Great food and beer. Fish and chips was fab, the haddock looked more like a whale.

Appalling service! Everyone enjoyed their food and there’s no complaints there but the service was terrible. Some of the staff that were just serving food were lovely but the members that were “taking orders” were some of the rudest staff I’ve come across. The place wasn’t busy at all, then after 40 minutes of asking for drinks we ended up walking out. We’d ask several staff if we could order drinks, no one took our order and always got a response of “someone will be there soon”, the final nail in the coffin was one of the staff shouting back they were busy when there wasn’t many people there. It’s a real shame as we always been regulars here but won’t return any time soon!

Just received a take out Sunday dinner from Queens, absolutely beautiful, best one I've ever had, me and the baby wolfed it, can't wait for another next Sunday.

6 Sunday roast dinners collected today, piping hot & so much of it, even cooked beef on request as it wasn’t on the meat selection this week. Great job thanks guys xx.

Had a fabulous stay here. Our room was comfortable and clean, the food was brilliant, and the staff were extremely accommodating, friendly and welcoming. Hopefully we will back for another visit soon. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Lovely atmosphere. The food is brilliant. I really am impressed with the food. Had to wait for it, but really worth the wait. Brilliant.

Twice we've had takeaway fish and chips and pizza for celebrations in the last few weeks. Both times absolutely fantastic — best fish, best chips, best pizza — thanks so much to Nathan and team at Queen's. Awesome x.

Had our Valentines meal here. Tapas, 5 dishes and a bottle of wine for £30. Brilliant value and food was lovely :)

Modern airy great food and outside space, landlord and staff great. Pool room could do with a good polish thou.

Food was very good but quite a limited menu. Dont expect a fast meal things are made to order.

Excellent food and service. Spacious and well equipped bathroom and bedroom. Handy for coast to coast walkers, as only 2 minutes walk from St Bees station.

Great friendly Pub/Hôtel! This is our second stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a comfy bed and great food! Very friendly owners & staff who can’t do enough for you!

The Queens is a deceptively lovely pub perfectly mixing traditional pub, modern restaurant and upmarket pub. From the front the pub doesn't look very exciting but inside it is really very lovely and the staff are nice. The beer garden is wonderful — they've done a lot of work to make it the ideal place for a pint outdoors. The food at the restaurant is delicious and they have novel ideas like doing takeaway fish and chips and pizza! All in all, an excellent pub which caters for different clientèle superbly.

Nice place to stop for lunch on a sunny afternoon. Great garden.

Awesomely great, close to too not a far walk or to strenuous, hosts and all of staff were just so welcoming, didn't mind the dog either, fabulous meals, Breakfast seconded to none, see u again for thanks Nathan & Melissa + yr amazing staffx.

Food realy good staff realy good made to feel welcome even by the chap at the bar owner even agreed to allow me to put £5 in the tip jar and take home a nice glass would go again in in St bees.

Not bad, but unfortunately, not good either. The menu was uninspiring. My wife had the three bean chili and I had the chicken madras. I asked if the chicken could be prepared “mild” as I didn’t want anything too spicy; the next thing I know is that a very spicy dish arrived (never answered my question. There are better choices, even in little St Bees.

A budget bed and breakfast with great staff and a good bar central to St Bees. Great sunny beer garden.

Can't fault it. Good food … good sized portions… good staff… quite busy when we went but weren't kept waiting… deffo go again.

Good pub with a fun quiz on thursdays. However they don't do food at Sunday lunch time. This is a huge issue after a long walk round st bees head.

Carl and I had our wedding reception at the Queens on Saturday 22nd July 2017. It surpassed all our expectations. Mel, Nathan, Joan and Dave pulled out all stops to make everything perfect. Mel and Joan did a wonderful summer buffet with most of it being polished off.
What was great was we didn't have to worry about anything at all. The staff were very friendly and helpful. As the bride they made it a very relaxing day, everyone saying it was one of the best receptions they'd been to.
We were lucky with the weather, the garden being a great feature with a bar, like having another room.

Staff & local people all very friendly & helpful. Food at Queens is great too. Our room was comfortable. Queens is handy for trains. We really enjoyed our stay & wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Thank you to everyone for making our stay a pleasurable one.
