A M A Z I N G! Such a warming, inviting cosy pub! Staff were lovely and woweeeee the food was delightful 😊 Everything was perfect, the most yummiest food.

We've just got back from a week staying in Frogmore & visited the Globe Inn for either dinner or drinks every evening!
What a great pub you have! The beer & food were great but the landlady (& staff) were just so lovely & friendly. She always came & chatted with us & never forgot our dogs name!

Found this place due to working in the area and needing to stay. This is my third time returning to stay here and just booked the next night already. Really nice rooms, rustic/modern pub. Good selection of drink and food to die for. The couple who run it are superb! Plenty of off road parking. What more can I say apart from if I’m in the area this is my first place to try for accommodation.

We had a really really nice meal. The food was lovely, decent beer on tap and friendly service.

Just back from a fabulous weekend, staying at The Globe Inn. We we’re welcomed from the moment we stepped in the door, all staff are very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing, all freshly cooked using locally sourced produce.
Our room was excellent, quiet, clean and very comfortable…
We will definitely stay again when we fancy another couple of days away,

Great staff and fantastic food!

My husband and I took our young girls our for a evening meal and we were not disappointed.
The food was fantastic, my husband had the burger and he said it was the best burger that he has ever had. They have a good selection on their menu and the girls throughly enjoyed ever bit but especially their desserts!
All the staff were very welcoming and attentive. We also has the pleasure of sitting and having a chat outside with the landlady who was so friendly. We shall definitely be returning.

Thank you Globe Inn. Had the best seafood pancake I have had in years. Did not really need the chips I ordered on the side. Walt loved his real steak and ale pie and managed to help me out with the chips will be back again. Thank you.

Had a steak & ale pie, not very nice at all wife had curry dried up reheated. Gaffer not very happy looks like he don't want to be there anymore. Good beer tho.

Went for a meal with our family here tonight. What a wonderful place. The Landlord was working which is always a good sign of a well run establishment. Cracking food, beautiful. Cracking service and a Lovely setting. A definite place to go.

We liked it here. Good car park off a fast narrow main road. On the bus route to Kingsbridge. Good beer, friendly staff and good food. Good outside seating area.

Lovely place. Have eaten here, drank here and stayed here. Super clean, no dogs thankfully, nice mix of locals and visitors. Pricing is about right on balance probably just about worth it. Really nice owners and lovely staff. In an area with lots of great options you won't be disappointed choosing this place.

Just had a 3 night stay at this place, everything about it was spot on — clean comfortable quiet rooms, delicious home cooked meals, and pleasant owners and staff. I would recommend the Globe Inn to anyone wishing to stay in this area.

Extremely friendly helpful staff. Rooms were really nice and the ensuite shower was the most powerful I've ever been in. Both the evening meals and breakfasts were cooked well with quality ingredients. Highly recommend.

Hadn't visited the Globe for years, was recommended it for this evening. Arrived about 8pm was met by a rather brisk lady who wanted to know if we'd booked — we hadn't even got to the bar! Husband quick off the mark said only if she had a table so then we'd book! We were reminded that 'its bank holiday weekend, you know! ' As there appeared to be plenty of tables we were shown to one by another lady. Had mussels as starter off special list — was stitched up on examining bill later as was over charged as itemized as main! Seafood pancake, seafood salad excellent, portion of chips a little soggy, sadly, but followed by delicious homemade treacle tart to share. Good selection of local beers and ciders. Reasonably priced other than mussels!

