The place was clean rinse Heidi staff are very friendly and breakfast with absolutely fantastic.

Me and my other half had the best stay we stayed from Wednesday to Friday the staff was amazing and will be defo going back again thank you for a lovely time.

The breakfast in this place is better than any cafe in clacton the little old lady cheff is amazing defo coming back for the food.

Had a great breakfast today, just popped in as I was not staying there. Unlimited coffee, juice and toast with a great fry up all for £5. Will be going back next time I am in the area. Yum yum.

We stayed here for one night, friendly welcome we was given a room on the top floor about 34 steps to climb so would not recommend for people with health issues. Room was comfortable but I think the decor needs updating on a plus side breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. We was told they would have moved us if they wasn’t fully booked.

The staff were welcoming and very obliging. The beds were very comfortable, however the rooms need redecorating and the arrangement in our room was quite inconvenient. It was a family room but had a very small narrow shower room with a toilet (which was too high off the ground for an adult, I couldn't put my feet on the floor) and the only wash basin was in the bedroom. There is a no smoking policy but there was a definite smell of stale tobacco smoke in our room. Our first night was very disturbed by an extremely noisy family on the floor above. The floorboards require attention as any slight movement shudders the room. The breakfasts were adequate, cooked breakfast and toast available with hot drinks and juices. A continental breakfast is delivered to your room if required. I follow a special medical diet and the staff were very obliging. The hotel is situated in a very convenient position, very close to the shops, beach and pier. All in all, not bad, lovely staff but the whole place needs an overhaul.

Staff excellent as nothing was too much trouble. Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was lovely too. The bed and breakfast is in a great location. We would return when in the area. We would recommend this place.

Hi I stayed in room 4 it was extremely comfortable and clean the staff were very polite snd breakfast was great I eill definitely recommend to friends and family.

We have just come back from a wonderful stay at The Grosvenor, staff are very friendly especially the lovely receptionist that works on a monday and tuesday, housekeeper was lovely too, I asked for a couple of soft pillows and she went up straight away and got me some. Brealfast was yummy and cereal on a tray was excellent, lovely choice of food. Room was outstanding very clean and spacious, we enjoyed ourselves so much we booked to come back in August… looking forward to seeing everyone thats works at the hotel. Thank you Grosvenor from the unicorn girls.

The staff was so nice and helpful, the rooms also in great condition and was close to the sea and town.
