Just come back from our long weekend in Weymouth. Always stay at the Pebbles. Karen what a lovely Lady she works hard and it shows. Would give 10 Stars. :)

Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Pleasant location and only short walk to the beach. Not awarded 5 stars because of three points which potential guests should be aware of. 1. We selected this partly because it said no pets, because we prefer not to share a house with dogs. Although generally not a particular nuisance, the owners had several dogs — — these woke us up very early one morning and their presence made the patio and garden their domain. They were very friendly dogs but their presence and barking when accessing the car park was very unnerving at first. 2. Not all rooms are fully ensuite. At least one has the washbasin in the bedroom. We had a larger room but ensuite washbasin very cramped making a wet shave awkward. 3. Car park was such that some cars had to be blocked in. If all guests had a car, there is a need to plan ahead and discuss plans with the other guests each morning to ensure that those wanting to use their car could get out. Fortunately this worked fine when we were there.

Had great weekend hotel very clean and owners are very friendly food excellent will be going back.

Spent a very enjoyable three days here. Great location and we had a clean comfortable well equipped room. The breakfast was excellent and parking at the rear was a bonus. We would certainly stay here again. They were good hosts. I would give it 4.5 stars.

Paul and Karen were perfect hosts, the room was spotless beds so comfy and pillows I had to see what make they were so I could get some for home,,, breakfast perfect thank you for making the weekend to rember,,, not that you need it have a great year x.

Myself and my partner come here every year… conviently located 5 minutes from beach. Rooms are always well looked after… breakfast is lovely… If there are any problems owners are more than happy to help.

We traveled to Weymouth by train and found the B&B to be situated on a quiet road 10 minutes walk from the station — it's also around a 5 minute walk from the beach. There was a warm and efficient welcome and we got a few tips about local restaurants to try out. We didn't drive but there was parking on site for guests. The room (room 4 on the first floor) was in immaculate condition and made good use of the space — it was fairly small but not cramped. Everything seemed recently refurbished — the bathroom was in excellent condition with a good shower, kettle and tea/coffee amenities were available (though, see caveats below). There is a breakfast hour between 8-9 with a choice of full English of kipper (at the time of writing), both of which were very good. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay. Caveats: Check in and check out times are a little later and earlier than we'd have liked — 16.00 and 10.00 respectively, though our hosts were accommodating when we arrived early and checked out a little late. As another reviewer mentioned, there was a note in the welcome pack about tea etc not being replenished during the stay. Our stay was only two days but we did end up buying our own pack of tea as a result. Also, the walls and floors are very thin and the sound of people walking around can be disruptive at night.
