We love this place. This is the 5th time we've been. We have stayed in various rooms with many family members. Janet couldn't have been more helpful. Particularly with my mam. Who had c. O. P. D. And needed oxygen delivered. She accomatated that with no problem.

Great location, large well appointed bedrooms, showers with plenty of hot water, everything spotlessly clean, all topped off with a lovely freshly prepared breakfast. The hosts are very friendly and there's plenty of on site parking, if C. Sberg did guesthouses!

Such a good place to stay! They made me so very welcome nothing was too much trouble. The room was wonderful with a double room and a single, and a huge, clean and bright bathroom. The breakfast is second to none! Everything is available from yogurt to fruit to full English! It's all fresh and local and they even catered for gluten free! The setting is idyllic, so quite at night and beautiful bird song in the morning! Couldn't have been better! Definitely recommend this place.

Excellent area available for all during the North lakes half marathon.

1st time staying here as I was taking part in the North Lakes half marathon. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful with good local knowledge. The area itself is beautiful with some amazing views. The accommodation is really nice, we stayed in the 2 bedroomed suite which was plenty big enough for 3 adults. Breakfast was very tasty and catered for gluten free diets if needed. All in all I would definitely recommend Graysonside guest house and would definitely return.

My husband and I luv this place. Everything is fabulous.

We came here due to the 1st place that we booked being a horrible place, we phoned them here and they took us in and found a lovely spot for our motor home to park, beautiful views, the facilities were clean, the shower block was lovely and clean, and the person we dealt with was so helpful, I would differently come again.

1st time staying here and it is a beautiful guest house well worth its 5* rating. We ended up with the apartment and the daughter and husband to be had the classic room. Breakfast is out of this world as sausages, bacon etc are locally sourced. The owners were top class, very helpful and friendly nothing was a bother to them. Will definately be going back.

Third time staying here and this time we had the garden room. So comfy, spotlessly clean and breakfast is awesome. No complaints at all we are made very welcome.

Just stayed the one night at Graysonside as we had a Christening in the area. The room was spotless and very spacious and the breakfast menu was superb as was the food. Will definately book again and would recommend to family and friends.

Graysonside is a wonderful guest host. Friendly staff, lovely rooms and by far the best place I have ever stayed in Cumbria. I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else!

The accommodation was a fully equipped self contained apartment! Breakfast was of the highest quality and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Great value and it made a wash out visit to the lakes much more enjoyable.

Friendly service, immaculate rooms, quiet location and superb breakfast, I couldn't have been made to feel more at home and I look forward to staying at Graysonside again soon.

Beautiful venue and location. Excellent facilites and easy to get to off the A66 and to go into Cockermouth for an evening. Very friendly staff and the breakfast was superb.

Just enjoyed a 3 night stay at the Graysonside Guest House. We were met with a warm and friendly welcome. The quality and comfort of the furnishings and decor are of a very high standard. The breakfast was a wonderful banquet of fresh fruit cereals yogurts and cooked breakfast of locally sourced produce all of a very high standard. Superb. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. You will definitely see us again and be recommended to family and friends.

Lovely place for a weekend away. Beautiful spacious room. Amazing fews of the mountain side. Hostess very accommodating. Gave us a lift into town which was very nice. Only downside was the shower. Which was an electric one that had low pressure, the room was slightly cold too. Still well worth the visit to this amazing part of the country.

Beautiful modern room with a gorgeous view and new bathroom and a fresh 5 star cooked breakfast every morning. This is one of the best places I have stayed in and far surpasses hotel accomodation. Its a short walk to the nearest eatery but so pleasant that its no problem. If you're after quiet luxury accomodation at an affordable price stay here.
