This place could be great but it was a disgrace. When we arrived we had been sent no info about checking in. The only person available was very helpful but had no information about how to access our room. The only person who knew the information was on a channel ferry! This person eventually phoned to tell us the room number and key code. We had had to wait over an hour. Why on earth was this information not available in the office?
The facilities were as described but we were amazed to find what was not there. No kitchen sink, no plates, bowls or glasses and, incredibly, no cutlery. We improvised and made a meal then turned on the television to watch the news. The TV signal was hopeless. It was impossible to watch. This was the last straw, totally contemptuous of guest comfort.
Up to this point, we had no internet but, as I searched in vain for some sort of heating control to turn the towel rail on, I noticed a wooden sign, high on the wall beside the sink, on which the Wi-Fi password was displayed and I was able to log in to a network obscurely named "home".
Whoever is in charge here, they need to have a good look at their admin system. They also need to ask themselves how many people travel carrying cutlery and plates, etc.
It should have been wonderful but it was a disgrace.
