Carol, Once again, many thanks for your fabulous and caring customer care gesture. We though we had lost our break in your beautiful cottage, due to circumstances out with our control and especially in this mad, crazy world that we live in at this time.

My partner and I spent one night here when visiting family. The hotel is BEAUTIFUL. The historic building is perfect, rooms are huge and the breakfast is delicious, with plenty of choice.
The owner is so welcoming, he gave us a tour and explained the history of the house, he made us feel as if we were staying with friends. I have recommended this hotel to anyone visiting this area and I can’t wait to go back.
Most importantly for us though is he also welcomed our two large boisterous dogs.

Lovely place. Highly recommend. The staff are so friendly and helpful the breakfast was yummy. Best nights sleep I’ve had in ages. Gorgeous massive room! Amazing bathroom with roll top bath! Would definitely come again!

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of my 50th birthday surprise. So relaxing listening to the birds tweeting and watching the bats at night. Lovely breakfast and friendly, amenable staff. Would definitely recommend it.

Had an amazing few days away here. Highly recommend it for a chill weekend. All staff are lovely. Carol especially. We will return :)

Fantastic Setting My partner and myself stayed at Heads Nook Hall B&B for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Although the weather was cold the welcome from Malcolm Bill and the Staff was very warm. The Hall was built in 1840 and retains many of its original features. There are four spacious en-suite bedrooms a lovely day room and breakfast room with a real fire. The breakfast was superb. One major favourable point is that it is Dog Friendly Well worth a stay.

Stayed on a Saturday night. What an atmospheric place. Seems quite severe in daylight, like a typical 18th century hall, but takes on a totally different character at night. It's warmth and general feel is quite homely and relaxing. The rooms take on a kind decadence that is far removed from the blandness found in most b&b's. It has a friendliness that I've not encountered in many places. Bill, was our first contact, a kind, and very helpful custodian. The breakfast was comprehensive and first class, served in a lovely dining room, with a happy and smiling young lady server, and an equally great cook. Would I stay again… of course. For something different with character. You have to stay.

Fantastic building (built around the 1800s) with a great atmosphere, good breakfast and a great host. Very enjoyable to stay here.

Stunning B&B. We stayed in the Blue Room, which is stunning with amazing view. So peaceful.
Malcolm and staff were so friendly. Arrived to tea, scones and a roaring fire. We will be back.

This is the most beautiful place to stay. We stayed in the Hall not the cottage which is like an Annex to the hall itself. The bedrooms are magnificent, the staff so friendly and the food can only be likened to a 5 star hotel, but much less corporate. Breakfast was eaten in the beautiful dining room, complete with roaring log fire. There are plenty of local hostelries nearby for evening meals. We cannot wait to go back in January.

This is our 2nd stay at this beautiful residence, having enjoyed it the first time we promised ourselves we would return, and we kept our promise! Both times we felt like royalty, with the amazing accommodation and wonderful food. Eating scones upon arrival, and breakfast in front of a roaring log fire in a morning, fantastic. We've already booked our 3rd visit, this time for January, can't wait.

We stayed for 3 nights in the Blue Room. What a fantastic place — it was truly like stepping back in time — simply magical! The proprietor and staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful, and the food was delicious. We cannot recommend this beautiful place highly enough — it was amazing and we will definitely be going back!
