our next stay.
