We had a lovely 3 night break here, staff were friendly and helpful, food excellent, we stayed in a beautiful room overlooking the grounds, will definitely be returning.

Stunning venue and lovely staff who were all friendly and helpful. Totally recommend this hotel. The staff made us feel very welcome and couldn't do enough to make sure we had a lovely time, which we most certainly did. Thank you all again.

We have just come back from a 2 night stay and had an amazing time. The staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We ate in the restaurant on one of the evenings and had a very enjoyable meal and our daughter absolutely loved the pool! Thank you to the team at Ettington Park.

We had our Wedding here Aug 2021 and it truly was magical! The whole team at Ettington are amazing, helpful, friendly although professional at the same time and everything went perfectly! The hotel and grounds are stunning! It all made for the most amazing day, thank you to everyone at Ettington!

What an amazingly fabulous place for our wedding day! Janet and Kirbie managed to give us the most beautiful wedding with only 10 days notice after our wedding got cancelled abroad for a third time…. Everyone was so helpful and the food and service was wonderful. We can never thank you enough for giving us the wedding (not quite of our dreams! ) but definitely the second best we could ever have wised for. Thank you ❤️

Ettington Park Hotel hosted my wedding weekend and we could not have asked for a better service. All of the staff went above and beyond to make our weekend very special, and were incredibly accomodating especially for guests that had accessibility issues. Not only are the grounds, the building and the rooms grand and beautiful but we have found them very accessible. We hope to visit again soon.

One of our favourite hotels when open but during lockdown it has lovely grounds to walk around with a great service of hot drinks and cakes etc.

Had the loveliest walk with husband, daughter and dog last week during my 'staycation' week off work. Also went to Blenheim and can honestly say Ettington was nicer. Also had a lovely coffee and cake and the dog had a special treat too! We will be returning — thank you!

One Night stay at this wonderful hotel with my 18 month old and I can't recommend this amazing place enough. We had a marvellous time, enjoyed the spacious room In this beautiful historic place and had fun in the pool. Breakfast was delicious. All the staff from concierge to waiting staff and cleaner were extremely professional and friendly. They helped me with my luggage and engaged with my little one who had a fabulous time. I can't fault anything and just wish we could have stayed longer. I hope we will come back In the near future. Thank you all again.

We had our wedding here and it was absolutely amazing. Staffs are so thoughtful especially need to say a big big thank you to Angie We feel the warm and care from her. The atmosphere here is amazing. The staff are lovely, the food is great, the rooms are so quiet. The buildings are fabulous.

As soon as I walked up to Ettington Park I fell in love with Ettington straight away. They made us feel truly special from the start. Becky was absolutely brilliant and made the planning for our day easy and did everything tp make sure our day was truly incredible. On the wedding day everything ran so smoothly and we can't thank Cliff enough for going out of his way to make our wedding day perfect. It was an incredible day thanks to all the staff but especially Cliff and Becky. We had excusive use of the venue and had our ceremony outside in the Bell Tower ehich was beautiful. The most beautiful surroundings, attentive staff, delivering food of excellent quality. I enjoyed a lovely champagne afternoon tea sat outside in glorious sunshine. I can highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel that goes the extra mile. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and always great to be around. The extra touches were great I loved being able to read about the history, ghost stories and how they have tryed to make everything sustainable. Comfy beds and delicious food. Can't fault anything.

From the moment we walked through the gorgeous front door we were made to feel welcome and treated as though nothing would be too much trouble. Our room was large, beautifully furnished and warm! We had an excellent afternoon tea, again nothing was too much trouble and we left the restaurant suitably replete! The grounds are lovely to stroll round with a chapel ruin in them. The bed was comfortable and the pillow fabulous! Breakfast the next morning was also faultless. The staff were all efficient, pleasant and friendly; and when I asked if I could buy one of the pillows because it was so good, the manager gave it to me! We would highly recommend this loveky hotel and will definitely return!

Had my wedding here in August and it’s was so perfect. The staff, food, our wedding planner Chloe were outstanding and couldn’t do enough for us. I will always hold a special place in my for Ettington Park and I can’t wait to revisit very soon.

My husband and I were married at Ettington Park almost 5 years ago. I recently reached out to arrange a lunch there for our friends & family for our anniversary in May & the response has been eye watering. I am requesting to book a lunch for 40 people, 9 months in advance. As this date might possibly be requested by someone else there is a minimum spend of £7200 required, and reservation of a minimum of 12 bedrooms at £170 each. Whoever heard of having to book bedrooms somewhere just to be able to book lunch there? They obviously do not want repeat business. If this is the service provided after you spend over £40, 000 with them on your wedding be very cautious, it leaves a very bitter taste in your mouth.

