Review of Lakes Hotel & Spa 4*

Once again another fantastic stay at this hotel. All the staff; receptionist, concierge, house keepers, bar/restaurant staff, chefs, spa treatment staff and management were professional, lovely and welcoming. Just want to say a massive thank you to concierge mark, on the gate house. Before we even got in and parked up, he asked how our journey was from St Helens and welcomed us with a lovely smile. He had a cracking personality. Also want to say a big thank you to concierge Noel who welcomed us both into the hotel, did a fantastic meet and greet to all the staff and showed us around the newly refurbed hotel and also showed us around the tree top suite. George and cant remember the names of the other two bar staff were also lovely, great personality and very chatty and had a great laugh whilst having a drink in the bar and pub areas. They also do brilliant cocktails which have got to be the best we have ever tasted. There was a receptionist who was Hungarian, cant remember her name but she was so lovely, chatty and had a heart of gold. We had a lovely conversation and she also had a lovely personality. Finally the two spa treatment ladies Jade, Emilia were absolutely fantastic. Great personality, chatty and very professional. They both have a lovely soul. After the spa treatment it was like being on “cloud 9”. There are so many members of staff we would love to thank, but cant remember all your names. You made our stay very special and memorable.
