Great hosts, fantastic breakfasts, very clean accommodation. Worth a return visit without a doubt.

Stayed for a night on 10th August for my husbands birthday. Clean, quiet newly refurbed room (The Bakewell). Absolutely amazing full English breakfast and a lovely host. Well worth the money just for the view alone. Thank you x.

What a lovely B&B. Big smile from Sue and John on arrival and tea and cake on the patio after we had taken cases to our rooms. The beds are so comfy, the food is fantastic, the views awesome, its a home from home atmosphere. Would highly recomend, and if we return to Matlock, we would not think of annother hotel to use.

We stayed here for our honeymoon lovely and peaceful, they made us really welcome and the breakfast was really gorgeous worth a visit, lovely friendly people, carole and Andrew betts.

Perfect. The owners are lovely. The place is lovely and so is the food.

Lovely B&B in the hills at Matlock it is possible to walk up and down to the Matlock Bath or the Town if your legs can take the steep hills. We stayed in the Derwent Suite lovely big room with a large bathroom. On arrival we were offered tea or coffee and a lovely piece of choc cake which we eat sitting in the suite looking at the lovely views.
Breakfast was amazing I would not hesditate to recommend this hotel and would definitely visit again. Thank you Sue & John for your hospitality — it was a pleasure to meet you.

Lovely place, fantastic view and the breakfast was excellent… the room was really comfortable and the bathroom really clean and modern. We went for a wedding, but will definitely go back to visit Matlock and stay here again.

Very enjoyable stay, nice rooms and very nice location except the big hills and narrow roads aswell as a very good breakfast in the morning.

Lovely secluded family run B&B, very friendly owners, perfect room, clean and had everything we needed couldn't ask for anything more, hope to go back again one day.

We stayed here for two nights and it's a wonderful place with beautiful rooms, extremely clean and a lovely breakfast. The views are amazing, would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area.

We stayed 2 nights in the Derwent suite. Beautiful spacious room with stunning en suite bathroom. The real star of this room though is the gorgeous view from the bay windows! The house is situated in a very quiet and picturesque hillside location and the owners were brilliant, catering to our every need. Very welcoming and really made you feel right at home. Literally couldn't fault anything about our stay and can't wait to go back! Thank you :)

After returning after a weekend away, I can honestly say this is one of the nicest places me and my other half have stayed. From the minute we arrived, just being greeted at the front door makes you feel welcome, and it really is like going from home to home. We had a lovely trip, the views were absolutely beautiful! John and Sue were the greatest hosts and very helpful when it came to things to do and places to go! We were highly impressed on how clean and well presented everything was and they had even covered the tiny details. Which mean a lot! Highly recommended place to stay for the perfect relaxing trip away!
