TV in rooms not working all week, 5 hrs in your room after work is a long time to kill, used all data on phone, and free hotel internet is very poor, can’t stream tv.

Stayed for two nights with two young children visiting family in the area. I love a Premier Inn! Staff were so lovely and friendly. My youngest spotted the smiley face breakfast in the menu and the staff went out of their way to make his breakfast a smiley face too!

This place feels like a welcome home everytime I walk through the door. Simply brilliant.

We would just like to thank the staff and especially Hannah for the kindness at a very stressful time. Nothing was too much trouble, they went beyond their duties to help sort out our car as my husband was in James Cook hospital having a triple bypass operation, and couldn't sort our problem out. Thank you once again from the bottom of our hearts.

I would like to thank all the staff for making my stay so good last week when I stayed for five nights while my husband was undergoing major heart surgery at James Cook hospital. Everyone was friendly, extremely helpful and very understanding. My room on 1st floor was very safe, extremely clean and indeed comfortable and spacious. The shower was a good size and the bed was just great. I did feel it was overpriced but unfortunately my unexpected stay was over the Easter weekend and I was so pleased that all I had to do was cross the road to the hospital to be there at visiting times. The staff are a credit to the company — well done!

Never new you could just go in for a coffee pay once and refill was good as a meeting for a quick catch up with friends.

Typical room. Breakfast good though portion size variable — heap of bubble and squeak served, as well as bacon instead of sausages requested, though this was promptly corrected. TV hard to search for channel with remote control. Too many ineffective buttons, no guide to available channel numbers.

The staff are very good. A young women behind the counter was fantastic with me. But this place is way overpriced. £72 a night gets you a good bed which is good, but that's it. The TV is tiny. No bath. Shower with very basic shower gel that didn't smell nice. No fridge. It's a hotel but you can pay less than half the price and get the same elsewhere.

Really friendly staff. Good breakfast. I would give 5 stars if they had their own restaurant for evenings as there are limited options for vegetarians at Toby Carvery and there's not many restaurants/cafes within walking distance of the hotel.

Another enjoyable stay. Reception check in pleasant and easy. Rooms to premier inn standard and breakfast yummy. So far never been disappointed when I stay.

I have just had THE BEST nights sleep in four years thanks to the comfortable bed, warmth and hospitality at this premier inn. Then to have such an amazing breakfast of whatever I wanted to eat and as much as I wanted just within a few steps of my room for the night, made by Denise in the kitchen who was solely intent on making our breakfast experience perfect, Catherine the waitress serving us completed the best breakfast I've had for a very long time, I wish my son had a uni interview every day so I can experience this more, I literally don't want to go home : (

I was there for only the one night but I was checked in by a lovely young girl on reception. She knew the area well and couldn't do enough for me… I believe her name was Page. In short the hotel could do with a bit of an upgrade but it was pleasant enough to stay in and the staff are a real positive!

There is a normal level of expectation that has been achieved here. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the breakfast more than adequate. Beds are comfortable and rooms fine, personally — my shower was hot and powerful. There is a Toby Carvery next door, which is just about adequate.

Very late check in after we couldn't get into other accommodation that we'd bought and paid for, with our 2 year old! Nothing was a problem and we were given hot chocolate before bed. Great night! Thank you!

All well and good. Nice and clean with decent breakfast. Only criticism is there is no decent adjoining bar restaurant just a Tony carvery which can be a bit repetitive.

This is the fourth time I have stayed at this Premier Inn in Middleborough and I have been extremely happy with the service I have received. The rooms are always fresh and clean, the breakfasts delicious and the staff very helpful. I would highly recommend this establishment.

Always welcomed friendly. Ring you before arrival to make sure everything is in place before your arrival. Helpful throughout stay. We stay here frequently as we have family in area. Would not stay anywhere else.

Free parking, a great location just off the motorway and an on-site Toby Carvery (I didn't eat here this visit but the food was good when I stopped for lunch a few weeks ago) all made for positives. Unfortunately the room, while certainly clean, looked a bit tired in comparison to the refurbished Premier Inns I've recently stayed in. An 8am alarm caused by some fool playing with a fire exit was an unwelcome end to an otherwise pleasant stay.

The best premier inn I have ever stayed in — staff lovely and breakfast superb. The room was spotless and overlooked a large open green area so a nice view too.

This Premier Inn has a large parking lot, shared with the Toby Carvery which is situated in the same compound (your vehicle's details will be taken at the reception and parking fees are not to be paid). It is located opposite the James Cook Hospital and I feel the locality is quiet, though it is close to a main road. The reception adjoins a room where breakfast is served in the morning. There are a few couches next to reception where you can wait at if required. The staff at reception is friendly and professional. They helped me with all the questions I had about availability of food and also places I could eat at, or order in from. There is one lift in the premises and stairs, the entrance to which, requires a keycard to enter, providing some extra security. The room and toilet is spacious and clean. There is a television in the room and a table, a chair and a single seater sofa (in the double room that I stayed in). A kettle, some tea bags and coffee satchets are provided. There is room heating which works well, which can be controlled with a thermostat. In summer if it is hot, I guess you would have to open the wind that opens partially (limited by a mechanism for safety). The house keeping staff is friendly! Breakfast is adequate, nothing special, and has to be paid for separately. Free Wi-Fi and 'paid for' Wi-Fi is available, and I did not experience any problems with connectivity. I would stay here again if I had to!

A conveniently located hotel for the place we were visiting (Redcar). On arrival and throughout our one night stay the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The pub next door was a bit tired inside, however the beer and wine which we had were very nice. The room was at the back overlooking a quiet housing estate so we slept very well. Special mention for the fantastic breakfast, best we have had in a hotel for a long time. The cooked breakfast was piping hot and delicious, and there was a proper Costa coffee machine rather than instant, which was a nice touch. Overall, an excellent stay, thank you.

A perfectly acceptable Premier Inn that follows the pattern. It doesn't have the same comfort of some other locations but it is consistent and significantly better than the nearest alternative hotels.

Highest recommendation. The staff could not have been more helpful. Beautifully appointed rooms. Very handy for the town centre, but quietly situated off the main road. (Also Ideally situated next to The Toby Carvery — superb food and drink there at affordable prices. ) For the price, this is the best value in theTeesside area.

Stayed recently for 2 nights. Friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money. Great breakfast, with good vegetarian options. Our three kids ate free.
