It's a very long story. In the beginning you get the impression that it's a very nice comfortable place to stay in for a long term but day after day you start smelling the hidden rotten fact of this hotel as a place and as the person who manages & owns the hotel as well as he lives in the hotel. I befriended with him as he comes almost from the same backgrounds I used to think that he is a good person but in fact I started finding out the oposit day after day during my stay in his hotel. But what I found out that all the alrm systems in all rooms are not working first of all if there will be a fire in the hotel nobody will know only when it's too late. The CCTV are just cameras hanged on the walls but not connected if there will be a serious problem happening in the hotel a crime for example the police won't be able to see the recordings because the cameras are not connected. Very bad cleaning services towels are charged Once a week but if you give your towels and linen dirty they will not serve you with clean Ones. Only cash payments or buy bank transfers. It's very boring either you stay in your room if you don't want to go out or it's raining you can't sit outside because there is no other places to use only the kitchen which is not comfortable to stay in for long.

The room was very comfortable and the Topaz is very clean. The owners are very welcoming. I stayed for 2 months. My deposit was refunded in full when I checked out The Topaz is in a good location, it is just a few minutes walk to the beach, town centre and BIC. There is a pub 2 minutes walk away, and a convenience store as well. There are lots of restaurants, cinema and theatre just a few minutes walk away.

How to get started. In the first place the quality price it is regrettable, some small rooms, dirty, cold, noisy and dilapidated, and nothing advisable to the truth. You do not cleaned the room even if it is what you ask for. To say the Wi-Fi, it says it has but it is impossible to connect and when you do it is very slow or does not work. I do not recommend at all to stay in this hotel, if you can choose other do it or you'll regret it. In terms of the bond, 200£ that you know that you're losing from the time you arrive because the owner is a scoundrel not to say anything more. You have to give 4 weeks notice, but even if you do the will tell you that you don't tell anything, all very regrettable and a hard face neither more nor less.

I don't recommend this place, too expensive for what they offer, no deposit back because u have to give the notice 4 weeks before, problems with the water, the kitchen, cold and very small room, you have to pay to clean your clothes, strange staff. I felt very uncomfortable and we payed a lot of money for nothing! Disappointed!

The bathroom was pathetically small and dirty. The main problem with this hotel was how rude and ignorant the staff in reception were no manners whatsoever. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere.

Hotel cancelled my booking a few days before I was due to arrive. Pathetic explanation given. Ruined my plans. Before booking check out TripAdvisor reviews. Looks like this place is shocking. Save yourself money and hassle by avoiding this place like the plague.

Had a comfortable stay in the topaz stayed in the hawian suite very good breakfast clean rooms and A k was a great host we will return next year!

Been here over 3 times now, both me and my wife like Bournemouth a lot and you couldn't ask for a nicer host. The rooms are always very clean and cozy with tea and coffee facilities. Walking distance to the seafront. Will definitely come again.

Very clean, comfortable rooms, friendly service, good breakfast (could be more continental options), brilliant location! Will visit again for sure.