We always enjoy providing wedding entertainment at Ettington Park Hotel. The Long Gallery has superb acoustics for live bands.

Excellent wedding venue. Had a wonderful day for a friend's wedding. The organisation was great. The food was lovely. The staff all helpful, and the location spectacular.

Haven't stayed here yet but we went to a wedding fayre to have a look round and try the food a couple of weeks ago. We feel in love with this place, it's got so much character and history about it. The grounds are beautiful and the bedrooms are done to such a high standard, a delightful mix between classic and modern/contemporary. I love the fact you can have your civil ceremony in one of two outdoor locations as well as a choice of indoor locations too. Very much looking forward to hopefully getting married here outside the beautiful bell tower next May.

Lovely place in the middle of the countryside. Has a small indoor pool and a few bikes you can use for a ride around. The settings are beautiful and full of history. Great food. Williams Shakespeare places are about 15 min drive and there are a few lovely cafes, shops, artisan and food market (opening Saturdays and Sundays), boats for hire by tge river, plenty to do and very enjoyable trip.

Loved it. The staff is very helpful. There is a historic chapel and family cemetery behind the hotel. Very picturesque.

Myself and may daughter went here for drinks after work to relax in a beautiful setting. The staff are so welcoming particularly damian and will they were so accommodating and really made our stay enjoyable and memorable. Thank you so much we RE BOOKING ANOTHER NIGHT.

The hotel was an amazing place to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. They helped organise flowers to be in the room upon our arrival. The food was one of the highlights of the stay, we wanted to stay 5 nights simply because there were five dishes to chose from and we wanted to try them all! The breakfast was no different with the waffles being the best breakfast I have ever had. What really made the stay though we're the staff, they were always helpful and despite having weddings on each night, we never felt unwelcome or not allowed to go in certain areas. The building and grounds are also spectacular. By far the best hotel I have stayed in for hospitality and quality of food.

Really nice country house with exceptional, unstuffy service. Highly recommended. If you look closely, you may spot the deer roaming around the estate.

My wife and I called for traditional afternoon tea on a prepaid voucher (Christmas prezzie).
On Fri 16th Feb. Great place, location etc. Great welcome and very well looked after by our apppointed waitress she was lovely and couldn’t have done more for us. Great.
But! not always a but with us. Didn’t complain because wifey told me to keep it zipped!
But the bread for the sandwiches was very dry and the quality of the beef and ham was poor, appeared to be very thinly sliced packet stuff, not nice. Not really acceptable for what it costs. All the other tea items were acceptable but again jam and cream a bit on the sparse side. Apart from that we enjoyed the experience in fine surroundings.

Amazing setting for a champagne afternoon tea to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary. Staff are all very pleasant and attentive and the home made scones and cakes are to die for. This is our second visit to a Handpicked Hotel and I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel group.

Beautiful location and wonderful facilities. Staff are welcoming and helpful throughout your stay. Would be wonderful at Christmas or for a wedding venue. Highly recommend!

The hotel and surroundings are beautiful, as they should, since they are in the Cotswolds AONB. The staff were exceptional around the hotel, in the bar and in the restaurant. Very friendly and very professional. The Shakespeare suite is just fabulous, I could not believe how I ended up there, definitely one of the very best rooms and hotel I've ever been to.

This hotel and it's grounds are beautiful and worth the trip just to see. The rooms are elegantly appointed and very comfortable. The staff provided truly exceptional service. Breakfast in the morning was by far the best we had of all the hotels we stayed at in England. If you have a chance to stay here, do do as it is worth every pence. And if you do take the time to walk around the grounds.

Beautiful hotel. Stayed here for a wedding nearby and didn't get a chance to see much of the hotel or grounds but looked amazing. The staff were very friendly and accommodating we arrived in the middle of the night with 2 sleepy kids and they were very friendly and took our bags to our room We missed breakfast time but they offered us breakfast as room service and didn't charge extra. My only complaint would be some minor maintenance issues but otherwise a very enjoyable stay. Short drive into Stratford.

Recently stayed here as a gift from our family to celebrate our Golden Wedding. A superb hotel, like staying in a stately home, very sympathetically updated for modern luxuries. Stayed in an Executive room overlooking the main entrance, very large and comfortable. Pool & spa facilities great. Food is wonderful, from very generous breakfast to dinner in Oak Room. Staff are very helpful, considerate and friendly, our special thanks to Luca, Pascale, Darren, Damian, Wojcek & Anna. For making our stay so special. We will always remember this trip and will definitely return. Highly recommend a stay here. Location and grounds are special. Thank you very much.

