Checking in was straight forward, arrived by 2pm, it’s well organised and you order breakfast online too. Has all the amenities you need while away, tea coffee etc on suite bathroom with shower, rooms have heating and Wi-Fi plus a telly.
Parking is out on the street, but plenty of places to park, so that’s not a problem. It’s close to the shops, has views of the mountains, which are absolutely stunning.
Derwent Lake is nearby. So it’s an ideal base for walkers.
Would highly recommend Greystoke to family and friends.

Just returned home from a lovely 2 night stay here with my dog. Amazing breakfast, comfortable room and great hosts! Perfect location close to town with walks from the door. Didn’t need my car all weekend.
