I love going into Route 2, the staff are Fab and coffee deeelish. A great place to hang out.

Great tea and very friendly service.

Staff are not welcoming, miserable staff that don't seem to want to do anything, asked for fresh water for my dog as it was dirty and they seemed very annoyed I asked for them to do this. I am sure you wouldn't want to drink warm dirty water so why should my dogs, avoid this place and go to the globe they are welcome and friendly.

Popped in for breakfast on Monday, had the full route which was tremendous.
5* quality all local ingredients too much for my good lady but just right for me.
Will be back on our next visit when down from Cardiff

I think Route 2 is absolutely amazing! Service is always friendly and fast even in busy times. The food is always spot on, and the cakes (which I admittedly have more of) never fail to hit the spot. I drink a lot of coffee and the Crankhouse Coffees served are up there. A perfect set up for a café, keep doing what you're doing!

Excellent bike hire. We hired a group of bikes from Liz at Route 2, all spot on with no issues and excellent service. Worth checking out the stock too for any bargains.

Charming! Hired the tandem and tried some electric bikes. Convenient location, loved the cycle path. Liz is informative, relaxed and very helpful. Well worth a visit.

Fantastic local bike shop. Liz, who runs it, was really helpful and knowledgeable. Did a great job servicing my bike, it rides better than ever and Liz even diagnosed the mystery noise it's had for ages (seat post, who knew). Very reasonable workshop prices too. The shop has a great selection for a small place, bikes and gear for all sorts of cyclists; will definitely be back.

These guys are soooo professional and helpful — massively recommended.

I would highly recommend Route 2 for bike servicing. Liz (who runs it) is really friendly and helpful. She did a great job with my road bike and only charged for what was needed rather than a set service cost. The work was done very quickly and to a great standard. She took the time to give me advice about maintenance. Highly recommended.

My favourite place to sit with a coffee, read my book and watch the world go by. Delicious food, fantastic friendly, lovely staff and all in a lovely setting. Our lazy breakfasts are something we both look forward too. Thank you so much.

Popped in for a bite to eat and loved it. Ham and Brie sandwich was the best we've had in a long time. Will visit again.

We popped in for a light lunch with my Nieces and had a really great experience. Everyone was friendly and made us feel welcome, the kids meals were perfect and the childrens hot chocolate at just the right temperature to drink. Have to say that my brie and ham sandwich was awesome!

Popped in for coffee and cake during a gentle Sunday spin. Coffee was great, cake was huge and staff very friendly. I will be back.

Incredibly friendly and accommodating laid-back staff, great place for a quality coffee and breakfast or a cheeky scone after a bike ride or walk. Products are all locally sourced and the Wi-Fi is pretty speedy! Great place, even greater food and fantastic people :)

Amazing bike shop with brilliant staff! This place completely saved the day by helping us out when we got two punctures on our pushchair. Very friendly and helpful staff and could even enjoy a coffee whilst the job was being done!

Cracking little shop, brilliant staff and extremely well stocked — even had 2 replacement inner tubes for our pushchair!

Fixed my broken spoke, great cafe whilst I waited, saved my ride and were extremely helpful. Fantastic!

Just off Tospham Quay, right on Route 2 — Exe Valley Cycle Trail. Great Cafe / Bar serving lovely breakfasts and superb coffee. We recently stayed in an apartment, Estuary, for a couple of nights — above the Cafe with views of the River Exe. Very pleasant, relaxed, friendly and efficient plus lots about Cycling — and a very good Bike Shop at the back of the premises as well Topsham's an ideal location for making the most of the Exe Estuary cycle trails on each side of the River Exe. Enjoy rides down to Exmouth, across the Starcross Ferry and then on to Dawlish, or back up via Powderham Castle to Turf Locks for some outdoor dining and then cycle back around Countess Wear to Topsham. Highly recommended!

Excellent breakfast and coffee Also serves the wonderful Topsham Ales beer which is brewed round the corner.

Can recommend this as a very nice place for a tea, cake, meal, snack, drink etc. Plus, it has a cycle shop!

The service and atmosphere was great, topped off with being eco-friendly and having a bike repair service and inexpensive local food, you can't get much better.
