Having dined at Instow Barton before which was a lovely setting and outstanding food. Purchased vouchers as gifts for family to experience too. We have now supported them during this awful time with their Saturday Night Takeaway and bread Keep up the amazing work Caroline and Colin. We look forward to dining with you again soon x.

An amazing place, Caroline is so lovely. The room is stunning and everything you could ask for. The food is first class. Dora (Sprocker) loved it too x.

Our second visit and again absolutely incredible. The food is outstanding, the venue is beautiful and Caroline is the best host. Cannot wait to return, and meet the new puppies. Cannot recommend more highly.

We had a fabulous meal here on Saturday night! Was our first visit and certainly won't be our last! It was amazing! The canapes and cocktail were lovely and such a nice touch to start the evening. It just has a very cosy and homely feel, it was a very wintery night so it was the perfect place to be :) Would definitely recommend and cant wait to come back again in the near future! Caroline was so lovely and friendly, all in all, it's just perfect :)

What a super place — the service you receive is friendly and personal — our bed was super comfy — the food what can I say truly wonderful. I have eaten in some of the best places around the world — none better than what I ate last night. The vegetables were grown in the garden the meat was cooked to perfection. The prawn dish I had to start was so good and moorish — you start with cocktail and canapés so very tasty. Everything here is done with care and love. Well worth a stopover.

Super comfortable rooms, big size bed, superb breakfast, very efficient service.

A lovely warm welcome and made us feel very relaxed. Beautiful large room with a view of the church. Breakfast was wonderful. Fresh fruit creamy yogurt. Home made bread granola. Great coffee and cooked breakfast perfect eggs.
Caroline and Colin are the perfect hosts.
I had the most horrible job to do by clearing my parents home. Made much more bearable by having some were peaceful and relaxing to return to for a few days. Thank you.

Lovely place to stay, just far enough from the beach area, but close enough to walk. Dog friendly, well appointed and friendly. Great for a weekend exploration base.

A beautiful place, we managed to escape for a few days last Summer for my Birthday. Beautifully decorated, immaculately clean rooms. Dinner in the restaurant was absolutely gorgeous. The cocktail with dinner was a lovely treat too! Oh and yummy afternoon tea every day. My LG was very poorly at the time (and with us) and they couldn’t have been more accommodating, it was the prefect break and we can’t wait to return! Stunning surroundings and very stunning accommodation. Polite and friendly throughout our stay, couldn’t have been more helpful.

We stayed one night at Instow Bartow, at the end of a three week trip around the countryside. After a variety of lodgings and restaurants, Instow Barton topped them all. The menu was divine, especially the appetizers and cocktail. Our room had a view of the church and was spacious and lovely.

What a fantastic place and wonderful meal, cannot thank u enough for the spectacular food and hospitality we received! Totally recommend this place if u are fortunate enough to eat there x x.

I can not recommend this place highly enough. The warm welcome and friendly atmosphere are 2nd to none, bring the amazing food into the mix and you've got the makings for an excellent evening, which is exactly what we had when celebrating our friends 25th wedding anniversary. If you are coming here for dinner I would say go for it and have the steak and sauce, they are just A M A Z I N G, no steak knife needed as the meat is just So soft and cooked to perfection.
