We had a great lunch here today the roast was great as always. Brilliant option to be able to choose all of your meal then have it plated and brought to your table the portions were huge. We also had an amazing waiter, Dave who was very knowledgeable about everything that you serve and very polite and funny. A great asset to the Waterfront well done Dave.

Went out for a meal today after dreading it for ages the service was amazing excellent social distancing however the main best bit is the menu!
taking my son out is a nightmare due to multiple allergies however waterfront have all their allergens on the main menu! it saves so much hassle and has made the experience so much enjoyable! Will be making this our meal spot from now on!

Staff are amazing in these covid — 19 times. Wearing masks that are itchy and uncomfortable, very polite and accommodating. Feel at ease. Well done westward ho!

It has a relaxed atmosphere, staff are polite, we went as a party of 8 on a Sunday, it was extremely busy but we managed to get seated in the smaller room (old pool table room) it was very hot in there not just said by our table but by other diner's too, we couldn't open sliding doors as the people that sat next to doors were to cold, air con would of been a solution. The food came out hot & didn't take a long time to come out to us, the majority of our table enjoyed their food, the only couple things I would say is the chicken korma that was ordered was definitely more like a tikka (spice wise) it wasn't a creamy light sauce it was red in colour, also the poppadom was soft & chewy not crisp. We had 2 fish order's they looked yummy but both of the fish had loads of bones in, which put one diner off completely! we didn't want to say anything due to the staff being rushed of their feet.

We are staying here tonight… the bedroom is very cosy (warm). Clean. Comftable. Decided to try the carvery. It was very very nice. The price was very nice as well. Staff really helpfull and friendly.

Had the carvery Thursday lunchtime, excellent value good choice of vegetables one of the nicest I've had.

We ordered 2 pizzas absolutely fab but couldn't eat it all so the lovely girl behind the bar fetched 2 trays to wrap up the rest to take home. Friendly staff lovely food. A good pint and perfect location.

Stopped here for lunch whilst visiting Westward Ho for the day, excellent food! Ordered the Bacon/Cheese Burger and it was very delicious and fresh. Could tell that the food was all freshly made and what an amazing amount for such a good price too. Staff very friendly and would well recommend to anyone else.

We didn't feel particularly welcome when visiting with our 10 month old son. We had to ask where the highchairs were as they are hidden out by the toilets rather than being easily accessible. We were also disappointed by the carvery which only had a choice of two meats (Pork and Beef).

We have had just one night stay en route to Padstow. What a beautiful room and bathroom. All beautifully layed out and the biggest bath sheet ever. Superb. Service, breakfast and accommodation was all excellent. Definitely would stay again if this way.

Had a lovely Carvery with my family, great value for money & amazing live band evening entertainment. Would highly recommend The Waterfront Inn to all. 10/10 A++

Freindly staff, comfortable rooms, nice play area for kids outside and games room, fairy good meals and a lovely location right next to the sea. Now here's the bad bit it can be noisy until half eleven at night as down stairs as it is a pub and you can hear the pounding of music (the actual words of them on a bad night) with the window closed and shouting of customers especially on their way out which woke my kids up. Would be five stars if they knocked it off at 11pm.

After the hotel we stayed in in Barnstaple, I was shocked when I opened the door. What a gem! The rooms are large, decorated tastefully, bright and cheerful, exceptionally clean, and the staff cannot be more accomodating. Kettle, tea, coffee, biscuits and all the fixings hit the spot after our long drive (in the room. ) I did not eat breakfast, but my husband said it was fine. We had two different rooms since we decided to stay another night. One was over the outside deck, the other faced the street (and sea! ). Both were very quiet at night, so much that the sea lulled me to sleep. Unfortunately, we live far away, or we would be back every month!

Just arrived to a very friendly welcome. Showed up to room and offered to carry bags up for me. Stayed in the Puffin. Beautiful rooms, 2 bedrooms, absolutely spotless and fresh. View of sea from bedroom window. Literally just over the road. Masses of outdoor seating at front and rear. Great selection of beers and spirits especially the gin. Menu adequate and not expensive. Children are catered for here with a games room and a good size outdoor play area. Overall a brilliant 1st impression.

We spent quite a lot of time in here, putting food in our faces. The food is absolutely delicious, from chips, to curries to their carvery. The staff are friendly and the place is clean and fresh. There's a stack of outdoor seating and dogs are welcome. They have a small player area in the back for the kids and they serve a range of nice beers. I believe this is owned by Braddick's who also own the local caravan park and the arcades opposite The Waterfront Inn. If you're looking for somewhere nice to eat and relax, try this place!

We had drinks from the bar. Above average prices for the area, probably because of the great location near the seafront. There is a great large garden with play area for children and good shelter from the wind. Beer tasted well kept. Reasonably clean pub. Would definitely visit again.

Family and dog friendly place. Foods are nice and we really enjoyed.

Beef was very fatty and chewy. Potatoes were very sweet. Carrots were very overdone. For the price — not very good value.

After spending more than £40 on food and drinks this afternoon, and sitting outside in the sun I was unlucky enough that a gust of wind knocked my table indicator sign (non optional and given to me by the bar girl) over and spilled my fresh un touched pint over the table and my wallet. However, I was somewhat surprised when I informed the bar girl she wouldnt replace my pint and told me that I had to buy another! Im fairly sure many establishments would have replaced my pint, especially as Ive spent thousands in the waterfront over the years, due to living within walking distance. Spoiled an other wise pretty decent meal even though the food order was slightly wrong — (got and paid for a cheesy chips we didn't order though) I suggest adding some weight to your table indicator signs however next time im in the village for food ill likely venture elsewhere.

Overall looked a nice place, but tables weren't cleaned properly, a bit sticky. Had a carvery, too much pepper in/on food, not everyone likes it. And some of the veg, eg carrots were dry and that was just by looking at them.

Great location… Friendly staff. Lovely clean comfortable and spacious room. Great breakfast and carvery was awesome. Some noise from bar but we expected that. Would have highly recommended and returned but all was spoilt by noise from the next door room on second night. Seemed to be some sort of after hours party with a staff member going on. Such a shame as it spoilt it for us.

Have been a few times for Sunday carvery and as always it was very good. Fresh veg, good selection of meat and nice and friendly staff.

Lovely family pub and games room. Free quiz every Sunday evening which is fun. Prices aren't exceptional but they're OK. Food is good though.

We enjoyed a lovely carvery lunch. Very tasty indeed. Beef, pork and gammon, lots of choice of veg and potatoes. Value for money and excellent quality of food. The puddings are to die for! Would highly recommend.
