Lovely staff lovely clean hotel toilets friendly staff.

The meal was excellent, the staff were friendly. Just had to wait at the bar a while, as new staff were learning. Perhaps not a good idea when its a large room of guests x.

Very helpful staff, always kind and smiling, no request is too much, attention to detail is second to none.

Best hotel in Chesterfield … really great restaurant. Nice touches like fresh milk in the fridge, home made biscuits. Easy access to Motorways and 8 miles from beautiful countryside if you fancy a spin in the Peak District. Staff are top notch. Highly recommended.

Attended a conference here which was excellent then met friends for supper in the bar. We had a great time. Food and drinks are pricy but the food is great. Rooms are spacious with super-king comfortable beds. Well stocked mini bar and large showers. Breakfast was good. I particularly loved the smoothie ‘shots’.

Looks glam and nice inside, but location not the best. So many places with a better view. — depends on what you are looking for. This isn't a country escape.

I so wish I could give this more than 5 stars as you deserve it so much! Me and my now husband got married here on the 27/7/18 and the whole day was perfect. Communication leading up to the wedding from Mark, Megan and Sian was amazing! Everyone commented on how smooth the day ran and honestly you made our dreams come true we literally couldn’t have asked for more! I will also be sending an email in as I feel you deserve so much more than a quick review on Facebook! Anyone th…inking of having an event here go for it you will not be disappointed! I wish we could do the whole day again! Huge huge thank you, your all the best! Mr & Mrs Sibert x.

The Casa hosted my daughters baby shower today. The staff were so attentive and couldn’t do enough for us.
Our suite was wonderful even the staff helped us blow up balloons and were so friendly. Waiter service was fab and our buffet was to die for, we were even given boxes and bags to take home the food that was left for our hungry hubbys.

We had our wedding reception here, the three stars is because I feel so upset that it wasn't perfect. The food was amazing, we couldn't have asked for better. We were advised that just outside our suite there would be a sign with our names on and a rope indicating to other guests it was a private function. There was no board outside with our names on and no rope. When our evening guests arrived I was told that upon going to the desk and giving the staff member our names our guest was told they didn't recognise the name… I had been told there were only two weddings at the location so the staff not knowing our first names really is a poor show and incredibly impersonal not to mention embarrassing for our guests. We were told a staff member would greet our guests and take drinks orders; this didn't happen. In my wedding dress I had to go from our suite to the public bar area along with other family members who also helped. I had to speak with a member of staff about this, by the time it was addressed we had sorted the situation ourselves. There weren't enough chairs for our guests, after asking three times we were given more chairs. Due to the suite not being roped off to the public, we later had a drunken guest who wasn't part of our party stagger in, throw up in our toilets then leave. When he came back again I spoke to a staff member who asked him to leave.

Excellent environment for a 'meal out. ' Staff friendly, plenty of parking, hotel well laid out with the restaurant situated at the opposite end (with bar! ) of function rooms. Expensive, both for food and drinks, but that's the price for quality!

I stayed here for a night. The room is great. The reason why I gave 3 stars only is because, I expected better service for a pricey hotel. The staff seems to lack in training and are very uncoordinated. I asked for a wake up call and a taxi certain times. I didn't get my wake up call. Luckily, I was able to wake up on my own earlier. When I told the concierge about what happened, he told me that my request was not on the printed list for wake up calls. He checked their notebook and the lady I requested it from, just wrote it their notebook and that's why they didn't see it. I think she was supposed to log it in their computer Because of that, I started to wonder if she actually called a taxi for us. The concierge called a taxi company to confirm and he was told that booking wasn't made, so he booked one for us. When the time came, a taxi from a different taxi company came. It turned out the female receptionist from the other day actually called a taxi for us after all.

Clean and quiet. I Enjoy my visits to the casa. I know exactly what I am getting and you don't get anything less than great from the staff at Casa.

Lovely hotel, fantastic service, great with kids to! We attended a friend's wedding at the hotel, and also stayed overnight. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is exceptional, there is a fantastic buffet as well as too order food as well the eggs royal and the pancakes were both fantastic. I would definitely recommend this hotel for events for adults and families the art around the hotel really makes you feel like you are in a 4* hotel and the service matches!

Ate in the restaurant upstairs and it was exceptional. I'm wondering if this will prove to be the best eatery in South Yorkshire soon. I am unsure who the head chef is, but watch this space for big things. The sea bass done in the Josper oven was fantastic. Be prepared to spend some money on this top end quality of food however. The sorbets to finish were a delight.

This hotel is simply beautiful. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The rooms are extremely comfortable and the small gym is great for keeping up with your fitness. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it here.

