Great food, great helpful staff, fantastic food & a lovely hotel. Steph and the team are all doing a fantastic job.

Amazing weekend with my 7yr old son. The Hotel was perfect for our first trip away. Perfect location, car parked outside, FRIENDLY staff that couldn’t do enough to help and always had a smile. We throughly enjoyed the breakfast selections and my son said he felt like a king! Great lounge that looks out to the seafront, we spent most the day Sunday in their and had the most FANTASTICALLY YUMMY afternoon tea which is a must! Our room was perfect and serviced daily. We didn’t go into the bar for the nightly entertainment but it sounded fab from our room across the hallway and guests seemed to enjoy it too added bonus was it didn’t go on too late so the hotel went quiet for a good nights sleep before breakfast. Nice option of ordering a packed lunch for the journey home which again was yummy and a nice touch. Already looking at dates to go back and visit again.

Just back in Southampton after three nights in Paignton… amazing old school seafront hotel with friendly staff and good food! big shout out to claire and the rest of the restaurant/bar staff and the housekeeping team. The service from everyone involved was excellent! hopefully see you again someday. 👍👍

Had a very warm welcome on entering the hotel then shown to your room which you don’t get that often & the room is outstanding for the money, all staff are very polite & I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is in a really good location, close to the seafront & also the town & bus/train stations Nicola the manager & her staff were excellent from when we arrived to when we left, our room was spacious, clean & modern, the food menu offered a good variety & the food was always hot & served very quickly no waiting a long time between courses.

The hotel is in a great position overlooking the bay. It is close to all amenities and very near to the town centre with the bus and train stations within easy reach. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The food is great and the staff are welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be returning!

Excellent hotel we’ve been coming here for years and will continue to do so, staff are friendly, cheerful and always go out of their way to make you feel welcome! Also in a great location there’s so many things to do in the area would recommend to anyone looking for a nice family holiday or for adults only wouldn’t stay anywhere else in the area.

Great evening food staff really pleasant no faults whatsoever 10/10 plus bonus points highly recommended.

Spent Twixmas at the Marine Hotel. First time visitors what a lovely hotel. Staff were helpful, food was fantastic and company was wonderful. Would highly recommend you stay.

Lovely hotel right on the waterfront food very good although a bit disorganised size of the rooms very good loved staying there.

For the Airshow the location was great, free parking, Room/ensuite clean and our room had a perfect view, staff were very helpful. Having the tea/coffee facilities in the room was good but lacked a biscuit haha.

What a great hotel. Just had 5 days there with Buckleys of Blaxton. Tea and coffee on arrival then checked in. The room we had had duel aspect the park on one side and sea front at the other. The staff are fantastic nothing is to much trouble. The food is all very well cooked and plentiful. The entertainment is very very good even Sharons bingo. All in all a very good place to stay.

Went here with my quilting group for a stitching weekend on a turkey and tinsel party. Can not fault. Had a fabulous weekend.

A superb christmas break in a lovely comfortable hotel right on the seafront. The food and festive fare was amazing.

Another weekend away at the Marine with the usual crowd of girls. As ever the staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, and the meals were lovely. A little bit disappointed with the Saturday entertainment this time, but that is out of the control of the hotel. Booked again for next year. A great place for. Festive weekend.

We just stayed down there this weekend and the hotel was brilliant. The staff was all amazing. Hotel / rooms was always clean. Food was lovelying. Would I stay there again 100% thanks.

Nice food. Very pleasant staff. Great location. And clean pleasant rooms. Only fault I could find no Wi-Fi in rooms. Bar area only.

The hotel was lovely, and all the staff were very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble for anyone. With the amount of guests, they still remembered little details of what you liked. I would highly recommend this hotel, 5 * should be higher.
