Very nice B&B of the upscale category. An absolute recommendation! The rooms are large, very modern, tasteful and stylishly decorated. The breakfast room is a highlight and the served breakfast is excellent. The hotel is located just above the city, which is easy to get into the city. High it's a bit onerous. Overall class house and very professional and nice landlord.

My wife and l spent two nights in this excellent b&b. The rooms were spotlessly clean with everything you need. We had a cooked breakfast both mornings with the scrambled eggs a highlight. The b&b is ten minutes walk to the town down some quite steep roads but we found taxis and buses easier to get back up after food and drink. Neil and Neville were both very polite and helpful. We would both stay again.

Set on a very steep hill in a quiet road this b&b is definitely not boutique (I think you can charge more if you add the word boutique)! Nicely decorated (if you like grey) with great views, it’s run by a couple called Neil and Neville. Neil is the level headed one that works front of house for good reason. Neville on the other hand is the hot headed, gobby diva that hides behind the scenes; he’s definitely not a people person. The establishment was half full when we stayed for two nights in room 6. We hardly slept the first night due to the mattress being as hard as the floor so politely asked the waitress the next morning if it was possible for the mattress to be changed. I explained that I have a bad back so this was quite important. She said she’d ask and maybe we could change rooms. Neil shortly afterwards came to our room and told us the same mattresses were in all rooms except a couple which we were not offered (probably because they didn’t want to upgrade us). We were given a pathetically thin mattress topper that made no difference whatsoever. Onto our second night — We had driven to the venue in our camper van and parked it in the top tier of the two tiered car park. As we wanted to sleep better on the second night my husband moved the van to the lower tier nearer to the front door so he could bring in our own memory foam mattress (I’ve never had to use my own mattress in a hotel before)!

This hotel is a really nice premises ideally situated in a quiet location but with 10 minutes walk from the historical Harbour. The rooms are well equipped and spotless. The owners are really helpful and friendly. The breakfast is freshly cooked.

Superb location overlooking the town of Dartmouth. First class standard, highly recommended!
