We booked for my mums 80th birthday — the staff were so helpful when organising it. The food was delicious, the service was great and we weren’t made to feel like we needed to rush to free up the tables. Mum had a lovely time which was obviously important, as did family and friends. Would highly recommend!

Stopped here for a night after Warwick races. Very comfortable room for the night. Food beautifully cooked. Nice selection of wines. Staff very friendly and efficient. What’s not to like. Prices very reasonable too.

We just dropped in for a drink on our way home from Hatton Locks. This is a beautiful pub with a fine selection of drinks. We will return for food as the meals looked excellent. Also looking forward to a spot of beer-gardening here!

Would definitely recommend we just had a meal here, food was lovely couldn’t fault it, we had the wild Boar and Apple burger it was fab, chips were the best ever and the onion rings were amazing. Staff were lovely we will certainly be back.

Not sure what to recommend first the staff or the food. We have just spent 3 nights here and ate in the restaurant each night trying new things off the menu. Between 3 of us we can not fault the food or the staff. Very accommodating and pleasant staff and food is out of this world. Out of my 3 evening meals I can highly recommend the duck. However of all the dishes the 3 of us have sampled not one meal was bad. Thank you so much for making our stay fantastic.

We haven’t stayed in the hotel, but we have dined there twice now in the past few weeks. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and though the prices may be a little high, this is an independent hotel/restaurant and not part of a chain, so to be expected I think. Highly recommend it.

Third time staying at The Falcon every time has been great. The rooms are lovely with the most comfortable beds. The staff are amazingly friendly and happy to help. Breakfast has been delicious with every stay. Only had dinner on one stay and the food was amazing. Seated in a quieter area of the restaurant so was more romantic than been around families/groups. Would highly recommend and looking forward to our next stay.

Top notch food and service. Called in on the off chance and was not disappointed by the service or the food. Thank you to Sam and Oriana for the friendly welcome, and thank you to the chef the lovely three course meal (a sublime red velvet cheesecake for dessert)

Food was great, staff pleasant and helpful and the bill at the end wasn't extortionate :) Will definitely visit again.

The Pub 'is wonderful!
The food is all cooked in the pub on time, the desserts can be ordered mid-day with coffee, the interior is very well-kept super stylish, great for family dinners, dogs are allowed and the staff are super friendly!

I love this place… my new husband & I had our reception here in Sept 2018 We & all our guests incl some that stayed over couldn’t fault it! Fantastic service with excellent, friendly staff, fabulous food & brilliant atmosphere! Highly recommended. So good we’re here again to celebrate my Birthday xx.

Made to feel welcome and although we had not booked and it was very busy a table was soon made up for us. Delicious Sunday Lunch served by very pleasant staff.

Nice welcoming and comfortable. The log fire when lit would be a bonus and perfect for those chilly winter evenings.
The menue looked good and we both had steak perfectly cooked to our individual taste. The only criticism is an additional mushroom and peas be added plus a choice of some sauces included. Ie bernais, garlic, peppercorn etc. Desert followed with two realy nice lemon meringue pie that we both enjoyed. The cost including a glass of wine each came out slighty higher than we have paid elsewhere for a comparable meal and venue.
We will be back again as this was our first visit and reccomend The Falcon.

Generally, a good place to stay. Pleasant 'motel' style rooms, comfortable and well equipped. Only quibble, it seems to be run for the management rather than the customer. Don't arrive a minute late, and expect a meal! Otherwise, fine. Pleasant staff. Easy parking.

Went here for lunch. Extensive menu and food is very good. A bit slow to come to the table though. Pleasant staff.

Used The Falcon as a lodging and as a restaurant. As an accommodation: rooms were adequate, nothing overly exciting. The window was a bit strange — seem to remember some tape or way of holding it together. Somewhat of a mish mash of furniture but the price of the room was fair. The breakfast was tasty — enjoyed that and the staff I came across were friendly and helpful. As a restaurant some of the food we had was amazing and some a bit bland — so on the fence whether to say it was good or bad. Some of the beer is quite expensive but to end on a positive the music they played was very up to date. Like you're in a club but not sure if the older generation would appreciate those tunes.

