Just had a 3 night stay here and the owners were lovely and friendly, the room was large and the bathroom was modern. Lots of tea, coffee, hot choc & biscuit and the bathroom was fully loaded with shampoo’s cotton pads ect… The breakfast was delicious with lots to choose from we always left with very full tummies. Would highly recommend and would definitely return. 5 from us.

Great little family hideaway in super location. We had an apartment for the 3 of us which was ideal. Plenty of parking which is one less worry as stayed places before where parking is tight. Friendly owner who is always on hand should you need any help with anything. Lovely comfy double bed, bunk beds for kids which my son loved. Lynton town is not far away which has a mix of shops which are worth a visit plus an excellant fish & chip shop. Will stay here again as it has everything you need.

Great little hotel, run by a lovely couple. Friendly, welcoming and accomodating. Local towns are great for days out as well as long (and short) walks. The hotel is right next to a miniature steam train which is great for a little ride.

Great place for a week of comfort and elegance — Dessie and Mark are great hosts.

Amazing friendly hosts, beautiful old building and stunning grounds. Loved the family suite and all the nice little extras. Will definitely stay again.

Booked 2 bedrooms apartment on second floor, number 9, for 4 nights.
New updated bathroom, with a shower and seperate corner bath.
Bigger kitchen for cooking dinner, Very spacious lounge dining area.
Located in a country setting, surrounded by bigger trees in natural park.
Hosts are very friendly, helpful with free Wi-Fi internet. Excellent service.

Accomodation is superb, lovely friendly hosts, great breakfast and beautiful views. Would definitely recommend.

Very comfy and homely! They are both lovely people. The room was a good size and was clean. The breakfast was very good indeed. Hope to be returning soon.

Excellent service, everything is presented with simplicity and elegance in English style in the complete silence of nature. Yummy breakfast with fresh produce and local produce. Fabulous park with bright colors. The walk with the historic train then you breathe scents and times past.
Tasty and quaint as well as the pub just 5 m by car a local of 700.

I landed here at 9:30pm with a lovely receptionist waiting for my arrival! I told her I was starving hungry and she phoned up the cottage inn and asked them to keep there restaurant open to feed me! That's service! I felt comfy and at home very respected and will definatly come again. Thank you to the staff you were brilliant!

Stayed there last weekend with a group of male friends. Very little not to recommend about the hotel. Only slight gripe is that while the shower water was perfectly hot, water pressure was rather poor. I will be back — next time with my wife :-)
