Standard Premier Inn. Fairly small rooms. Service at breakfast a bit slow but super speedy in the evenings.

Location good, not too noisy. Room comfy and clean. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Food was good staff lovely however room had no air conditioning and was like an oven two fans going all night no sleep at all.

Stay here quite often the rooms are always tidy and it's fairly quiet the breakfast is not the best.

Rooms are far too hot in the summer and it's close to a busy main road. The staff are helpful and friendly, breakfast OK.

Great location and a brilliant Beefeater Restaurant. The breakfast is superb. I had a great night's sleep which is unusual for me as it takes me normally a few days to get into a routine.

Wonderful, helpful staff. Comfortable room, second one, as the first one had a noisy ventilation which was disturbing at night. When mentioned to the reception, they helpfully change our room, and peaceful night was had by all. We always stay in this hotel on our frequent visits to family in Essex.

Very nice, very helpful and good value and the beefeater breakfast next door is a must! All you can eat for a tenner!

The hotel is fine for what we needed for an overnight stay while visiting family. Shame the service in the restaurant next door is a little slow.

Good hotel for the price. We were happy with our room. Everything was clean and it was not too loud, although there were some party people at the weekend. An air-conditioning would be nice ;)

Enjoyed our stay here although our room was small. Well located. Free parking. Good breakfasts and evening meals available.

Room was small, but clean. Bed was a little worn at the corners, but very comfortable; I had as good a sleep as some of the high-end hotels. Staff were friendly. Dinner at the linked Beefeater took a while, but food was good. Overall a pleasant experience and definitely good place for those on business.

The personel in the hotel is awesome, always helpful and so friendly. Rooms are always nice and clean. Highly recommended.

Room small bathroom & shower OK no such thing as free Wi-Fi able to login but that's it, had to wait until home to fill this in as unable to with hotels Wi-Fi.

Good location spacious rooms but families larger than 4 will need 2 rooms. But you can request joining rooms.

Always had a good welcome here. Rooms kept well and up to date. Breakfast is so good I go to other premier inns just for that.

I stayed here for one night recently on Business. Room was a little small compared to most Premier Inn's I've stayed at, you'd probably struggle with two people. The electric shower head was amazing with a "massage" option! Standards were fantastic as always from Premier Inn, the breakfast was spot on, very well cooked, not too long a wait and there was a great selection of continental options. Very nice service, MUCH better than received at the Festival Park Premier Inn, served with a smile which makes all the difference to your visit. Will likely use East Mayne for future visits!

Cheap an cheerful, really good quality for a premier Inn cheap hotel. Nice bar on sire for good beer and a pretty good breakfast.

Just spent 2 nights here and can say what an excellent hotel and stay we have had from start to finish. On arrival 23 June 2017 the receptionist on duty (sorry didn't get her name) was so friendly and pleasant and the room was 5 star. Its was our pearl wedding anniversary and she wished us a happy anniversary and we when we entered the room they had turned our towels into a giant heart and were laid on our bed, this little touch make it so special for us. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone the food was excellent at the attached beefeater and staff were first class too. We are returning back very soon. Thank you all for making this the most memorable and special anniversary.

Nice place to stay. I spent there four days (two times two days). Everything was OK, room was always clean and there is nice staff at reception. The only thing which was missing was AC, but it is not usually needed in UK ;-)

Good clean rooms well furnished nice large TV comfy bed, but very very small rooms. I would want something larger if stopping more than one night. They are the smallest premier Inn rooms I have ever stayed in. (And I've stopped in lots) Friendly Staff, good beefeater next door.

Service was very good, waitresses were friendly and efficient. Food was perfect. I would recommend highly.

Friendly staff and our room was immaculate. Very impressed with the room felt very luxurious for the small price.

Excellent accommodation and helpful staff set just across the road from a beautiful park and 20 mins from Southend beach. We have visited a few times, however, this time the breakfast in the neighbouring Beefeater was awful. We waited over half an hour for food that was cold and dried out. My husband's order was incorrect and had to be sent back. The baked beans had a skin on the top; the scrambled egg was cold and rubbery. Only the sausages were warm. After a while, the waitress (who was friendly) enquired about the food, at which point we were able to say, it wasn't good. She offered to replace it, but given this was much later, we just wanted to leave. Shame, otherwise could not have faulted the accommodation and staff at the Premier Inn.

This hotel was much better and only a few pounds dearer, than another, non-Premier Inn hotel I previously used in Basildon. The room was large and bright, the beds comfortable — altogether a most enjoyable stay.
