I don’t even know where to start! Myself and Adam would like to give a huge thank you to Honor and all the staff that made our wedding day on the 15/02/2020 so special! Everything was exactly what we wanted, all the decorations were put up exactly how we’d asked, the food was exceptional and the evening hog roast was delicious! I can not recommend them enough! It’s a beautiful place to get married! Myself and my 2 bridesmaids stayed the evening before and got ready there also and they were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble! It was a day we will never, ever forget and will be visiting regularly!

Absolutely beautiful spot, beautiful food, drinks, great atmosphere, friendly staff, dog friendly absolutely great pub & grounds.

Wonderful place, fabulous views including the cattle lol staff very attentive and rooms great, might need a fan in the summer tho, oldey worldey building which is amazing, defo recommend and would come back for a second stay.

Great venue for surprise 70th Birthday celebrations, catering for 29 people (and a baby and a dog). Lovely food, stylish decor and great service.

Been several times always good. Gets very busy some times. Worth ringing ahead for kitchen open times.

Really nice gardens lots of sitting places and the views around the pub just go on as far as the eye can see, I don't know what the food is like as I and my partner didn't have any thing to eat, but what food came out all looked very nice. Will eat there next time I go there.

A lovely quiet stay at 'The Lodge' on a Sunday night. 4 poster bed, big TV for chilling watching a film and fab views over the common. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. Food was great. Great Sunday roast with veggie Wellington too. Massive full English or a wide range of other choices too. Great value for money in a lovely setting.

Friendly staff as always but smoked salmon salad rather a rip off with a small smoked salmon fillet, a couple of cold boiled potatoes and a gritty salad for almost £17! Complained about the gritty salad but all we got was ‘we’ll tell the chef” which was a poor response.

Lovely country pub on Minchinhampton Common. Friendly staff and great tasting food. Always get a warm welcome. Come in the summer and see the cows grazing on the Common.

The Old Lodge is very Nice, but they Bar / Lounge could be better ventilated, as very hot and humid when there is a group of people. I don't recommend the Gammon egg and chips. The Burger with Cheese and bacon rill and Chips lovely and the service good.

The room is very nice and clean. Great place, very good food and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommended. Will stay here again. Thank you to all the staff of The Old Lodge.

Superb position on top of the common land Minchinhampton. Interesting building. Quaint interior… good garden area with views BUT all tables and benches… I am of an age where I need a back to my chair!. French owners. Friendly service… 2 steak baguettes looked promising but meat was tough although tasty… I am Coeliac so don't ever get a lot of choice and had Cornish scallops on pea puree… they were not seared they were burned and my £6.50 portion was for 4 small scallops… location superb. Value for money could and should have been better.

Great location, nice food, great selection of drinks. Friendly staff. We went mid week and it was nice and quiet. Try it, your will probably like it…

Stayed here for one night 5.5.18. Whilst attending a family wedding in Coaley. Fabulous lunch, terrific scenery, helped by the sunshine of course. Very busy but staff very efficient and food five star. Rooms clean and comfortable, staff polite and welcoming. Would recommend. Only negative was heating was a bit warm but then so was the weather.

Had a family lunch here today. The restaurant was packed with like minded families all large groups. We were a party of 18. Service was not very quick but we had the chance to catch up with family gossip. Food was excellent I had lamb rump which was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. We did however have to tell them when we were ready to order rather than be asked. When we came to pay they kindly gave us a discount as we had to wait a long time. I would go again.

Gorgeous old pub and restaurant in a stunning location with amazing views! The food here is fantastic, the service is exceptional, we eat out a lot and this place is one of the best, good value also! Well worth the drive up from Bristol, definitely going back again and again…

What can I say. We chose The Old Lodge for our small intimate wedding. A perfect choice. Ryan the events manager is simply worth his weight in gold. Consummate professional with a personal touch. Likewise, all the staff were exceptional. The food was exceptional. Thank you for adding to our special day.
This has become our very special place and we will be back… Often! Cannot rate it highly enough.
