The Heritage was a lovely setting for our short break. Very welcoming hosts who make you feel at ease upon arrival, greeting us with a warm smile at the front door. The room was very clean, spotless, had everything we wanted, including a lovely shower and bathroom. Breakfast went down very easily which started the day our very well. Would recommend this B and B, when next in the area we would stay here again.

Stayed for one night, last night. Owners welcoming, house lovely. Rooms spotless and bed comfortable and airy with plenty of storage and a nice garden view. Breakfast was very nice and you can tell a lot of thought has gone in to make their guests feel welcome. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful B and B. Ian and Kate were absolutely lovely and gave us a very warm welcome on our arrival. Our room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. You can tell that Ian and Kate take a lot of pride in running this B and B. I would definitely recommend The Heritage as a place to stay if you are in the area.

Stayed here for 12 nights for work and its been by far the Best B&B ive ever stayed in, welcoming owners and fantastic room, clean and comfortable with amazing breakfast! would recommend it to anyone, thank you for looking after me.

Cannot fault this family run bed and breakfast. Everything was first class… extremely clean well appointed large bedrooms with crisp white linen… shower over the bath… toiletries by The White Company. Excellent breakfast with a very generous choice of cooked and / or cereals etc including fresh homemade fruit salad. Kate, Ian, Beau and the young weekend girl were delightful, professional and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Went for a weekend with my sisters and our frail elderly mother… we vowed to visit again! Pub next door… wouldn't have known as no noise… does a huge selection of excellent food… be warned enormous portions.

Old style with very modern on suite bathrooms just perfect. Excellent hosts with proper attentive service. Cooked to order breakfast all in all 10 out 10 recommended.

Second visit, and there will be more! Everything is perfect, from the welcome, the rooms, the breakfasts and the location. Couldn't really improve anything, as it's already first class. And there's parking, and a pub next door.

Beautiful, clean, modern rooms in a 17th century house. High quality bedding and toiletries. Fabulous breakfast.

A gem of a place to stay, Kate & Ian are wonderful hosts that make you feel extremely welcome. Rooms are tastefully decorated, and little touches like using local products for soaps/shampoo, and also biscuits & breakfast show a real sense of care & attention to detail. Weymouth is easily accessible (short car/bus journey), while also being quiet when you return, it's not the first time I've stayed here when in the area and certainly won't be the last!

This was my return visit to this fantastic guest house. The welcome you get is first class by the owners, the food is excellent and the rooms are beautifully decorated, the best feature being the lovely comfortable bed so much so you'll have a job getting out of it!

We came for an evening meal and were very impressed. The food was excellent — a well thought out menu and everything cooked to perfection. The service was also fantastic because the waitress/bar lady was very attentive and friendly. Another nice touch was that the chef found time to come and talk to her guests, which everybody really appreciated. The reviews about the Turks Head below should really be on a different page — it is a totally separate pub next door. I would certainly go back again, and would recommend to anybody — this place deserves a lot of credit.

Wonderful food, comfortable room and outstanding service often promised these days but exceeded in bucket loads here, obviously we will be returning. Sharron A.
