Pleasant pub with nice rooms in the annex and a solid breakfast offer in the morning. Very dog and walker friendly.

Brilliant staff, ready to help put where needed. Very nice pub as well. Just the hot water didn't stay hot too long. Nevertheless would definitely recommend to anyone in the area, especially if you have dogs!

Stopped off there for dinner while walking the ridgeway, they are very walker friendly, topped up our cammelpacks and the food was fantastic.

Worth a visit. This is a quirky pub with good food.

I had a wonderful dinner, with garlic and Parmesan mushrooms for a starter, and lasagna for my main course. It was apparently an old family recipe and it was fantastic. I had two good pints of Lager and delicious ice cream for dessert. The service was wonderful, they asked after me and made me feel welcome. And the interior look was great. I saw the well and it fit right in.

Fantastic place, the food was great, a very comfy atmosphere and the guy who served us was full of smiles. The garlic mushrooms in a Yorkshire pudding was amazing!

Lovely pub with friendly staff and locals serving great food. I was stopped over in Ogbourne Saint George for a couple of days waiting for a friend to join me when walking from Bath to Ivinghoe Beacon a couple of years back and enjoyed spending time in here. There are also tables and comfortable seating outside.

The food here is truly excellent. Much better than you'd expect from the unprepossessing exterior — so don't let it put you off. We stayed here with our two dogs who were made to feel very welcome. Rooms are warm and clean. Overall, a very pleasant experience. The Banoffee pie is out of this world.

This is a good pub, which serves good food and the beer is excellently kept. It is a little out of the way but well worth a visit.
