Just left after a perfect 2 night stay. Highly recommend, fantastic service from all, high quality rooms. We stayed in the pub & it was perfect, Loved the quirkiness of the room, high quality little touches such as the biscuits, tea/coffee & lovely smelling hand-wash etc in the bathroom. Breakfast was just as good, highly recommend the pancakes, perfect. Half hour walk to Bombay Sapphire so great location too. Can't wait to come back, thank you.

Wow we are staying here, the. Whole experience is wonderful ate here tonight supervisor jamie Lee was top class as was Carla and izzy 110 % happy here and will definitely be back.

My wife and I booked a table early on a Thursday evening having done a Bombay Sapphire tour that afternoon. Service was friendly and attentive and food was very good. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Very nice bar and restaurant with accommodation. Menu had great choice of food including all the usual pub food and more adventurous dishes. Service excellent and friendly albeit a little slow due to number of people visiting Carfest. Stay in one of the superior rooms which was worth the extra £30 for sheer luxury and space. Well worth a visit.

A very beautiful place but beware, the quality comes at a bit of a price. Still a great place to eat and drink though.

Excellent fish and chips and camembert sharing platter. Great location for food and drink, especially when planning ahead for public transport.

Poor poor service having meal asked someone to get us some drinks and she said can we go to bar ourselves They are serving others that booked a table. Surely if we eating they should wait on us the same. Spent over nearly £100 so would of expected better service. Book your table first is all I can say!

Amazing Pub to wine and dine with live bands on the weekend and amazing friendly staff. The food is 5 star and dog friendly with a lovely terrace outside.

Popped in for lunch after visiting the Bombay Sapphire distillery in a neighboring village. Good food and friendly staff. They even had sun tan lotion for customers to use if sitting outdoors.

Good food and service in nice surroundings. Menu more fancy that most. Easy access and parking by car.

My stay at the white Hart was lovely. Ideal for visiting the bombay sapphire gin distillery as it's only a 30min walk up the road or the bombay bus stops outside the library opposite the white Hart. The room was lovely and the food was exceptional but please do be aware of shot pellets in the game pie! Beautiful area for a morning walk too before the drive home.

Food was good and it is a lovely looking pub. It wasnt particularly busy and yet it took along time to be acknowledged and taken to the table. Waiting staff were friendly and only other compliant was the time between courses were overly long.

I think this is the closest I have ever come to being a regular at a pub, which I guess is not that regular in that we visit maybe a few times a month for food. Overall the food is very good and the service is good and friendly. On this particular visit the service was poor, surprising as you would of thought that they would of been prepared for a busy weekend. However from my experience this was not the norm. My only other comment is that the wild boar burger is not for me!

Amazing. The price you pay is nothing like a five star hotel but the service and facilities are. Loved staying there. Clean large well stocked rooms. Friendly knowledgeable staff and delicious food in a cozy friendly atmosphere. Couldnt ask for better.

Located in the picturesque village of Overton close to Bombay Sapphire distillery. Tasteful renovated keeping original features. Good service and tasty food. Worth a visit.

Very nice food and staff. Food lovely and hot, tasty too. Clean loos as well, nicely decorated and the hand cream in the ladies is a lovely touch. Overall very satisfied and would recommend. Food arrived quickly although not busy at the time we went.

Room was furnished tastefully and was nice and clean. Slept great! Value for money so definitely would stay again.

Great food, I ordered the hot beef baguette, was one of the best I've ever eaten! The reason they only got the 4 stars was because the drinks were expensive.

We had a very good meal — all items were delicious. We had a (large) dog with us which was welcomed. Lovely room with cosy log burner. Service was helpful without being ingratiating. The four stars are because the food took quite a long time to appear, otherwise would be 5.

Ok food… Extremely disappointed with my whole experience… rude waitress. Frosty manager. Loud music at 10pm! Very very very disappointed. Will not be rushing back and will not recommend.

Great pub with really friendly staff. Reserved a table and on getting to the bar were shown to it quickly as we had said we were in a bit of a rush. Service was fab when asking for our orders and the roast beef was super delicious. They remembered we had a time pressure and brought us the bill promptly too when asked. Would loved to have stayed for dessert, maybe next time.

Went here for the first time this week. Had lunch. We watched this place being refurbished and thought from the outside that it had gone too fat upmarket and out of our price range. How wrong we were. Lovely Interior, cosy fire. Friendly staff and customers. Excellent choice of lunchtime food. Even gluten free. And the cherry on the cake we took our pooch. Everyone took pooches. This pub is now on our favourites list.

Amazing food, friendly staff, and VERY dog friendly (inform the staff that you are bringing your dog so they can book you in the right section) The Chateaubriand was to die for, the gin selection spectacular… shame I had to drive. Definitely one of my favourites in the area.

Stayed here last night enjoyed to food it was top noch lovely pub would recommend it every time the only thing was when we were staying in the room you could here the cleaners getting there stuff out of there room early and traffic but thats fine loved our stay anyway.

Great food, fast service and very friendly waiting staff. I had the cod and hand-cut chips and my friend had the sausage and mash. Dishes came out at the same time and the waitress was very charismatic. The food was delicious and we had to have pudding. While the pudding menu was fairly small it had a lot of favorites on there. In the end he had the crumble and I the pineapple upside down cake. This took a little longer to come because the bar started to get busy, but our waitress was very apologetic. The puddings both came piping hot and were great. We left a very nice tip :)

We stayed there last night, and we loved it! The building is beautiful, our room was amazing, bed was super comfy, the lighting throughout the hotel was very cosy and an extremely comfy bed. They don't normally do room service but we're more than happy to bring our dinner up to our room which was awesome, all of the staff are very friendly and helpful, it was also nice to see how hands on the manager is around d the hotel. The food itself was absolutely amazing including bot…h our dinner and breakfast. They were able to accommodate several special requests regarding the food as well which to us is very important and they did it perfectly shutout questioning anything. Overall we loved the hotel and can't wait to come back! We loved it so much that we have now provisionally booked our wedding reception at one of their restaurants! Thank you for the perfect stay.

Just enjoyed Saturday lunch birthday celebration for Grannie, and couldn't fault it. Attentive table service, yummy food and not too pricey, and the kids enjoyed their menu food.

This place is nicely appointed and serves some nice beers and reasonable service. A classy joint. However I could not recommend the food. It's never going to set the world on fire and I've had a couple of bad experiences.

Popped in for a pint on the way to visit friends and was very impressed with the pub. Lovely set up, nice and warm with the open fire and a lovely pint to boot! All in all, next time we're in the area we will certainly pop in, probably fir more than just one pint next time!

Beer garden was nice on a sunny day. Very strange seared tuna meal. Bizarrely salty. Would not recommend at all. Good beer & cider. Friendly staff.
