5* Highly recommend! A very cute guest house situated in the heart of Ambleside. Great hospitality & friendly environment. Ann is clearly experienced at preparing lovely breakfast & Andrew very helpful with up to date information of the area. Both great hosts, caring and provide their service with a smile. Easy access to local transport, shops and walks. We enjoyed our short stay, a clean & comfortable room. Thanks Ann & Andrew… we will visit again soon!

We have returned here again and again, as though coming home. Fairly widely-travelled but this place is a once-a-year MUST. Such a wonderful centre for walks etc.