Poor experience. The food is not high-end. Stayed overnight July 2018. Rooms in converted barn or so. Tiny, pokey and not quite there. Couple of wee touches like the tatty toilet seat could be improved upon (room1). Worst of all there was no one to open up for breakfast (some story about a flat tyre which may well have been true). No apology forthcoming till we mentioned it at check-out. Cost us an hour setting off on our journey to Glasgow. This place is aspiring towards the high-end country pub/hotel… not quite achieving that target. Maybe search out something else.

We booked a meal here and we had fairly high expectations due to the highly priced menu (for a pub).
I ordered surf & turf at £17.99 and my wife had Haddock and chips at £12.99.
Both meals were incredibly small, no bigger than starters.
The surf and turf had a small square of steak (supposedly 4oz but not a chance it was) with two tiny monkfish in Ham wraps — about the size of a 'pig in blanket' and ONE prawn… supposedly a king prawn but again I'd question that.
My wife's h…addock & chips was also extremely disappointing — about half the size and quality of the exact same meal at our local pub in Balsall Common.
We did order dessert — only because we were both still very hungry and we went for the Baileys cheesecake… the portion was ok and the quality was ok but there was no taste of any Baileys in it.
One positive was the young girl who served us, she was friendly and pleasant.
I've scored this 2* overall but I'd break it down like this…

Value for money 1* One further complaint — We were sat at our table in the restaurant by the open walkway that leads to the bar. This meant we had to eat our food 4 foot away from a smelly barking dog. Surely this shouldn't have been allowed on hygiene reasons — rather than do anything about this, the dog was brought an ice cream container full of water for it to slurp.

Stunning location, fabulous food, clean and comfy accommodation! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, we highly recommend staying here.

The service was OK here but the food is very overpriced for the amount and quality. I ordered fillet steak at £24 and the 2 x 3oz pieces were just very small & thin, also the charcoal flavour was overwhelming. The extra sauce was no more than a couple of tbsps worth and the cost was an extra £2.50. My other half had the lamb at £18.95 and said the flavour was non existent! So, for what was a pretty expensive meal we both left feeling disappointed and won’t be returning to the Falcon. I tried to feed this back to the waitress but it did seem there was very little focus on the diners experience so left without doing so! I think the quality vs price needs looking at compared to other restaurants in the area.

Great gastropub food near our offices and we often meet here with staff and clients for a freshly cooked lunch. Takes slightly longer but worth the wait! Outside dining with heated porch and lovely staff. The menu is on point and at a good price!

Lovely environment for a quiet pint. The chap behind the bar is always very welcoming and makes he experience feel personal by greeting you every time!

Lovely roast just a shame the sauces were not offered as not would have made Lucy all the more lovely. Well worth a visit but the mixed roast was a bit short on meat. Otherwise a lovely lunch. Oh and I only wish white pepper was on the table. It seems black pepper is the way to go… not! Lovely staff and ambience was lovely.

We went to The Falcon for lunch with old friends, to have a chat and catch up. We all opted for the three course Light Lunch menu and were not disappointed. The food was novel and delicious. The service was good. We left happy and contented.

Great value rooms and the pub is very nice as well. Food was excellent and the staff very friendly. The road by the hotel is quite busy so noise might be a problem for light sleepers.

We went to the Falcon again recently having booked a table for the wife's birthday. Just before we arrived a large party had turned up late and caused a chain of delays. The manager and staff members were very transparent and apologetic about it informing us of a potential long delays. As it happened the delay wasn't very long but the staff looked after us anyway. As always the food was delicious and we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it.

Very nice inside and lovely food but the service to the table was not very good. The drinks after the meal failed to arrive and we left without them in the end.

