Good location but don’t bother eating here probably the worst premier food and such a shame because the receptionist/ waitress was lovely.

My room smells of sick. And they have covered stains on the sheet with tipex.

Had a lovely stay last weekend. Room was immaculate, Location great and really friendly staff. Special mention to Will who couldn't do enough for us. Thanks to all.

Lady in reception is full of smiles, very helpful. Hotel location is perfect. Sainsburys is next door. Parking right in front of entrance and plenty of spaces. Room clean, spacious and with all the amenities. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel in the centre of Penrith. Friendly staff and the rooms are always spotlessly clean. It’s also nice to see more than 2 tea bags in the tea making facilities!
We will be back again next year.

Asked more questions for a second key card than the initial check in. Went for breakfast at 10 am on a sunday morning to find every juice jug empty and just one member off staff who when I asked put just enough orange in for one glass each no other staff in there to approach, the wholemeal bread basket was empty along with eggs, mushrooms, black pudding and beans. Went to reception to inform them and was just offered a refund with no apology or attempt to rectify the situation. Plus sides are the cleanliness off the hotel and rooms and the young chap who checked us in initially.

Great staff, comfortable room. How is it a/c which is turned off turns itself on to give you an unwanted 7 am alarm call that sounds like a jet taking off & is still running 25 minutes later?!

Great hotel, great facilities; especially the lovelly shower after a day on a bike doing the Coast to Coast challenge.

A reasonably modern Premier Inn so nicely presented. On-site restaurant for breakfast etc. Good location. Plenty of parking. Helpful staff. Quiet room with effective air conditioning. What's not to like.

Seems pretty new and room/cleanliness and staff all excellent. Good location for town centre and only 10 mins from train station.

Very welcome place for the weary traveler. Set in a square adjacent to a sainsbury supermarket. The car park has a limits of 3 hours and is camara monitored, but fear nought if you register your vehicle within 3 hours of arrival with the premier Inn you'll then be OK for stay. The breakfast is well worth £9.95 you can eat as much as you want including tea, coffee and fruit juice. Very comfortable rooms and I found the staff friendly and professional.

Good price. Great location. Room was clean and a good size. Could control the temperature in the room which was very nice given the hot weather, the room was lovely and cool. Excellent breakfast the next morning as well. Would stay there again.

We just walk in off the street and get our breakfast. It's clean tidy and very very good choice of food. It's well worth it.

Fairly easy to find. Our room was on the 2nd floor so opening windows was a no-no, which can make you feel hermetically sealed in. Checking in was surprising, in this day and age of data protection, the check in console was open for all to see my details, address etc. Including the people behind us in the auto check in who, if they wished could’ve seen all my details. Not an improvement at all, all designed to cut down on staff I assume. Parking was fine.

Standard premier Inn, staff were nice and breakfast was good. The room was too warm, even when we left the heating off.

If you are ever in the Penrith area and looking for an excellent, central location at value for money prices this is the place. The staff were so friendly and helpful, parking is as good as you will get in any hotel immediately in front of the premises at no cost and the breakfast was good (the only negative comment is the plates could have been heated). The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean and we would stay again. Free Wi-Fi also.

Very, very good… This place tops them all so far for the Premier Inn breakfast experience. Easy parking, efficient table seating and service. The food is first class served in a very clean and gleaming open fronted view restaurant. On our way to Perth Premier Inn ; lets see if they can top this one?

BED BUGS! I am writing here, as it seems impossible to get any feedback from your guest services. We were really disappointed when we stayed in the Premier Inn in Penrith in July. The last thing I anticipated was to end up with over 40 BED BUG BITES! When the staff discovered the infestation, we were told by the manager straight away we would get a full refund for our stay and we would be reimbursed for the medications and creams we had to buy to try ease the welts. We also had a number clothes ruined when washed by the hotel and I was told I would be reimbursed for these also. We felt the staff dealt with this disgraceful situation as well as possible, they seemed genuinely appalled and empathic. However it seems it is a case of out of sight, out of mind! We contacted guest services as instructed and didn't received a full refund, just a percentage of our stay, we didn't received any compensation for the medications or the ruined clothes. We were told this is what we would receive without even asking and that guest services had been informed etc etc. Our trip was ruined by the whole experience and it was weeks until the welts settled down and I even had a good nights sleep. I am quite frankly shocked at our we have been treated since, and after being a regular user of premier inns will not be using them again. So sleep tight and watch the bed bugs don't bite, and don't expect a refund for your trouble!

The hotel was booked through work, but this is was one of the better ones I've stayed in, staff were fantastic, room was first class as was the food, would stay again ☉☉☉☉

Stayed while we looked for a house to buy. Family room was spacious and very clean. Staff polite and friendly. My partners parents stay here when they come and visit.

Looks big from the outside. Actually is run by a few devoted staff ppl. It works. Great atmosphere. Not overcrowded. Just right. Room was clean and comfy. Food could be improved but is fairly OK for such a small kitchen. Visiting second time. Again praise the staff for its competence.

Stayed here for a few days and I have to say the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, my only issue is that you cannot get fresh air into the room as the windows don't open. You have to put the air con on instead. Great for families though and the free parking shared with Sainsburys is great. The breakfast is fantastic and will wish the money. The floors are not very soundproofed though and you hear footsteps in the room above.

Only lost a star as new plastic clothes tags on floor so either not hoovered or missed by cleaners. Staff helpful and well situated good cheap breakfast round the corner at the Wetherspoon pub.

We stayed here on Saturday night for an evening wedding reception we were attending in Penrith & from the moment we checked in, the service was superb. A very friendly, helpful receptionist greeted us & gave us directions to our room. We were delighted with our room as it was spotless, comfortable & quiet. Checkout the next morning was again by a lovely receptionist & hassle free. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would definitely stay here again. Well done & thanks.

Lovely sized rooms and very clean. Quick and easy to check in. Secure, as you need a key card to access any of the corridors or staircases. Very well located with a large sainsbury next door. In the town with lots of shops and restaurants. Free parking and Wi-Fi (which is good enough for browsing) Good location for accessing main roads to local walks and lakes. We will definitely stay again!

Just got back from a lovely weekend in Penrith, Stayed at the Premier Inn what a lovely place. Friendly staff and management lovely rooms and great breakfast look out for the Scottish guy who serves the breakfasts lovely guy very helpful and knowledgeable on the area. would recommend The premier inn 10 out of 10.

As Premier Inns go this is a really good one. Very quickly accessible from the M6 or A66, plenty of free parking, very clean and well kept. It is Premier Inn so expect standard tea making facilities, hair dryer and shower gel dispensers, don't expect an iron, ironing board or trouser press. Good value as always.
