Had the pleasure of staying at the Braemar Guest House a few weeks ago and enjoyed it immensely! Only booked for one night but wish we had stayed 5 nights. Nice friendly hosts, very clean and comfortable accommodation. Massive breakfast choices which was cooked to perfection. We will definately make Braemar a regular stay-over every time we visit Buxton. Many thanks all for making our stay a very pleasant one. Hopefully be back soon and we will highly recommend.
Careful about the Damp and Stinky rooms! We were a group of 5, we took 3 rooms. 2 had very small bathrooms, one room had a decent sized bathroom but the room had damp and occasional smell of the attached toilet! I had to take help of medication because of this. One of the friends in group left the true feedback but the owner didn't like the true feedback and disturbed me while I was sleeping and insisted me to get it removed. He also offered some 'Deals' to make up for this. Other than smell of toilet and dampness in one of the room facilities are clean. Decent options for breakfast are available. Good location, offers easy access to local means if you have a car. Nicely decorated rooms with availability of free Wi-Fi.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff were first class and we couldn't fault the facilities. Also located so close to the town centre, another good reason for recommending it in our opinion.
