Gorgeous room (number 4 highly recommended) and helpful staff. What a wonderful location to visit the Cotswolds.

Love the New Inn. The food is most excellent and Sam is simply the best bar manager south of the Watford gap.

Review for the pub only: Great pub! After touring England for a week we were dissapointed that we couldn't find a decent, casual pub with real pub food in the Cotswolds. We stopped by here on a rainy day and we were pleasantly surprised to find some delicious sausage rolls and scotch eggs. Great comfy space with fireplaces and not as rambunctious of a place as others we went to in desperation. Dinner menu looked great and well priced as well. Definitely would recommend for drinks, snacks and/or dinner!

Great place to meet for a drink, the menu is also quite extensive and the food and service is usually very good. A nice local pub — recommended.

Fell so in love with this place, ⚘if you look at the photos I'm sure you can see why. Its the perfect place to stay if your thinking going on a trip to the cotswolds, it's so fitting and so beautiful in a lovely location. We woke with the sound of all the birds singing away and flying arround outside which was so nice, Breakfast was delicious, I loved the little touches like the teapots and cute little pots of jam and the scrambled eggs were the tastiest eggs I've ever eaten! Our room was super warm and stuffy but it was such a hot night and well we are in England so this probably doesn't happen often and seriously though with a veiw like that flowers everywhere and a bed so comfy, who cares. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Beautiful pub in a stunning location. Recently under new ownership — Steve is fantastic; really knows what he's doing. We arrived midway through a very busy lunch but had no problems getting served or receiving our food. The open steak sandwich was amazing, although I wasn't asked how I'd like it cooked, and it came out very rare. Thankfully that's how I would have asked for it anyway, but it could have put others off. Plenty of choice in terms of beer, plenty of seating inside and out, with a decent sized car park. Also a play park for those with children — thankfully far enough away from the food area so you don't have to listen to the noise. Easy recommendation though — definitely drop in.

Good looking country pub with great food — I especially liked the pizza bar outside and the terrace. Rooms looked well kitted out and mine had a stand alone bath in it — loved it! If it had a big garden this would be a 5* review.

A charming pub with excellent Sunday Roast, good music and a great way to escape the tourists of the Cotswolds.

A wonderful, charismatic place, with great service and food; set in a beautiful location.

The food is exceptionally good and good value. We eat there regularly and the staff / service are a joy. When I tried to book a table recently the on-line system failed and sometimes you have to leave a message for the staff to call back and make a booking — but it is worth it.

Stayed here following our son's wedding at Cripps Barn and were very pleasantly surprised at the comfortable rooms and the breakfast. Highly recommended!

Very pretty building in a beautiful village. However, accommodation massively over priced. A number of problems with the room. Flush on toilet faulty, bath waste blocked with hair, mould on bathroom ceiling, shower head wouldn't move and soaked bathroom floor, bathroom light switch not on pull string (dangerous), no hand towels, no fridge so baby's milk went off. Then on to the restaurant. First night we (4 couples, a 3 year old, a 2 year old and a 1 year old) sat down to eat at 6:30. When we eventually were given a menu to look at 30 MINUTES LATER, we all ordered our food, plus 3 kids meals. An hour later and some food came out but two adults and the 1 year olds meal had been forgotten. Wouldn't recommend it as its totally overpriced.

Recently had Saturday lunch at The New Inn with family and friends. Delicious, high quality food and plenty on the unfussy, seasonal menu to please adults and children. Very reasonable prices. Cosy ambience and excellent service. Highly recommended.

Beautiful location and building but the accommodation standard FAR below website impression. Breakfast menu comprehensive but quality below average. Several emails sent for owners observations to matters raised without the courtesy of a reply. Grossly overpriced.

What a well run, fantastic Inn; the room was lovely, the food just amazing. I don't know what the chef does with pork, but I hope he keeps doing it. Service was excellent. We were so impressed as well by the way the Inn was run; the manager was so helpful with a trans Atlantic issue we had to solve. I absolutely recommend The New Inn, and wish them great success. We are both looking forward to returning; a few long walks in the Cotswolds and we'll be up for more amazing dinners.
