Fantastic holiday park and great location already booked again for next year 😁

This site is so well managed, clean and friendly, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The waves coming up to shore and rolling the pebbles is so relaxing to sleep to at night. The owners and staff are first class, covid precautions are taken seriously and nothing too much trouble, a 5 min walk gets you to the green seating area complete with Hockings ice cream van who sell amazing ice cream

Our first time as a family in Devon & Westward Ho! From the moment of arrival everything ran perfectly, collected our keys and went to our apartment overlooking the sea. View was stunning and loved sitting watching and listening to the sea. Our apartment was as equally stunning, everything you could need and the kids loved it. We would come and go all day long and nobody bothered us and had no reasons to speak with the hosts. Our apartment was so nice, it’s the sort of place you could live in forever. We will be back sometime in the future. All the best for the rest of the season

This is our 5th time at Beachside and once again, not a bad thing to say about it. From the moment we pulled up and checked in, everything was perfect. Always a friendly greeting at reception and when the dreaded moment comes to checking out, they are always polite and friendly. The caravans are always spotless and the cleaners are a credit to Beachside. The extra mile they go to make sure everything is Covid friendly, really does make you feel safe in these unusual times. We stopped in the Swan 37 again and it really does feel like a home from home. Wonderful sea views and we would never stop anywhere else in Westward Ho! Would always recommend Beachside to anyone and we shall be back again once our little boy is born next year and show him his mummy and daddy’s favourite place :) Thank you Beachside for another great stay from the Albutt’s :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at westward Ho! The puffin accommodation was spotless and had everything you needed. The views from our veranda were incredible! The site itself is very clean and well look after. We loved walking along the prom and were pleased with the little shops and food outlets. Well done to the staff in this difficult and unprecedented time. We will be back one day for sure.

Just got home after spending Christmas week at Beachside Holiday Park. There was a good festive feel in the park and in Westward Ho itself. The mince pies, clotted cream and Christmas tree that were waiting for us in the caravan was a lovely thought. I can thoroughly recommend spending Christmas in a caravan overlooking the sea.

Absolutely spotless caravan. Arrived to find the heating on, lovely and warm. Clotted cream, mince pies and a Christmas tree… how lovely. A nice touch was the cleaning pack of scourers, cloths and washing up liquid. All the cooking utensils you need, beautifully maintained, cannot fault this place x.

Clean tidy well kept park friendly staff lovely sea views can highly recommend.

Our accommodation was perfect, upon arriving everything was nice & clean, it was very modern & up to date, & the Holiday Park itself is very well maintained & spotless, it’s in the most perfect setting right in front of the beach with amazing views.

Beachside is the best campsite in Devon. W heave been staying in the site in various different caravans for 35 years. The vans are clean, well equipped and all have a brilliant view of the sea. Any problems are dealt with quickly and cheerfully. Many thanks.

We love it here and return year after year. Love the fact that once we are here there is plenty to entertain on the doorstep without having to drive anywhere. Also love the quiet, homely feel to the park. The renewal and updating of the caravans over the last 2years has paid off with the park feeling fresh and modern rather than worn and tired. Fantastic!

The best place for your holidays I have been hear 5 times now and the stay is so relaxed.

A small park with limited facilities but is very well maintained by freindly staff and only a 5-10 minute walk from the local amenities including beachfront, amusements, restaurants and supermarkets.

Our family had an absolutely fantastic holiday, Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome, all staff really do go above & beyond in making you feel at home, site and location is fantastic too, we really can not fault anything. Would highly recommend you.

Great site, lovely staff and close to beach. Short walk to town. Caravans clean and well equipped. Nice and quiet, no loud club house or bar.

Lovely holiday and perfect location for family days out and amazing view of the sea from your caravan. Amazing to be able to walk along the stretch of beach without needing a car to get there and plenty of ice cream vans/parlours nearby, pubs, fish and chips, crepes and pancakes, arcades and games for the kids. Will definitely come again.

Having a lovely time, still here until Friday. Caravans clean, tidy and ok for size for a family of four, (2 teenaged) kids. Would recommend.

The apartments are Outstanding accommodation! Nice quiet retreat with beach access and close to all you'd want to visit.

Love staying here doesn't need a club house there's plenty of drinking and eating places off site 10 minutes from the beach which is very clean, Bideford and Appledore is a 5minute drive away.

Heating is a bit scary/temperamental but did work. Beds are quite small, single beds really better for children but living area is lovely. Very well equipped with cooker, microwave, kettle and toaster and pack of basic cleaning up stuff. Nice site, well looked after and not too big. Bit of a walk to the beach across muddy 'dunes', but good access to the beach and all amenities in the town, 10 minute walk away. Good value for money.

I have been visiting surf bay for over 20 years and have no intention of stopping. A very good holiday park families.

Myself, My husband, my sister and My dad have just returned from a fabulous stay here 3rd March 2018 the week of storm Emma and the beast from the east snow, firstly I need to thank them, for changing the dates of our holiday, we were due to come last october, but due to my sister being critically ill, And very nearly looseing her life, we were not able to come, but rather than loose our money, they allowed us to change dates, so this was a very special holiday for us, with my sister surviving, but her recovery has been very slow and she is only around 40% well at the moment, so comfort was important, we stayed in number 20 which is a lovely modern, warm, very clean, spacious caravan with the addition of an amazing hot tub, which we did use 2-3 times but as the weather became worse, we weren't brave enough!

Nice park with a small amount of caravans. Modern with plenty of open space for children to play. In walking distance of the beach, shops, pubs & places to eat. Good base to see the surrounding areas.

Wow. The caravan did not lack for anthing. We had a nath and a few nodels have a jacuzzi. Friendly staff and lots to do eithin a short walk or drive. Well situated for local attractions. Will go again.

My wife and I have been coming here for many years and we love it, the staff are friendly and helpful. The site is perfect, clean, and, well kept and maintained. The site is dog friendly, Duncan is always ready to help and advise. Surf Bay holiday park is perfect if you want a quiet and a relaxing holiday. There is so much to see and to do in this part of the world, public transport is excellent, if you love walking and the Tarka trail is brilliant for cycling or walking. I would highly recommend.

My family and I stayed in a pipet caravan on this site last week. It is a beautiful site and the caravan although the cheapest on the site was immaculate and we could not fault it in any way, I would thoroughly recommend it.

Great caravan park with only a 10 minute walk in to the town and beach. Excellent location and spotless site. There is a large grassed area in the middle of the park with football nets so ideal for the children. We had a problem with electrics one morning and it was sorted within minutes by the staff would definitely return.

A very professionally run facility, with modern well presented caravans set in a clean and tidy park. Reception and laundry areas are very good, and you are only a 10 minute walk from Westward Ho! We had a hot tub with our caravan which is highly recommended. Very peaceful and relaxing, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We go on holiday here twice a year every year. Its a beautiful site and the new owners have done wonders with it.

Just back after a weeks holiday. Caravan was lovely. Harvey and Bridget were very friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again. And would recommend to friends and family :-)