Wonderful location and lovely hotel. We stayed at and went to a wedding at Ettingdon Park Hotel. We were met on arrival by welcoming staff who helped us with our luggage to our room. As it was also our Wedding Anniversary the hotel gave us complimentary drinks, which was lovely. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The food at the hotel and for the wedding were great and all looked like it went smoothly for the lovely couples wedding. Would recommend for staying at the hotel or booking an event there. Very Good.

We attended Ettington Park for Sunday Lunch as a party of 9. We booked a private room and had the pleasure of your colleague James who was designated to looking after us. We benefited from not only a lovely lunch but also first class Service from James. He was very attentive without being intrusive. After we enjoyed lunch, James spent a great deal of time with us answering questions from any of us and showing us the chapel and grounds. We left having had a most enjoyable afternoon. Thank you.

This is THE place to go. Amazingly tasty food, perfect room, the service was so great and the staffs are just brilliant. I am really looking forward to go there again. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

A beautiful weekend celebrating the wedding of our daughter. The team at Ettington ensured every detail was met throughout. Hannah and Ian had a wedding day they will never forget as will their families and friends. Many thanks to all.

Great hotel and experience! The hotel looks exactly like a castle. It looks old but has modern upgrades. The staff was very friendly and took great care of us. They have a great and proper high tea time as well. Wifi was provided and free, with the option to upgrade if needed. Nice large TV in the room and amazing grounds to explore during the day. They had excellent selections of spirits selections, and the restaurant was wonderful.

As a birthday treat, my family took me to the Ettington Park Hotel for one of their special teas. Unfortunately, the unusually severe waitress told us on arrival that we should have booked, even though there was no-one else there having tea. So we persevered and after a bit of a mix up (not being given the menu to choose our tea, we nearly finished up with the full afternoon tea including sandwiches at a rather overpriced £20 per person) we finally got our cream teas. They are possibly a little expensive at £10 per person but you're paying for the refined surroundings and the Earl Grey was perfect, served in a white china teapot, with delicious clotted cream and jam accompanying the still warm freshly baked scones. Staff were very courteous though our initial welcome was a little cold as mentioned above. All in all, the ambiance of the place with its beautiful high ceilings and architecture, huge oil paintings and the stunning views from the lounge bay window made it an afternoon to remember.

Beautiful hotel and grounds and the staff couldn't have been better. The room was wonderful and I couldn't fault anything in this review so far. But the evening meal and drinks available at the bar were quite tired and staid by today's standards — not a huge selection of wines, no interesting beers and the dinner menu, while quite interesting, ended up just short of delivering. They could really do with a bit more effort on this end of things, or maybe I expected too much!

Me and my wife stayed on a 2 night spring break! well all I can say is out of this world, absolutely amazing. We got there Thursday afternoon and from the moment we checked in it was superb with amazing staff from the concierge named damion to the bar man who couldn't do enough to help us. We stayed in a classic room which was lovely cleanliness was impeccable. We had dinner on the 1st night which was lovely and breakfast on 2 mornings with a wide variety to choose from again absolutely lovely. Will definitely be returning again and would recommend to anybody.

Attended a Birthday afternoon tea recently at this hotel… There were 16 of us and one waiter (who was perfectly pleasant). It took about an hour for all our choice teas to be served and then we had to wait as the tea strainers were not on the table! (Should be! ) Some ladies had then drunk a couple of cups of tea before the food finally arrived way after our tea! Firstly there should have been two people on to serve this amount of people (plus he had another table of two and four) and the tea strainers should be put on the table when it is being laid.

Lovely rooms and impeccable service, beautiful grounds, great venue for the wedding. Only complaint is the bed was a bit complicated (rolled away from the wall/headboard).

Absolutely amazing. This stately manor home has been in the same family for over 900 years. Shakespeare was a frequent visitor and did much writing here. The grounds host a private church built in 1066 which can still be used for weddings today. The breakfast was fabulous. The suite was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were given a private tour of the hotel, church and grounds by Damien who knew all the history and details of every little piece. We will return here again and are considering holding our wedding here.

I photographed a wedding at Ettington Park earlier this year. One word — stunning! A fantastic venue with a never ending array of prime locations to capture beautiful portrait shots.

By far the best hotel my partner and I have ever had the pleasure to stay at. The staff were the nicest and most helpful people we have met. Views and surroundings amazing and peaceful. Highly recommended.

Amazing building and beautiful grounds. The atmosphere in the hotel retains some of the old fashion charm, but the rooms are modern and have good facilities. The breakfast was also very tasty, though the sausages were a bit hard. Very friendly staff, no hesitation in recommending this place.
