Overpriced. Not very clean but comfortable enough. I like that they recicle shampoos etc. Nothing goes to waste. Staff are polite.

The room was something bigger than the bed. Clean bathrooms with abundant hot water. Free Internet connection.

The door didn't close properly. The place was clean and comfortable, but the bathroom was not in the room.

The electrics were dubious, the decor shabby, the bed incredibly uncomfortable and the radiator had no thermostat valve to regulate the temperature. By far the worse guest house I have visited.

Welcoming, accommodating and helpful hosts and clean bedrooms. However, the shower head was broken and we were unable to reposition it, the floor was dirty and lots of mildew in the bathroom.

Good location, situated close to Oxford centre and near a really cool burger joint (Atomic Burger) however the rooms were to be desired. The shower was broken and I couldn't really position it in a way in which it would cover me completey. Floor was stained and shower was dirty. I've stayed in allot nice places for less however it is Oxford where the average hotel room is £100 a night. I recommend Balkan Lodge which is roughly the same money but way better kept. Downside is it's a tiny bit further out from the center.

Filthy. Mouldy. Small rooms. Worst place I have ever stayed. Never coming back.

Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in the house was filthy carpets dirty and toilets and shower not cleaned reguarly which were shared and because of state decided not to have a shower shared kitchen which stank of smoke had people drinking and smoking til 2 in the morning and all pots uneaten food cans etc not cleaned up the room had cigerette butts under bed TV did not work and not sure if bedding changed absolute rip off at 54 pounds should not provide accommodation and would not stay there again if paid.

Simple, cheap rooms. You can walk to the centre in 10 minutes.

Location, cleanness, friendly staff is among the pros. I stayed there for 6 nights and it was quite pricey. Although the cheapest guesthouse you will find in Oxford.

Booked, arrived on the spot, seen live, paid the cost of booking (£73) and we left.
We wondered all day as hell we could choose a similar dive!

Very sub standard. People in next room had a party until 3am. No guest support. Intimidating.

I stayed there on 2012 as it was the only B&B available to spend the night while doing a road trip with a friend. It was BY FAR the worst experience we ever had: the room was dirty (although the bed sheets were clean), there was rubbish, used batteries and stuff on the drawers of the bedside table, the shower was nasty. Cannot understand why this place is recommended on The AA B&B Guide. Furthermore it was not cheap but pretty expensive (+80GBP).

83£ for this is really too much! And waking up with a beatle near your head is not very funny! Do not go to this place.

Residents regularly leave the door unlocked. They smoke in their rooms. The landlord regularly comes in to the room. The front door slams making a loud noise.
