Beautiful hotel very clean. Fab breakfast. Lovely position for beach and town centre. Will definitely be going back.

We arrived for a two night stay, very welcoming, the hotel was spotless. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were friendly. Car park was just a 5 minute walk and was £4 for 24hrs. Would definitely stay again.

Loved it. You guys were so helpful and kind and made our trip so seamless. Great location. Great facilities and you guys are almost as cute as your babies.

Great B+B. Lovely English Breakfast, Hotel situated by the seafront but has no car park. Nearest car park a few hundred yards away £3.80 per day. Room was well equipped and service very good. Would stay again.

Had a lovely time at The Thornhill. Lovely room with a sea view, friendly staff that were attentive without being intrusive. Fabulous choice of breakfast, freshly made to order and tasted divine. Had a really good stay, room lovely and clean bed comfy and the breakfast yummy also wonderful people who make you at ease from entering the front door.

It was our first time visiting Teighnmouth, it's a beautiful seaside town, the Thornhill is a really lovely hotel, small and cosy place, lovely big room, great breakfast, nice waitresses, and the couple that run the hotel Ian and sandy are a really nice and friendly and can't do enough for you, we will definetly be visiting again.

Two days in and I am happy with my room, lovely breakfast and pleasant staff.

Really good small hotel on the seafront. Parking can be a problem but the effort is worth it. Nice full English to start the day.

I highly recommend The Thornhill: the rooms are very nice, comfortable and clean, the owners are kind, welcoming and helpful, the breakfast is delicious, and the poit at whitch is located is perfect. I couldn't ask for more! Five stars full deserved.

Absolutely delightful stay, I loved it. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Such cosy rooms and very well maintained, breakfast was amazing couldn't get enough. It was lovely that staff would just stop to talk to you about how your doing and showed an interest in us. Very helpful with luggage. Even gave us a bag full of jam Overall Defiantly a massive 10 out of 10.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at Thornhill Hotel. It's a lovely place. Very clean. Extremely comfortable bed. The breakfast is also excellent and the owners are friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again in the future.

A group of us stayed at the Thornhill for just one night in June. Although it was a vert short stay we were all very impressed by the level of personal service, friendliness and hospitality of the owners.

We stayed at the thornhill for 4 days on the 24th august 2012 we stop at a lot of hotels for short holidays and to say this hotel was the best stay for a long long time the hotel is spotless clean the bedrooms and showers are excellent, the breakfasts are just second to none nice little bar prices reasonable, the proprioters Brian and Nicola are extremely nice people and make you very very welcome excellent holiday thanks to you both Terry and Sylvia Colclough Stoke On Trent.

Maybe I stayed on difficult days but I found the owners Cath and Roger less than welcoming. On one morning I was there Cath was giving a German lady a hard time because her English was not perfect. I could understand her order but Cath couldnt and I overheard her mumbling not so nice thoughts as she walked away. On another Roger was giving a guest a hard time over the price of the room which I believe had changed overnight. Lovelyl hotel let down by less friendly owners. I wouldnt stay there again.
