Had a fabulous long lunch today, with a fellow single friend. Covid safe. Excellent welcome and no rush service, ‘wonderful’ food. Booked for the lunch 3 course set menu NYE.

Stayed in “the loft”, really enjoyed the weekend and would recommend. Staff were helpful & friendly. Great measures in place due to the covid situation.
Perfect small town with essentials like supermarkets and takeaways and pubs minutes away on foot.
Would love to go again.

We had a fantastic 3 course takeaway last night from Wild Garlic Bistro & Rooms. The fish cake starters were enormous. Husband had the pork meatballs and I had the veggie ones, both were very good. I hope the veggie ones will be on the regular menu as they were gorgeous. Lovely fresh tagliatelle and salad to go with it. The lemon tart dessert was excellent and didn’t think we would have room for it but we managed it about an hour later. I hope there might be scope to continue the takeaway service once the restaurant is back to normal opening.

Tastiest meals around that are not going to break the bank! Friendly team who were more than happy to accommodate my awkward dietary requirements! 10/10

My Cousin and myself ate here last night the food was superb, tasty and very nicely presented, staff were fantastic and the atmosphere was brilliant. Highly recommend Wild Garlic… We'll be back for more delicious food. Thanks for a great evening.

Lovely ambiance with friendly and attentive staff. Food was presented well and delicious. Beautiful flavours. Portion size not large for some dishes but acceptable. Nice and affordable selection of wines and drinks. Didn’t feel rushed with good length of time between courses. Some might think too long but we weren’t in a hurry. The menu on their website is currently slightly different to what is on offer but I have advised them of this. Thoroughly recommend. Just over £100 for 2 three courses Bistro menu with a delicious “whilst you ponder” three cheese arancini”, bread for the Mussels, bottle of wine and 2 glasses of dessert wine.

Great way to end the week on a Friday night with foodie friends from far and wide. Having never eaten at the Wild Garlic before we were pleasantly surprised to find a warm welcome to a fine dining experience in a relaxed atmosphere. All of our dishes were beautifully presented. All five of us selected a starter and whilst the hand-picked South West crab accompanied by avocado and bursts of Summer from the sun blushed tomatoes was delicious, the Red Mullet with soused vegetables stole the show. To accompany the meal we selected a French summer rosé wine, a good choice for both fish or meat. For the mains we thoroughly enjoyed a superb slow roasted shoulder of lamb, enhanced by an interesting touch of battered anchovies. However, the pan fried Sea Bream and Mussel velouté was delicious and cooked to perfection. Whilst the deserts looked so tempting we instead opted for the local organic cheese course and we couldn't resist the opportunity to dip into the rosemary infused baked camembert, well worth the extra wait as we lingered over a carafe of French red wine. With a good selection of beers on tap as well as French and New World wines sold either by the glass, carafe or bottle at £45 pp for a three course meal of such quality with wine, seemed to us to be most reasonable. @monbonappetit.

Had the most amazing meal at Wild Garlic ever! We've eaten here a few times before the new menu is absolutely delicious, some of the tastiest and best put together dishes I've ever had. The service was attentive and we had lovely conversations with Henry regarding some particularly special desert wines. Well done team Wild Garlic! Thank you :)