The Reception and restaurant staff are very friendly, polite and attentive. The rooms are spacious comfortable and well equipped. Restaurant food was excellent and I look forward to staying again in future.

Absolutely excellent. The standards of customer service, quality of food and drinks, after excellent. Would highly recommend for anyone wishing for a lovely place to dine.

Really posh yet warm and hospitable looking lobby. A kind waiter instantly asked to take our coats. The function room was adequately sized and we'll decorated. The food was incredible and staff service always came with a smile. Could not recommend more.

Works Christmas 'do'. Second time we have been here, unfortunately the food this time was very disappointing. After a long wait, our table was one of the last to be served which may be the reason why the soup was tasty but cold. The turkey was dry and hard and only just warm. The chocolate tart was nice but nothing special. At £45 a head it should have been better.

Went for dinner with my parents and found the surroundings, service and food were all top-notch. The lamb was so tender you could cut it with a wooden spoon and tasted amazing. The only thing I’d say that was a negative was that the bottled beers we had with our dinner were not very cold. That said, we did dine quite early so it’s possible they’d not been in the fridge that long. Either way, it’s not going to put me off awarding a solid 5-stars!

Great hotel. Friendly staff. Modern comfortable clean rooms. Plenty of parking. Free Wi-Fi. Easy to find just off a dual carriageway. Food is fantastic and very reasonable with early bird options in the restaurant. Tesco extra across the road for anything you've forgotten or for fuel. About a 20 min walk into town. Apparently has a gym though I didn't use it.

Really enjoyable stay, the food at the restaurant was excellent, beyond what I'd expected at a city hotel. The whole interior is really nicely done, and the bar has a decent beer selection. The beds in the rooms were extremely comfortable, and I thought it was a nice touch to have fresh milk and biscuits in the room, rather than the UHT stuff! Overall very impressed.

Have been in the Bar and restaurant. Both good but a bit pricey. Also been to a few music and comedy tribute evenings with 3 course meal included which I thought good value for money. Quality of food still as excellent as restaurant.

Playing with a band for a wedding party. I was well impressed by all the staff I met. Very helpfully and polite. For the short experience I had there I feel I would like to go back again. They just couldn't do enough. A bit rare theses days.

Stayed one night in this smart modern hotel. Very clean and comfortable as you would expect. Sound proofing excellent and no trouble having a room next to busy main road. Restaurant food was very good although service a little slow. Overall staff were friendly and helpful. We had disabled room with excellent bathroom although the bed was too high for someone on their own to manage.

Went to Casa hotel for a wedding, and it was lovely! The building as a whole is very beautiful, and open. The food was delicious, and at a decent price. I was fairly disappointed with the service however. I went to the restaurant for a coffee and they just referred me to go downstairs because they couldn't be bothered to start up the coffee machine, I was more than willing, but I thought it could have been better handled. Another point was when I ordered the salmon, and they said "no one ordered salmon at this table" so I ended up with a different meal. I was willing to do so, and it was delicious, but if I was to have a diet restriction it would be a much bigger deal. Non the less, my experience at the Casa hotel for both the use of the function room and the food was wonderful, and I'm planning on going back for a birthday meal. Overall the service was very good, I must say — there was just a few "hiccups", but I highly recommend it!

Spent a superb 4 nights at the Casa Hotel. Excellent room, great bars and food. Wonderful breakfast. Great choices. Attentive staff. This is our third stay here and we will be staying again in the future.

Two members of my family have stayed here, both widely travelled, and were very impressed. As live nearby have not stayed, but used restaurant and coffee shop on several occasions. Food very good. You might think all Ice cream is the same, but you would be wrong. I've cream here is superb!

We are here for a function and the food is lovely, the room is amazing, the bed is big, spacious and very comfortable. I have found the staff helpfull and friendly, I will definately be coming again and the breakfast is devine in bed x.

There really can be no better place to dine in Chesterfield whether on business or pleasure. Impeccable service, amazing food and very friendly staff. It's a beautifully modern building and this hotel ranks alongside one of the best and most hospitable that I have stayed at in this region. The Tapas selections in the bar are fabulous — and I can't wait to go back there.

I haven't stayed or eaten here but my friends and relatives have and I did visit the room they were staying in. Not cheap of course but I was impressed with the spaciousness and the quality although the view of the dual carriageway from the balcony leaves a little to be desired. My sister, who lives in Spain, ate here and noted that the tapas were poor in comparison to the ones back home.

I've only eaten there, but the quality of the venue and food and definitely 4 star. The service is concise and the staff are helpful as is the food divine. Been back this evening and the food is even better. Thanks for the great service and food guys.