We stayed at the Globe Inn last weekend. We did a last minute booking over the phone, all dealt with efficiently and we couldn't wait to get there. We didn't arrive until fairly late evening and got a friendly warm welcome and shown to our room. Fantastic room, (family suite), a double and a single with en suite shower and WC, felt like home from home. Very comfortable beds, fresh smelling sheets, lovely pillows and warm sheets/duvets. Tea/coffee facilities in the room as well as complimentary toiletries in bathroom. Hairdryer also available. We didn't eat an evening meal that night (late arrival at hotel) however breakfast in the morning was served fresh hot and delicious. We cannot fault this place in any way, many guests had their dogs with them and yet it was faultlessly clean and fresh throughout the hotel. We were unfortunately booked elsewhere on our second evening however on arrival there we couldn't stay (long story, but cut short not a patch on the Globe! ) and made our way back to the Globe Inn. Again, we didn't eat an evening meal at the restaurant due to our other booking, however the meals we saw served looked and smelt amazing, didn't see anyone complaining and all plates were cleared! Again, made to feel very welcome again, so much so that we are already planning another visit very soon!

Great stay from start to finish and made to feel very welcome. Dinner was excellent, we had the seafood pancake and seafood linguini, both amazing. Room was very comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was perfect too. Sat out in the sun on the lovely terrace beer garden before we left. Well run place and will be back again.

Good service. Nice setting, we sat outside with the dogs. It was fairly busy but food was prompt, hot and very nice. We will return to The Globe Inn if we're ever in this part of Devon again.

Dinner for 7 including three children. They made sure we were placed in the quieter area and we were made to feel welcome. The menu doesn't have the widest selection available, but there were also some specials and all was nicely done. Children's menu also available. Seems to get busy for dinner so booking advisable.

It a very nice place to stay. All my colleagues love to stay here. Delicious food, warm, nice rooms and nice beer. The people that run the hotel are the nicest people you could ever meet. I can't wait to stay at The Globe again. It's a beautiful part of England and staying at The Globe is the icing on the cake for me. Thank you.

We ate here twice over 2 days — seafood pancake and steak pie on Saturday and the pork roast on Sunday. Both food and drink were great. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Nice atmosphere, its clear most of the customers were locals. We would really recommended this pub to anyone staying in the Kingsbridge area.

Very comfortable accommodation, very friendly, helpful staff, fantastic food — ate there every night of our 4 night stay so we could try lots of choice on the menu, breakfast amazing and cooked by the lovely owner. Would definitely recommend it especially if you are a dog owner.

Easy enough to find and get to, beautiful location. Room was perfectly clean and very comfortable. Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Good food too. Would've liked to see a wider range of beer and cider, but overall staying here was a good experience. Would recommend.

Nice hotel. Well kept beer, if nothing super interesting. Rooms were nicely appointed, bed was comfy. Dogs allowed in the bar. Food was tasty and in good quantity. Staff were very friendly.

I know whenever I visit here I will greeted with a smile, the atmosphere is friendly and the staff all so welcoming. The Globe Inn is a smart pub with luxury accommodation and excellent food. It's also the perfect stop for lunch after a walk along the foreshore of the Kingsbridge — Salcombe Estuary.

We love this place when ever we are there the owners make us fully welcome and our 2 dogs. We have had great meals for a happy price. would reccomend you try this place.

Excellent. Nice pub with 4 good real ales. Tasty food at a good price. Puddings superb. Also pizza. Breakfasts spot on Has 8 rooms very clean and comfortable. Wifi. Local shop for daily papers nearby. Really friendly staff. recommended go there.

Went for a meal here on the first night of our holiday. Couldn't fault the food. I had a fantastic streak and ale pie, full of meat and a lovely creamy mash. Recommended if you're in the area.

Lovely, friendly establishment. Nicely cooked and presented food with a good selection of beers. Well behaved children are welcome, even if they are put in the 'family section'. Had an excellent meal which was reasonably priced.

Even at the height of the summer season, we have been delighted that The Globe staff have been welcoming and superbly efficient. Food is always good and served promptly. As regular visitors to the South Hams, we see a great variety of hospitality businesses which are "flashes in the pan". The Globe is thankfully a benchmark constant: family owned and run, worthy of regular visits! Must not forget to mention the selection of proper cask beer, which is consistently well kept.
