Sitting out side as it's been a beautiful day. Food is usually good here, but the Chacho's for sharing we're not worth £11, we've had better elsewhere.

Great food, lovely outside area. Really impressed.

Just been down to the steaming billy and picked up THE BEST kebab I’ve ever eaten! Really well organised, socially distanced. 100% recommend and would definitely go again!

Lovely welcome, staff all lovely and friendly. Food was amazing, served straight away and had food within 20 minutes with lovely service. Definitely going back again.

The eat out discount only applies if you order food and drinks TOGETHER. So don’t order drinks first without food. Even when discount applied it was not £10 per person off and ended up being more expensive than should have been

I love this pub. Lovely bar staff, good service, great food and a lovely and spacious outside area to eat and drink. Wholly recommend.

Wow wow! I had the most amazing chicken kebab and chips and my boyfriend also had a burger, would definitely recommend. Can’t wait to order again.

All the trappings of a great pub, until you meet the staff and they make you feel at home.
If you don’t fancy a taxi, never mind they have rooms. Make yourself comfortable you may be staying a while.

Was made incredibly poorly by there negligence and lack of knowledge about allergies and intolerances, they admitted there mistake (via email) however there way of apology is offering me a free meal! Erm absolutely no way! You poisoned me once I’m certainly not coming back for more. Complaint made by email and after numerous attempts to solve this they have ignored me. Great service guys!.

Great Greek food. And half price on Mondays and Tuesday. Great friendly staff. Very clean. Lovely balcony restaurant and loads of different seating areas.

Friendly welcoming staff (Monday 25th June lunchtime) great menu. Had the halloumi fries & then tandoori chicken burger, one of the best burgers I’ve eaten.

One of staff was so horrible and nasty. I wouldnot recommend family or friend to come to visit and meal here. He was disrespect the ladies and nasty towards to us. The food is so disgusting and too much greasy. The service is very poor and no friendly staff.

Had a lovely night last night the food was amazing and all the staff were lovely and work really hard the view of the canal in the evening was stunning and the hotel on the back was heaven.

Just back from our 2nd stay at the bubble inn and will definitely be back! We went for our wedding anniversary! We were given a garden room which was lovely, we even got a card and a bunch of flowers! Fantastic freshly cooked breakfast and a beautiful meal last night! Credit to all the staff! Not too impressed with the service! Young girls tired after working all day. Having to ask staff to take our order and then wrong food brought out! Had to ask for bill then had to go to bar to pay! Food was lovely staff needs sorting for me to return as spoils the experience!

Me and my partner had a lovely meal at the restaurant. Food was lovely and well presented. I did notice as it got busier that service became very slow. But overall happy with the food and service.

Beautiful location to have a few drinks and something to eat! Reasonable prices and a good variety for all of the family. Especially nice in the summer as it is overlooking a canal type area.

Nice little place just out of the way. The view is good as it is next to the Stensen Marina. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming, nice and friendly staff. The food was of a great quality and tasted fresh, portion size was big. Price is a bit on the high side but it was expected.

After a unsatisfactory stay at Hallmark hotel in Mickleover, we set out to find a place to go and have a drink in the sunshine. We came across this place, which had a variety of groups, families, old friends, young friends, couples and dogs! As soon as we entered, we liked the vibe of the place and were made to feel v welcome. So much so we ended up having a carvery! It was delicious! A good variety of food, ales and wine. If we are back in the area, we will definitely return. Oh and it won Four in a Bed, in 2014.

Thank you so much to Connie, Natasha and their team of super duper staff for hosting our little one's christening — Catering for 70 adults and 15 children! great cosy atmosphere and lots of fantastic tasty food — everyone loved the feast of pizza, kebabs and salad it was all perfect and the staff were all super helpful! highly recommend for a nice plce to eat or for a gathering of larger parties!

Just got back from overnight stay. Wonderful place. Warm & friendly staff great choice of food. Rooms were very clean & had everything you would need. Beds were good I had a great nights sleep. Greeted by a very nice member of staff in morning for breakfast. Juices, cereal, fresh fruit, cooked to order full english, toast & tea or coffee. Hope to go again very soon.

The food was lovely, very filling & fresh. The service was slow but our hostess was very cheery & personable. The chance to shop at the little farm shop attached to the building was a nice, original touch. And, of course, you can't beat the view when sat outside. Though I do love canal boats!

The Bubble Inn worked well as my base on a recent business trip to Derby. The car park was mere paces from my room, and the drive to my customer's site on the south-east side of the city was a breeze. The restaurant did a good job with traditional fare, and the pub was a lively, local hangout. I particularly liked the richness of the eggs they served at breakfast. The best thing about the Bubble Inn must be their team. Everyone was friendly and caring. I will be returning. Have a look for some photos I shot of the area.

What a lovely place! We were greeted by a polite, friendly gentleman whose name I won't mention on the web, his pleasant demeanour set the tone for the rest of the stay. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant, very tasty, well cooked and plenty of it. The room we had was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed that easily accommodated my 6'3" frame. Breakfast was good too, full English with lots of toast. Worth every penny and we'll be going back again soon!

Good service and great location.

Went for a meal in a party of 19. Despite the mix up of them saying they had not having received our order that we had emailed through a week prior they took our order and food was served promptly. The food itself was excellent, very tasty and the kids were looked after just fine by the staff. A very nice pub/restaurant with a good atmosphere and plenty of parking outside.

The Bubble Inn is a lovely place to go and have a meal especially on a nice day, food is really good, staff are very polite, my only gripe about this place is the time it takes to be served at the bar.

This restaurant is amazing. We have been there a few times now and every time we have been pleased. I recommend this restaurant if you like to have a very cheerful night out, so if you go there I wish you a pleasant night out.

I love this place. Had a gorgeous scrummy Sunday dinner next to a lovely roaring fire. The perfect treat for a cold Winter day.

Mum's 60th Birthday party at the Stenson Bubble Inn, Fabulous night! The food was excellent, as was the service.

Good food, but relatively expensive and the service was appalling.

Very average — we went on a Sunday and no a la carte just the carvery (shame for vegetarians! ). Meat was nice and tender but limited vegetables kept warm, and cold plates so everything was cool by the time back at the table. Desserts — if you like flavoured sponge gateaux in large portions you are fine. That was the only choice.

The first time myself and wife called for Sunday dinner it was out of this world for flavour and taste but the second time it was not as good but we are going back again with friends, so I do hope it is as good as the first time.

Just had a nice fish and chip lunch and pint of peroni, then a walk along the canal to soak up the lovely weather. Perfect.
