It's in a nice spot on the clifftop. Lovely beer garden, food is good and it's dog friendly! which is a bonus!

Always enjoy the food and atmosphere here. Just wish the few chav customers would try The Commodore up the road.

Nice local pub on the clifftop. Laid back atmosphere. They have a couple of rooms you can stay in too.

Not at all terrible. Agreed the service could have been a bit more efficient and professional at the bar, but the food was outstanding and the atmosphere genuinely warm and welcoming. Very easy on the eyes as well.

Today 19. September We went to this very nice pub for lunch, the staff were fine but the food was the worst we have ever had anywhere cold and exceptionally poor quality, don't eat here unless you take a magnifying glass to see your lunch. Only 1 out of 10 very poor.

Drinks ok staff very nice, but I ordered the all day breakfast and the two pork sausages were very under cooked and they looked like they had only been one minute under the grille, no body came to check if food was ok so we just left, probably will not return.

If you enjoy terrible service this is the place to go to. The staff have clearly not been trained and have no interest in offering even the most basic of service. Couldn't get served at the bar last night so walked out along with two other couples and went to the Commodore. Will not be going back. It is not as if this is a one off experience. This type of thing happens frequently. They do not deserve to be in business. My advice is don't go to it.

Bar staff and management are appaling. 4 staff tonight. 1 serving. 1 'stock-taking'. 1 cleaning up empties off the bar. 1 reloacting clean glasses onto the shelves. Meantime, customers lined up waiting to be served. Seriously naff bar. Bar staff lacking common sense, and managerial control absent. Only pop in if the place is empty!

Good location, good food but what a surprise. My wife and another disabled man had to use the ordinary toilets because the one for the disabled was occupied for a long time. The surprise — when the door eventually opened out came a man and woman adjusting their cloths and with big smiles on their faces. I guess they found another use for the baby changing table! So selfish and a bad image for the pub. A Radar Key lock should be fitted.