Lovely friendly, welcoming staff who are very attentive and professional too and fantastic food. Lovely warm atmosphere and cosy quaint rooms. Thoughey recommended it and will definitely come again. Only advise is bring earplugs as traffic noise is bad despite the extra glazing.

Great place to stay with a good selection of drinks in the bar manned by very friendly staff. The food was first rate with some very good house wine. Possibly one of best value places we have stayed in with an excellent breakfast. The slight downside would be the road noise. It does reduce significantly at night.

Just had lunch here and it was excellent. The food, the drink, the service were all superb. We will be going back.

We had a Great evening at the Falcon. We were very lucky to get a quiet corner where we could "Let loose" Our two year old. Very friendly staff. Great pub food. We had the chicken, burger and the vegi Curry. Exeter mess and cake as dessert. Tasty!

The beer is good, the place is well decorated and quite 'modern chic'. The prices are middle range. Unfortunately the night we went I was a little let down as they tried to cook the scotch egg starter twice and it was underdone both times (the pork meat) so couldn't be eaten. The staff, however, were excellent in dealing with the situation, couldn't be apologetic enough and it got sorted very quickly. Mistakes can happen (it was a new menu apparently) but how they dealt with it will have me revisiting.

We have just spent 3 nights at the Falcon. This is the first time we have been here and will definitely return. The bonus for us is that they are also dog friendly so we could bring Scrappy with us. Rooms were clean, staff are very pleasant and food was excellent.

Arrived after a long day at Hatton Country World desperate for some food and drinks. We rang ahead to check availability and they organised a table for us. Drinks were reasonably priced and service was quick. Some had the Sunday roast and others the normal main meals. Very happy with the food and price. Definitely recommend and will visit again next time we're at Hatton.

Excellent restaurant/pub with rooms. The rooms are across from the main building and furnished to a high standard. Have eaten at the restaurant/pub for dinner and breakfast. Excellent choice for dinner and well worth the money. Would highly recommend a visit.

This place is very good. The downside — next to quite a busy road. But everything else is a plus. A great welcome, very nicely fitted rooms, staff who really embrace the meaning of service, a nice cosy pub+ decor and food that ticks all the right boxes — tasty, fresh and not in the least formulaic. You can book for a stay or just a meal with confidence.

I love this bar/restaurant and it's the place I always bring friends to for a meal. Lovely food. Friendly staff. Lovely grounds with an under cover outside seating are which is beautiful all year round. Love it!

Stayed last night as part of our wedding anniversary and all I can say is WOW could not fault the accommodation very clean we had evening meal highly recommend the fish and chips it was awesome very much compliments to the chef we also had breakfast which was equally enjoyable the staff were very polite and helpful will definitely be returning and highly recommend.

The perfect country pub, great food and brilliant service. There is a huge outdoor seating area, perfect for the summer and a warm and cosy open fire for the winter. Dog friendly.

Friendly staff, great food and lovely location.

Arrived at 9.10pm and was told the restaurant closed at 9pm with no leeway, so we went into Warwick and spent our £180 at a lively Thai restaurant instead. Having rushed our meal to get back for 10.50pm and last orders we found all lights turned off and the two bar staff advised that the bar closes "just before 11". rooms and breakfast very nice but traffic noise very loud as Windows needed to be open due to hot temperature.

Passing through on our way home after a wedding down south, and what a find this place is!
Friendly staff, lovely modern pub and the food was fantastic, lovely starters & 2 of us had the Sunday lunch the roast beef melted in your mouth & my son had fish & chips all really nice food & a lovely outside drinking / eating area too if you prefer to eat outside on sunny days, we will definitely be back when travelling down south!

We came here for a Sunday lunch as we like visiting dog friendly pubs. We were not disappointed and this is our favourite dog friendly pub by far. We had a fab waitress (Georgie) and were made to feel so welcome. You were the first pub to offer a bowl of water for our little dog too. Fab food and great service. Shall definitely be back!
